방송콘텐츠 서비스 전략에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Strategy of future content & services for EBS-Based on success factors of EBS <지식채널e>

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 TV 및 방송 분야에는 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 미디어기술의 발달에 따른 스마트화가 진행되고 있고 유통 채널의 다변화에 따른 N스크린적 소비가 보편화되고 있다. 이러한 미디어 컨버전스는 세계적인 추세로, 여러 미디어소비 행태 조사 등을 통해 볼 때 웹 및 모바일, 디지털 미디어 활용시간이나 데이터 사용량이 지속적으로 증가될 것으로 예측되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 급변하는 미디어 기술과 사회변화에 적극 대처하기 위하여 새로운 콘텐츠의 기획, 제작, 서비스를 어떻게 구현해가야 할 것인가에 대한 문제를 EBS의 <지식채널e> 프로그램을 중심으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 연구를 수행하였다. 첫째, <지식채널e>의 대중적 호응, 작품성, 교육성, 공익성 등의 원동력은 무엇인지에 대한 분석을 통해 <지식채널e>의 특성과 성공 요인을 분석하고 둘째, 사회 환경 변화, 미디어 환경 변화를 고려한 어떻게 새로운 미디어 전략을 펼칠 것인지에 대한 대안 제시이다. 새로운 미디어 전략 수립을 위한 대안 제시의 측면에서는 첫째, 방송콘텐츠가 나아갈 서비스의 지향점을 제시하고 둘째, 미디어 교육의 확대 방안을 제시하였으며 셋째, 클립콘텐츠에 스토리텔링을 접목한 웹과 모바일 기반의 인터렉티브형 서비스, 콘텐츠 플랫폼 운영 등의 전략 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 분석과 대안 제시를 통해 본 연구는 미디어 환경 변화와 사용자의 욕구 변화에 적극적으로 부응하고 이에 대처하기 위하여 콘텐츠 플랫폼을 구축하고 지원하는 일은 글로벌 콘텐츠 경쟁력을 확보하는 일과 함께 미디어 유통전략 뿐만 아니라 문화전략 측면에서도 매우 중요한 일임을 강조하였다.

Ily in recent years, our society faces a considerable change in the field of broadcasting and TV. The convergence of media is a universal trend in accordance with the commercialization of Smart and N-Screen due to the diversification of the distribution channels and media technology. In addition, duration of web, mobile and digital media usages or the amount of data used is predicted to increase constantly according to recent researches of consumers behavior. Coping with the rapidly changing media technology and the society over all, this study has analyzed to implement planning and producing of contents and related service based on the <EBS 지식채널e> program. In regard to the mainspring and driving force of <EBS 지식 채널e> such as strong public responses, high educational value and public interest, I have studied deep into several subjects as followed: the supply of <지식채널e> contents and related service, communication between social desire of receivers and changes in media environment, contents competitiveness of 지식채널e , and composition and planning strategy for switching over 2 types of publication genre. In conclusion, this study has suggested strategies for reinforcing creativity and global-oriented features, strengthening media education, building an interactive service based on web & mobile combining clip contents with storytelling, and operating contents platform. To build and support contents platform and to secure global contents competitiveness are crucial not only for establishing media marketing strategy but also for devising enlightened strategy.
