신채호 시의 구조화 방식

신채호 시에 대한 연구는 드물다. 또한 기존 연구들은 그의 사상적 맥락에 대한 주석으로 시를 해석하거나 계열화하는 데 그쳤다. 이 논문은 외재적 특질로 내재적 특질을 포괄하는 방식을 탈피하여 반대로 내재적 특질을 축출하고 분석함으로써 시적 의미가 형성되는 과정을 살피고자 한다. 이를 위해 신채호 시의 구조화 방식으로 사용된 비유 체계에 주목하여 시적 발화 양상을 고찰함으로써 시적 주체가 지향하는 바를 추적하였다. 신채호는 주체를 자연물과 동일시하는 방법을 통해 시를 의미화한다. 우선 그는 '자연물 들기'라는 은유적 구성을 통해 자연물과 시적 주체의 간접적인 동일시를 이룸으로써 시적 주체의 각성을 견인하고자 한다. 이는 자연물의 주체화라고 명명할 수 있는데 이 과정에서는 글쓰기 행위에 대한 반성이 반영되기도 한다. 또한 그는 '자연물 되기'라는 상징적 구성을 통해 자연물과 시적 주체의 직접적인 동일시를 성립시킴으로써 시적 주체의 실천을 종용하고자 한다. 이는 주체의 자연물화라고 명명할 수 있는데 이 과정에서는 순결한 희생을 통해 실천을 추동하는 제의적 경향이 나타나기도 한다. 이러한 분석은 신채호의 사상적 전개가 민족주의에서 무정부주의에 이르기까지 급격하게 선회되는 과정으로만 해석되지 않는다는 것을 보여준다. 자연물은 어떤 조직적 지도체계에 의해 작동되지 않고 자연물 간의 상호영향이 자연스럽게 구축하는 자존적 질서에 의해 움직이는 것이다. 그것은 세계의 갱신이 구성원 개별 주체 각각의 각성과 실천에 의해 이루어질 수밖에 없다는 시적 전언과 맞물려 그의 사상적 경향이 보다 다양한 회로 속에서 전개되었음을 유추하게 한다. There are few research on the poems of Shin Chaeho. If there are, researchers just interpret or categorize his poems as an explanation for his ideological background. This paper does not adopt the method by which extrinsic characteristics embraces intrinsic ones. Instead, I am going to review the procedure how poetic connotations are developed in his poems by extracting analyzing intrinsic characteristics in his poems. For that purpose, I traced the orientation of poetic subject by reviewing how a poem is inspired in him, paying attention to metaphoric structure he used in his poems as a method of structuralization. Shin signifies his poems by identifying subject with natural objects. First, he tries to let poetic subject awakened by identifying natural objects with poetic subject indirectly through metaphoric structuralization called 'putting up natural objects'. It could be named as 'making natural objects subject', during which introspection for writing is reflected. In addition, he tries to coax practice of poetic subject by identifying natural objects with poetic subject directly through symbolic structuralization called 'becoming natural objects'. It can be named as 'becoming natural objects of subjects', during which ritual inclination tends to appear which draws practice through pure sacrifice. Such analysis shows that Shin's ideological development is not just interpreted as a procedure in which it is radically turned from nationalism to anarchism. Natural object doesn't work according to certain systemic leadership, but moves according to self-existential order in which coeffect between natural objects is constructed naturally. It makes us infer that Shin's thought was developed in more diversified circuit connected with poetic message that renewal of the world cannot but happen according to the enlightenment and practice of individual subject of members.

