팬데믹(Pandemic) 시대 교회와 신학의 과제 = The Task of the Church and Theology in Pandemic Time

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Because of COVID-19, social distance, untact, and local publicity are become familiar words. The social distance intends to leave a distance between human beings. However, it expands its meaning to keep distance between human being and nature. The COVID-19 changed worship into online worship service and regular school class into online class. The untact culture and life are being expanded to many areas. The seminar on relationship between the COVID-19 and church emphasizes that church should sympathize with and serve to its local community.
Based on this situation, this article tries to suggest the tasks of church and theology in pandemic time. I will attempt to construct a understanding of creation with the perspective of social distance, a ecclesiology with untact life, and a glocal theology with local publicity.
To construct a theology of creation with the perspective of social distance, I will summon the process theology and Jurgen Moltmann’s theology, and emphasize the creation of just order for the integrity of God’s creation. In other words, social distance should be expanded to universal distance. To suggest an ecclesiology for pandemic time, I will summon the mixed church of Augustinus and the ecclesiology of John Wesley. This article insists that the church in pandemic time should be hybrid church. God’s word and holy communion coexist in the hybrid church. Lastly, this article will bring Rudometof’s notion of Glocal which means refracted global through the wave of light. Furthermore, this article will articulate the class meeting of Methodist which was refracted to labor union. Through Rudometof’s notion of GLOCAL and the class meeting of Methodist, I will suggest glocal theology for local publicity.
After all, as tasks of church and theology for pandemic time, this article suggests the theology of creation which emphasizes just order, the hybrid church which coexists online worship/ church) and off-line worship/church, and glocal theology which serves local communities with the universality of Gospel.
