        In this paper, we introduce the estimation models of road electric power generation by installing a piezo power generator using piezo effect. In addition, we propose an analysis system for piezo power generation including the estimation models of road electric power generation according to the traffic characteristics. The piezo power generator with 10cm thickness was laid underground down to a depth of about 5cm. In this paper, we focus on developing the estimation models of power generation efficiency variation according to the traffic characteristics using the average power generation of a bulk type"s piezo sensor. The traffic patterns are different based on the different places and times on roads. Thus, we developed the estimation models of piezo power generation by analyzing the representative traffic indexes such as flow, speed, and vehicle types. Moreover, the developed estimation models are equipped on our analysis system by which we present specific methods for simple operations.

      • Characteristics of Floating Photovoltaic Power Generation Based on Probability Statistics

        In order to analyze the accurate power generation characteristics of the floating photovoltaic (PV) system, the same 2.5kW PV systems are installed on the surface of Dam water and the near ground, and the performance is compared. The output characteristics of the floating PV power generation according to the change of water temperature is analyzed by using the probability statistical technique in detail, and it is verified that the low temperature of the floating PV system module is caused by the cooling effect of water surface. From the comparative study between them, it is confirmed that the floating PV module temperature is lower than that of land based PV, so that the efficiency of the floating PV power generation is higher than that of the grounding PV power generation.

      • 리니어엔진을 이용한 파워팩의 운전조건에 따른 연소특성과 발전출력의 최적화에 관한 연구

        The research shows the experimental results of the powerpack for optimization of combustion characteristics and generating power according to operating conditions. The powerpack used in this research consists of 2-stroke linear engine, linear generator and air compressor parts and was used for confirming the generating power. For identifying the combustion characteristics and generating power of linear engine, fuel input calorie, spark timing delay, equivalence ratio, electric load and air gap length was varied respectively. Also generating power was confirmed at each operating conditions. During the all experiments, intake air was inputted under the wide open throttle. Mass flow ratio of air and fuel were changed by using mass flow controller. Thereafter, fuel and air was premixed by the premixture device. The pre-mixed gas was supplied directly into front and rear cylinder of the linear engine. As a result, piston frequency in-cylinder pressure were varied at each conditions according to parameters affecting the combustion such as fuel input calorie, resistive load, spark timing delay and equivalence ratio. Consequently, these had an effect on generating power.

        권력 다양성 관점에서 세대 간 차이에 관한 연구: 「2017 서울시도시정책지표」의 성공에 대한 인식을 중심으로

        이 연구는 세대 간 중요하게 생각하는 힘은 다르다라고 생각하여 세대 간 갈등의 근간은 무엇인가라는 주제로 시작하였다. 성공이라는 가치는 사회의 상위계층이 점유한 것(thing)이라 생각할 때 이를 권력의 요소라 간주하였다. 이러한 관점에서 각 세대가 생각하는 성공과 성공을 위한 주요 가치 즉 권력에는 차이가 있다고 바라보았다. 최근 제안된 이론 모형에 기초해 권력을 개인적 차원, 제도적 차원, 사회적 차원으로 구분하고자 하였다. 권력의 다양성 한 측면을 종속변인으로 간주하고, 독립변인으로써 생애주기적 측면과 한국의 세대적 측면으로 구분하여 통계적 분석을 시도하였다. 분석방법은 서열로짓을, 자료는 서울서베이 2017 성공의 중요요인과 관련 설문문항을 활용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 우선 한국의 세대적 관점에서 밀레니얼세대에 비해 전후세대는 권력이란 야망, 성실성, 좋은 인맥으로 요약될 수 있었다. 586세대는 기존 시각과 다르게 부유한 집안, 부모의 교육수준 등 부정적 지표에서 성공의 요소라고 인식하였다. 다음으로, 생애주기 차원에서 20대 이하의 어린 연령에 비해 연령대가 높아질수록 부유한 집안, 성별의 차이, 정치연고, 뇌물공여 등이 더 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 20대 이하라는 열정 및 도전의식에 대한 관점과 사회의 구조적 문제로부터 자유롭기 때문이 아닌가 유추하였다. This study began with the theme of what is the basis of conflict between generations, thinking that the forces that are important between generations are different. The value of success was considered an element of power when it was considered that it was occupied by the upper classes of society. From this point of view, each generation saw a difference in the main value of success and success, or power. Based on the recently proposed theoretical model, we wanted to distinguish power from personal, institutional, and social dimensions. The diverse aspects of power are considered subordinate variables, and statistical analysis is attempted by dividing them into life-cycle aspects as independent variables and generational aspects of Korea. The analysis method was sequenced, and the data used important factors and related questionnaires for the success of Seoul Survey 2017. The analysis results are as follows. First of all, compared to the millennials in Korea, the postwar generation could be summed up by the ambition of power, sincerity, and good connections. The 586 generation recognized success as an element of success in negative indicators such as the education level of wealthy families and parents, unlike the previous view. Next, it was confirmed that the higher the age group compared to the younger people in their 20s or younger, the higher the number of wealthy families, gender differences, political affiliation, and bribery. It is inferred that this is because it is free from the perspective of passion and sense of challenge and the structural problems of society.

