      • Multi-Domain 방법을 이용한 TN-LCD의 광시야각 구현

        Multi-domain method has been used for broadening the viewing angle of TN-LCD which is generally showing an unsymmetry in the up and down side and a narrow viewing angle in the up side. We measured the orientational order and the T-V curve to find out the suitable rubbing strength of the multi-domain cell. The characteristics of the cell was estimated by measuring the viewing angle and the gray scale. The four-domain cell has a symmetrical wide viewing angle in every side and the gray inversion is not occurred in any side. The multi-domain cell is found to be useful in application of the gray scale.

      • Agrobacterium을 이용한 고추의 형질전환체계개발

        본 실험은 고추의 형질전환체 선발을 위한 최소의 항생제농도를 결정하고 그 결과를 이용하여 형질전환체를 유기하고 효율을 최대화하기 위하여 수행한 바 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 항생제 감응성 검정결과 kanamycin 40㎎/ℓ와 hygromycin 20 ㎎/ℓ에서 신초형성이 완전히 억제되었다. 2. Agrobacterium 제거에 사용되는 carbenicillin과 cefotaxime 처리시 재분화에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았으며 cefotaxime 200㎎/ℓ 처리에서는 무처리구보다 신초형성이 더 활발하였다. 3. 회복친인 135Q와 276F에서는 형질 전환시 높은 재분화율을 보였으나 형질전환율은 각각 10%와 11.1%의 낮은 빈도를 보였다. 4. 재분화된 신초들을 대상으로 histochemical GUS assay를 실시한 결과 부분적으로 푸른발색이 확인되었다. 5. GUS활성을 보인 신초들에 대한 NPTⅡprimer를 이용한 PCR검정에서 NPTⅡ 유전자의 존재가 확인되었다. A transformation system using Agrobacterium tumefaciens was developed with different genotypes of hot peppers (Capsicum annuum). Four antibiotics commonly used in Agrobacterium-mediated transformation were tested for their effects on shoot regeneration. Shoot induction was completely inhibited by kanamycin at 40㎎/ℓ and hygromycin at 20㎎/ℓ or higher, but not by carbenicillin and cefotaxime. Cotyledon explants of hot peppers were cocultivated with Agrobacterium turnefaciens LBA4404 which carries a binary. vector pBI121 harboring the neomycin phosphotransferase, type Ⅱ (NPT Ⅱ) gene and β-glucuronidase (GUS) gene. For selection of transformed cells, 40㎎/ℓ kanamycin were used because the sensitivity test showed that 40㎎/ℓ kanamycin completely inhibited shoot induction from nontransformed cells. Histochemical GUS assay showed the presence of the GUS gene and PCR analysis confirmed the NP TⅡ gene was integrated. Transformation frequency was about 10.0% and 11.1% of total regenerants from 135Q and 276F, respectively.

        Integrated SolidWorks & Simscape Platform for the Model-Based Control Algorithms of Hydraulic Manipulators

        Hydraulic manipulators have been widely used in many different fields due to their high force/torque to inertia ratio. The increased speed of hydraulic manipulators requires solutions to problems ranging from mechanical design to the need to determine a robot model suitable for model-based control. As a solution, this paper presents the integration of SolidWorks with Simscape for designing and controlling hydraulic manipulators. The integration provides a platform for the rapid control prototyping of a hydraulic robot without the need to build actual prototypes. The mechanical drawings of a manipulator are first created using Solidworks and are then imported into Simscape, where the manipulator is represented by connected block diagrams based on the principle of physical modeling. Simulation examples for a 3D manipulator made by KNR SYSTEM INC are verified to show the effectiveness of the presented platform.

