총체적 언어 접근법에 의한 문학 텍스트 “春香傳”의 읽기교육 연구

외국어교육의 궁극적인 목표는 시대적 요구인 의사소통 능력이라는 듣기·말하기·읽기·쓰기의 기본적인 네 가지 기능을 실제 상황에서 얼마나 자유롭게 사용할 수 있느냐에 달려있다. 본고에서는 현행 대학기관의 한국어교육 통합교재 중에서 공통으로 다뤄진 문학 서사텍스트 “춘향전”의 읽기교육을 언어의 기능들과 연계하여 내용 파악과 맥락의 이해를 효율적으로 교육할 수 있는 “총체적 언어 접근법”으로 그 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 총체적 언어 접근법은 통합된 언어과정으로, 학습자 위주로 개인의 필요와 흥미에 맞도록 기능적으로 학습하고자 한다. 따라서 학습의 원리는 의미 이해를 중심으로 전체에서 부분으로 접근하며, 실제적인 자연스런 언어학습을 강조한다. 또한 학습자의 능동적 상호작용을 통해 교수-학습이 이루어진다. The successful attainment of the ultimate goal of foreign language education depends on how well the learner is able to perform the four functions of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, which are the basic communication competencies required to function in society, in real life situations. The purpose of this study is to examine the whole language approach as an efficient method of reading education for "Chunhyang-jeon," which is a literary narrative text that every integrated Korean language college textbook deals with. It is specifically meant to teach the functions of language to help learners acquire an accurate semantic and contextual understanding of the text. The whole language approach is an integrated language learning process, and learner-centered functional learning was planned for this study considering individual needs and interests. The principle of learning was to understand the whole meaning of the text, and then the meaning of the parts; natural language learning was stressed. In addition, positive interaction among learners was emphasized to ensure successful teaching and learning.
