번역 가독성 개념에 대하여 = About the Concept of Readability in Translation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The concept of readability is often used together with the concept of faithfulness as a criterion for the discussion about the characteristics and quality of the translations. In translation studies, however, there has been little research on the concept of readability itself and there have been hardly any attempts to define the term in a systematical way. In linguistics much research regarding readability itself has been conducted. In translation studies the concept of readability is often taken from the linguistics. This paper aims to describe the translation-related concept of readability on the basis of research results in linguistics, so that the concept can be used in a more analytical and purposeful way in scientific and practical works such as translation quality assesment.