        Photovoltaic Power Generation system occupies an important position as an alternative energy source, converting directly sunlight into electricity, using a photovoltaic cell.The Purpose of this research is to present and confirm the effectiveness of concentration and tracking of sun in photovoltaic power generation. Comparative experiments were carried out with two rating 75 watt solar modules in 25℃ under condition of various times concentration, tracking and plain normal measuring generated voltages, currents and temperatures of back sheet of modules by internet monitoring system to find out which is best in economic sense. The experiments show that output power of concentration and tracking photovoltaic power generation is over180% more then that of plain normal system.

        자유수평축 조류발전 시스템의 3차원 유동특성

        Flow characteristics of a free-horizontal-ax is-turbine (FHAT) current power generation system have been investigated by the use of a volumetric PTV. Three types of FHAT system (S50, SE50, S65) have been tested under the current speed 1.35 knot, 1.5 knot and 2 knot. The width of the blade installed around the body is 50 ㎜. Based upon the power generation characteristics of the FHAT, the flow features of the blade have been investigated. Among the three models it has been verified that the S65 is the most appropriate for power generations.

        Topology Characteristics and Generation Models of Scale-Free Networks

        The properties of a scale-free network are little known; its node degree following a power-law distribution is among its few known properties. By selecting real-field scale-free networks from a network dataset and comparing them to other networks, such as random and non-scale-free networks, the topology characteristics of scale-free networks are identified. The assortative coefficient is identified as a key metric of a scale-free network. It is also identified that most scale-free networks have negative assortative coefficients. Traditional generation models of scale-free networks are evaluated based on the identified topology characteristics. Most representative models, such as BA and Holme&Kim, are not effective in generating real-field scale-free networks. A link-rewiring method is suggested that can control the assortative coefficient while preserving the node degree sequence. Our analysis reveals that it is possible to effectively reproduce the assortative coefficients of real-field scale-free networks through link-rewiring.

        A Method for Reducing the Number of Metal Layers for Embedded LSI Package

        We have successfully demonstrated a high-pin-count and thin embedded-LSI package to realize next generation's mobile terminals. The following three design key points were applied: (i) Using Cu posts, (ii) Using the coreless structure, (iii) Using a Cu plate as the ground plane. In order to quantitatively determine the contribution of the three points, the five-stage process for reducing the number of metal layers is described by means of the electrical simulation. The point-(i) and (ii) are effective from the viewpoint of the power integrity (PI); that is, these points play important roles in reducing the number of metal layers, and especially the point-(ii) contributes at least twice as the point-(i). The point-(iii) is not effective in the PI, but has a few effects on the signal integrity (SI). For reducing the number of metal layers, we should, at first, pay attention whether the PI characteristics fulfill the specification, and then we should confirm the SI characteristics.

        Design and Testing of a Mechanical Power Take-off System for Rolling-type Wave Energy Converter

        Salter’s Duck can convert wave energy to mechanical energy with high efficiency up to 90%. The limitations and challenges in the usage of Salter’s Duck for energy production include preventing hydraulic system from the risk of leaking hydraulic oil and removing complex huge fixed bracket. This paper presents the conceptual design and an experimental investigation of a mechanical power-take-off (PTO) system for the floating Salter’s Duck. The PTO system is fully installed inside of the Salter’s Duck. It consists of double counter-rotating flywheels converting the bi-directional rotation of the wave energy converter into a stable unidirectional rotation that drives a rotary generator to produce electricity. The bi-to-unidirectional function is achieved through inertial wheels, thus the novel PTO system is free of large supporting structures and hydraulic cylinders. In this paper, a detailed conceptual PTO design is proposed firstly. Further, the influence of the swing amplitude and rotation period of the wave energy converter on the power extraction efficiency is investigated. Then, the influence of the electrical load on the power-extraction efficiency is researched. In the end, the effect of the speed increasing ratio on the mechanical efficiency is examined. The experimental results show that the new type of generator mechanism can produce electricity stably.
