The purpose of this study is to examine the scope of instruction in the cultural section taught at school through high school『Chinese I』 and the degree of reflection in the questions of the CSAT, and the organic connection between learning and evaluation and the systematicity.
To this end, the entire cultural domain covered in 11 high school 『Chinese I』 textbooks currently used in high schools was organized, divided into 92 categories, and organized into tables.
Most of the questions introduced cultural items, which are the core topics of textbooks, and made them the subject of evaluation, but there are still quite a few questions that go beyond the scope of culture every year.
Finally, through suggestions on the structure of textbooks and curricula, the future direction of Chinese cultural education in secondary education was presented.