기획논문 : 신채호 문학과 인문콘텐츠의 상관성 연구 -시 작품을 중심으로-

이 논문은 호서명현 가운데 한 사람인 단재 신채호 시의 특성과 그것을 문화콘텐츠로 활용할 방안에 대한 연구이다. 단재는 19세기 후반에서 20세기 초에 활동했던 개량주의적 유학자로서 애국계몽 운동과 독립 운동을 열정적으로 실천한 인물이다. 그는 시인이었을 뿐만 아니라 소설가, 언론인, 역사학자, 독립운동가 등으로 활발한 활동을 했다. 이 논문의 내용은 두 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 단재의 시는 근대문학으로서의 선구적 의미를 고찰했다. 단재의 시는 우선 애국계몽과 유교사상을 주제로 하였다는 점에서 선구적이다. 애국계몽은 근대적 민족국가의 추구와 연관되며, 유교사상은 그러한 애국계몽을 정신적 뒷받침 역할을 했다. 또한 단재의 시는 근대적 언어 의식을 보여준다는 점에서 선구적이다. 그는 한자와 한글이 혼용되던 시대에 근대적 차원의 한글의 중요성을 강조했다. 뿐만 아니라 단재의 시는 “님”과 “피”의 근대적 의미를 상징적으로 형상화했다. 근대시에서 강조되는 비유적, 감각적 이미지를 충실하게 보여준 것이다. 둘째, 단재의 시와 생애, 역사 연구서들은 여러 가지 측면에서 문화콘텐츠로 활용할 가치가 있다. 단재는 진정한 의미의 인문학자로서 문학, 역사, 철학의 분야에서 고루 많은 업적을 남겼는데, 이들은 문화콘텐츠로 활용하기에 아주 유용한 원천자료이다. 이를테면 그의 시나 소설에서 서사적 요소들을 추출하여 SNS콘텐츠나 영상예술 콘텐츠, 게임 콘텐츠 등에 활용할 수 있다. 또는 그의 생애와 시, 소설의 공간적 배경을 문화관광 콘텐츠로 개발할 만하다. 특히 그의 생가지는 충청지역의 선비문화나 축제와 연계하여 관광지로 활성화할 필요가 있다. 그가 한때 독립운동을 했던 북경, 상해. 만주 지역 등도 역사체험 여행을 위한 문화관광 콘텐츠로 활용할 만하다. 이 논문은 ‘원 소스 멀티 유스(One Source Multi use)’라는 문화콘텐츠의 기본적 패러다임으로 단재의 업적들을 분석했다. 원천 자료로서의 시나 소설, 역사서, 생애 등에 관해 분석을 한 다음, 그것을 문화콘텐츠로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 살펴본 것이다. 아쉬운 것은 문화콘텐츠와 관련된 구체적이고 기술적인 방안들을 더 다양하게 제시하지 못했다는 점이다. This paper studies on how to use poems of Danjae, Shin Chaho to develop cultural contents. Danjae, a representative intellectual, novelist, historian, independence activist as well as a poet in the late 19th century of Korea, actively participated in the enlightenment and independent movement during the Japanese Colonial Era. This paper consists of two parts: First, it examines pioneering modern poetic meanings of Danjae``s literary world. His poems are in the forefront in terms of their themes that embrace nationalism, enlightenment and confucianism. The themes of nationalism and enlightenment are related to ideas on modern nation-states. Confucianism plays a role as a philosophical support for his nationalism and enlightenment. Also, his poems present modern consciousness on language. In the period when people used Chinese characters and Korean letters together, he emphasized the importance of Korean language. Also, his poems symbolize modern images of “love” and “blood.” They strongly show the figurative and sensual images that modern poems emphasize. Second, Danjae``s poems, life, and history books can be used as cultural contents in many aspects. Danjae as a true humanities scholar wrote many books on literature, history and philosophy. They are original sources that can be developed as cultural contents. For example, epic narratives of his poems and novels can be developed as movies, webtoons, and computer games. In addition, his hometown, or locations described in his poem and novels can be developed as tourist attractions. In particular, his birthplace, Chungcheong area has a possibility to develop cultures of Confucius Scholars as a festival and to attract many tourists. Also, the places like Beijing, Shanghai, and Manchuria where he participated in independence movement can be historic and cultural attractions where the young generation can learn the Korean history as well as his literary achievements. This paper analyzes Danjae``s achievements by a cultural contents paradigm called ‘One Source Multi-Use’. It examines how original sources such as poems, novels, history books and biographies are analyzed and utilized as cultural contents. Further studies will present more specific methods on how literary texts, stories and materials on their writers can be developed as cultural contents.