        This paper aim at studying the sports injuries of Rugby football players, For the research, the representer of this study has implemented an actual field survey for the total 9 Rugby football teams and interviewed with an aggregate 245 players. This study surveys the cause, type, places, symptom, degree situation, first, and treatment of sports injuries. This paper come to the conclusion as follows. 1. The most frequently inflicted portion are revealed the leg part; 132(24.10%) out total 5477 and followed by the foot part; 1249(22.80%), Head parts; 1008(18.41%), arm part; 959(17.50%), thorax parts; 504(9.2%), etc. 2. The type of injuries the most type of injuries is skin injuries; 2195(40.01%) out of total 5477, and followed by the muscle and tendon injuries; 1455(25.57%), joint injuries; 1057(19.30%), Bone injuries; 407(7.43%), and the nervous sensibility & organ damage are the occupying the least number. 3. In case of skin injuries an abration take the lead with 752 recording 34.26% out of total 2195 and followed by laceration; 639 recording 29.11% ; blister 611 recording 27.84%, etc. 4. In case of muscle and tendon injuries a sprain of muscle take the lead with 430 recording 29.55% out of total 1455, and followed by the bruise of muscle; 374 recording 25.70%, cut of muscle ; 360 recording 24.74% muscle sturdiness ; 175 recording 13.03%, cut of tendon ; 116 recording 7.94 etc. 5. In case of bone injuries a bruise of bone take the lead with 206 recording 50.61% out of total 407, and followed by a bone fracture ; 188 recording 46.69%, periostitis ; 9 recording 2.01% etc. 6. In case of joint injuries internal and lateral ligament extentions cut take the lead with 324 recording 30.65% out of total 1057 and followed by a dislocation of joint ; 247 recording 23.37%, sprain of joint ; 198 recording 18.73, etc. 7. In case of the nervous sensibility organ damage neuralgia take the lead with 131 recording 36.09% out of total 363 and followed by palsi; 115 recording 31.68%, cerebral concussion; 79 recording 21.76%, etc. 8. The situation of suffering injuries while tackle motion; 964(17.60%), while run & dash; 765(13.97%), while Luck & maul; 532(9.71%), while saving & etc situation; 373(6.81%), etc. 9. The reason being inflicted owing to excessive & over training ; 1089 recording 13.91% out of total 5477. By being unskilled; 762(13.91%), by Badness of conditioning ; 751(13.71%), by the excessive desiring for victory; 709(12.90), etc. 10. The time being inflicted interexercise hits the highest number of 2551 recording 46.58% out of total 5477 and in case of injuries during practice game ; 1800 recording 32.86%, and regular game ; 1126 recording 20.56%. 11. The time suffering injuries afternoon time take lead with 4150 recording 75.77% out of total 5477 and in case of fore time ; 1125recording 20.54%, day breaktime ; 202recording 3.69%. 12. The season suffering injuries spring take the lead with 1685 recording 30.17% out of total 5477 and followed by summer ; 1521 recording 27.77%, winter; 1269 recording 23.17%, autumn ; 1002 recording 18.79%. 13. The treatment at that time of being inflicted, appling a sort of the mansoladum take the lead with 1685 recording 30.17 out of total 5477 and followed by attaching a sort of PAS ; 1747 recording 31.90%, Taping ; 587 recording 10.70%, Photographing x-ray ; 560 recording 10.20% etc. 14. The medication of post treatmant. The treatment by a medical specialist take the lead with 2490 recording 45.76% out of total 5477 and in case of self treatment ; 2043 recording 37.30%, by team collegue; 621 recording 11.34%, by coach and team director ; 323, recording 5.91%.

      • 亂溶性 水銀鹽의 熱的 性質과 選擇性 膜電極의 特性

        Insoluble Hg-Salts synthesized by method of co-precipitation according to the various reaction time and temperature were identified by using X-ray diffractometer and these thermal properties were checked by thermal analytical method. The responsive characteristics of the selective membrane electrodes which were made in order to determination of responsive potential in test solution were investicated by Digital Votmeter especially designed. The selective membrane electrodes were used as an indicating electrodes in the potentiometric titration of single atoms and mixing cations. The results are as follows: 1) The response potentials of the selective membrane electrodes were proportional to the activities of iodide, cyanide ion, d=orbital transitional elements in the concentration range of 10^-1-10^-7 M in the case coated with 1.0% P.V.C., but not to the ions of typical elements. 2) The Nernstian slope for ions of the transitional elements determined by exchange reaction and electrode reaction between chemical species and the selective membrane electrodes in the electrolytes were decreased in order of Hg^2+, Fe^2+, Ni^2+, Ni^2+ and Cu^2+.

        베이비 붐 세대의 고령사회대응 여가문화 미디어 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 기초연구

