내러티브와 메타포의 교육적 적용 가능성 탐구 = Exploring the Educational Applicability of Narrative and Metaphor

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 내러티브와 메타포의 차원에서 교육적 적용 가능성을 탐구하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 언어, 예술, 정치와 경제 등의 인간 삶의 한 부분에서 내러티브와 메타포의 의미를 탐색하였고, 그 결과 내러티브와 메타포가 인간의 삶의 다양한 영역에서 작동하고 있다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 이후 교육적 적용 가능성으로 교육의 담론 형성 및 교수-학습 과정에서 개념의 형성 과정, 정체성 형성 과정 및 연구 방법 측면에서 내러티브와 메타포 활용으로서 교육의 인지지도 확장 가능성을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 내러티브는 인간의 삶을 서사적 구조로서 재구성하며, 메타포는 이 과정에서 내러티브 생성을 위한 상상의 도구로서 역할을 수행한다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 교육이 인간을 대상으로 하고, 그들의 바람직한 삶을 돕기 위해서는 교육 언어에 대한 내러티브와 메타포의 이해 및 작동 양상에 대한 심층적 이해가 필요하고 볼 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore the educational applicability of the dimensions of narrative and metaphor. For this purpose, the meaning of narrative and metaphor was explored in one part of human life, such as language, art, politics, economics and the results showed that narrative and metaphor operate in various areas of human life. Then, in terms of educational applications, we examined the possibility of expanding the cognitive map of education by utilizing narratives and metaphors in terms of discourse formation in education, concept formation process in teaching and learning, identity formation process, and research methods. The results of the study confirmed that narratives reconstruct human life as a narrative structure, and metaphors play a role in this process as imaginary tools for narrative creation. If education is to target human beings and help them live desirable lives, a deeper understanding of how narrative and metaphor are understood and operationalized in the language of education will be necessary.