시조 〈샌량쓰 불상을 보고〉와 신채호의 내면 -샌량쓰, 전단불상, 눈물-

본 연구에서는 단재 신채호의 흥미로운 시조 〈샌량쓰 불상을 보고〉를 분석하여 다음 세 가지를 집중 규명하였다. ① 답사 시 제일 중요한 기초가 위치 확정이다. 본 연구는 샌량쓰의 위치를 씬뚱안(新東安)시장에서 삥짠후퉁(氷盞胡同)으로 바로 잡았다. ② 시조의 초장에 등장하는 샌량쓰의 불상이 일반 좌불이 아니라 전신 입상인 전단불상(栴檀佛象)임을 밝혔다. 이 불상은 없어졌지만, 이와 유사한 전단불상으로는 북경 홍런쓰(宏仁寺) 전단불상의 사진이 남아 있고, 실물로는 북경 용허궁(雍和宫)의 전단불상을 소개하였다. ③ 〈샌량쓰 불상을 보고〉에서 “시의 눈[詩眼]”이 되는 것은 종장의 “눈물”이며, 이것이 리홍장(李鴻章)의 죽음과 관계되는 것임을 밝혔다. 마지막으로 초장(初章)의 “퉁부처”가 “통부처”일 가능성을 제기하고, 북의 인민대학습당에 보관되어 있는 것으로 추정되는 〈샌량쓰 불상을 보고〉의 원본 확인이 필요하다고 밝혔다. In this study, through the analysis of Shijo 〈Looking at the Buddha of Xiánliángci〉 by Shin Chae-ho(申采浩), the following three aspects are intensively investigated: First, this study fixes the most fundamental basis of exploration, a location; changing the correct location of Xiánliángci from the Shindongan(新東安) market to Bingjan Hutong(氷盞胡同). Second, this study clarifies the statue of the Buddha appearing in the first verse of Shijo as the Sandalwood Buddha(栴檀佛象). Although this statue is disintegrated, the paper introduces remainders, a similar Sandalwood Buddha illustration at the Hongrensi(宏仁寺) in Beijing, and actual statues at Yonghegong(雍和宫) in Beijing. Third, this study also clarifies that the “eye of poem”(詩眼) is the “tear” at the last verses of the Sijo poem, relates to the death of Li Hongzhang(李鴻章). Lastly, the paper reveals the importance on verifying the original document in order to find if the “tung-Buddha(퉁부처)” in the first verse is the “tong-Buddha(통부처)”. Looks forward to the possibility of investigating the original material of 〈Looking at the Buddha of Xiánliángci〉, which is believed to be preserved the People’s Great Study Hall(인민대학습당) in North-Korea.

사회등가사 저자로서의 신채호

Sahwedeung-gasa had been published in The Korea Daily News since 10 ecember 1907. At that time, Danjae Shin Chae-ho was working as the chie editor of that newspaper. The 493 pieces of Sahwedeung-gasa were published moved to China. Later, 55 pieces of Sahwedeung-gasa were published in the same newspaper until the ceasing of newspaper. However, compare to theealier works, the later Gasas’ length is not only shorter but also it isremarkably poor from the aspect of critical strength and aesthetical value. Previous researchers have been established the fact that the writer of Sahwedeung-gasa was an editorial group of The Korea Daily News. However, they have estimated Danjae’s works not in the less numbers. But they could not find any authentic evidence for unearthing his literary works. Therefore researchers could not reach on the outcome. In this paper, I have tried to unearth the works of Danjae through a comparative analysis about Sahwedeung-gasa and Danjae’s intellectualities, ideologies and literary styles etc. Thus, I have discovered almost 30 pieces of his works related to theseries of mantra for chasing evils and the poetry of evocation etc. Danjae was the founder of Sahwedeung-gasa, and he criticized and satirized the society as well as putted his heart feelings through the Gasas. However, the discovered works of this article do not pass through the parts of Danjae’s Gasas. There are more Gasas existing in the same newspaper apart from these works. I expect for the meaningful and in-depth discussions on these works in the future.