        최근 고령화 시대의 새로운 소비 계층으로 급부상하고 있는 ‘뉴시니어(New Senior)’는 경제적 여유를 바탕으로 적극적인 소비 활동을 영위하고 있으며, 특히 기존 시니어 층과는 달리 기본적인 정보화 기기의 기능적 조작 숙련도 및 IT 기술의 이해도가 높을 것으로 예측된다. 그에 따라 이들은 컴퓨터, 태블릿, PMP, 스마트 폰, 스마트 TV 등의 뉴미디어 기기를 이용하여 콘텐츠를 소비하며 여가시간의 대부분을 할애한다. 그러나 정보통신기술의 급속한 발전과 이러한 기술들이 반영된 디바이스들의 지속적 출시가 이루어지고 있는 현 시점에서, 고령 세대를 주요 대상으로 설계되지 않은 뉴미디어기기들은 뉴시니어의 기기 이용 상의 어려움과 불편함을 유발시킴으로써 결국 정보 탐색과 모바일 상에서 유통되고 있는 문화콘텐츠에의 접근성을 감소시킬 가능성이 높다. 그러므로 이는 고령층에 특화된 인터페이스, 디바이스, 기능성을 바탕으로 소비 경험이 확장된 콘텐츠 서비스의 필요성을 방증하고 있는 것이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 고령층의 뉴미디어기기 이용 기반 증가 추세를 볼 때, 현 시점에서는 디바이스 이용 및 조작에 익숙한 저 연령층과는 차별적인 양상의 콘텐츠 선호도, 뉴 디바이스 이용 숙련도가 나타날 것이라는 예측을 기반으로 고령층의 인터넷과 스마트 기기 같은 뉴미디어 디바이스 활용 양상을 전반적으로 파악하기 위해 현재 스마트폰을 이용 중인 45~60세의 대졸 이상 고학력자를 대상으로 한 정량적 실태조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과로 도출된 세 가지의 시사점은 1)스마트 기기에 대한 기능적 이해도와 숙련도 미흡, 2)스마트폰 기반 콘텐츠의 양적 확충과 프로모션의 필요성, 3)고령층에게 필요한 ‘재미있고 건전한 기능성 콘텐츠’의 개발 필요성으로 정리할 수 있다. ‘New Seniors’, those who recently emerged as one of the new type of consumers in aged society, are the groups of people with the tendency of brisk economic activity on the basis of economic affluence and with the capability of utilizing new media devices unlike the existing general elderly. Those new seniors seem likely to manage their time more on contents consumption by using the new technological commodities such as PC, Tablets, PMP, smartphone, smart TV, and etc. Under the rapid development in IT and the new release of cutting-edge technologies happening now, new media devices primarily targeting on the young generation would trigger difficulties and inconvenience to the seniors. And it seems certain that the seniors’problems those in use of the state-of-the-art devices would probably arouse the decrease in accessibility to digital culture contents resultingly. Then there found the necessity for technically and functionally senior-specialized contents service system. With regard to the growing tendency in utilizing new media devices of elderly people so far, there exist an assumption that differentiated aspects of the contents preference, the adeptness in new media device utilization between the seniors and the juniors those who actively accustom themselves to operating the new technological devices. Such being the case, the quantitative research in regard to the general grasp of the actual condition of the seniors’ use of new media including the internet and diverse smart-tech devices has been conducted aimed at the 45~60-year-old seniors, who obtain bachelor’s degree at minimum and now on the use of smartphones. The significant implications from the result analysis seem to be 1)Insufficiency of understanding and mastery skills in using functions of smart devices for now, 2)Necessity of the quantitative suppliance of contents as well as contents promotion, and 3)developmental need for interesting and healthy contents with multiple functions.

        모바일 플랫폼에서의 e-Book 콘텐츠 활성화 연구

        스마트폰과 태블릿 PC의 출시는 기존의 정체되어있던 전자책 시정에 새로운 활로를 열었다. 새로운 디지털 단말기의 대량 출시와 함께 e-Book콘텐츠의 수요도 늘어났으며, 동시에 각기 다른 단말기가 제시하는 형식에 맞추어 e-Book 콘텐츠를 제작하여야 하는 불편함이 생겼다. 이를 해결하고자 표준화 문제가 대두 되었으며 아직까지 명확한 표준화 지침이 세워지지 않은 상황이다 국내 e-Book 산업은 모바일로 대표되는 뉴미디어기기와 결합하여 새로운 시장이 창출되고 있다. e-Book콘텐츠의 시작점이자 주요 생산처인 국내 출판계는 종이책 산업의 비즈니스를 주로하고 e-Book 비즈니스를 등한시 하였다. 그러나 e-Book 시장에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있고 시장이 확산되는 상황에서, 출판계는 e-Book을 새로운 사업 모델로 인정하고 출판계 고유의 역할을 수행할 수 있는 새로운 역할을 찾아야만 한다. 변화하는 시장을 선도하기 위하여 기존의 출판 기획 및 자료들의 관리 체계를 디지털화 및 데이터베이스화 하고 저작권의 계약부터 e-Book의 출간을 동시에 고려하여야 할 것이다. 종이책의 느낌을 그대로 표현할 수 있는 디스플레이 방식이 첨단화 되어가고 있으며 LCD디스플레이와 e-Ink디스플레이의 장점을 융합한 단말기들이 계속 개발되고 있다. MP3플레이어 시장의 선례에서 보듯이 결국 기술의 발전을 통하여 단말기의 성능은 평준화 되어갈 것이고 해당산업의 주최는 단말기의 성능이 아닌 양질의 콘텐츠생산자가 주도할 것이다. A release of smartphone and tablet pc has consistently pioneered new routes in the stagnant e-Book industry. As it has been situationally predicted, demands for contents based on e-Book are remarkably increasing related to the mass production of anew digital devices. However, inconveniences have come to the fore when publishing those e-Book contents as a result of ununited standards from the various kinds of devices. The solution of the problem has continuously been up to the surface, but there is still no definite guidelines for standardization. The collaboration between domestic e-Book industry and new-media devices are creating new phase of market field. The internal publishing trade, the original source of e-Book contents, has mainly been concentrating on the existing paper-based book business. Therefore, from now on, the publishing businesses should acknowledge e-Book as a new profitable model and actively discover a method for conducting the original business. In order to lead unpredictable market in the near future, the management of previous planning and data are actually to be digitalized with the form of database, and are required to publish e-Book contents version in the moment of copyright contract. As time goes by, the display technology which have capacity of provide actual touch of paper-based books is on the way of high cutting-edge, the devices that acquire advantages from both LCD and e-ink display have been appearing in the market. As seen before in the MP3 player cases, technological quality of various digital devices are on the way of convergence into the similar level, and the quality-guaranteed contents provider will take a lead in the future market.
