사무직 종사자의 원예활동 경험과 직무스트레스 관계분석 = Analysis of Relationships between Job Stress and Preference of Horticulture Activities of Clerical Workers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop the horticultural activity program (HAP) for job stress management for clerical workers. The research was designed as descriptive study. One hundred fifty officers were analyzed of experience and preference of Horticultural activities and plants. And the Scale of Job Stress Short Form developed by Jang et al. (2005), 24 items, 7 sub domains, 4 Likert scale, reliability Cronbach’s alpha 0.88 was used. The preferred horticulture plants were composed of ornamentals 37.3%, vegetables 18.0%, and fruits 12.7%. The preferred ornamentals were flowering and functional plants. Among the horticulture activities, officers experienced watching 53.7%, gardening 28.8%, and using 5.1%, but their preference was changed as gardening 28.7%, using 24.7%, and watching 18.6%.
The harvesting and decorating activities were recommended. And the more experience of horticultural activity was the less score of job stress, insecurity of job, and conflict of relationship. The group who had preferred to ornamentals was the more autonomy of job than those who had preferred vegetables. So the horticultural activity program was recognized necessary to develop for the interpersonal relationship and stress management.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사무직 종사자들의 직무스트레스 완화를 위하여 원예식물 및 활동에 관한 사전 선호도와 직무스트레스의 연관성을 분석하고자 실시하였다. 원예 활동 경험과 관련된 사전 선호도 조사에서 원예식물 중 많이 키워본 식물 및 선호하는 원예식물은 화훼, 채소, 과수 순으로 조사되었으며 경험해 본 원예활동은 감상하기가 가장 높게 나타났다. 선호하는 원예활동은 키우기, 이용하기, 감상하기 순으로 조사되었다. 또한, 원예활동 경험에따른 직무스트레스 측정 결과 식물 가꾸기를 선호하는 사람의 직무 스트레스가 낮게 나타나는 것으로 조사되었으며, 채소류에 비해 화훼류를 선호하는 사람이 직무자율성 결여에 대한 스트레스에서 유의한 차이로 높게 나타났다. 직무불안정 및 관계갈등 대한 직무스트레스는 식물이 비교적 유용하다고 응답한 집단의 점수가 낮았다.
이러한 연구결과를 통해 원예활동 프로그램이 직장 내 대인관계 향상 및 직무스트레스 관리에 적용 가능한 활동으로 개발할 필요성이 있는 것으로 판단되었다.
