        중국 BIM 표준의 현황과 특성에 관한 사례 분석

        The Standard for BIM in Construction of China was released in 2017. The Unified Standard for BIM of China also took effects on 2017. The BIM standards of China needs to be compared with those related guidelines of Korea to find the status and characteristics for future development of BIM application in both countries’ construction industries. The research methodology is a case study of comparing various standards of both countries. The case study results reveals many interesting issues for future BIM application and guidelines for practice of design and construction process. The research foundings include followings : LOD (Level of development) are well defined including LOD 350 in Chinese Standard. P-BIM(Practice based BIM) concepts and series of standards are set for the welldefined design and construction process by work stage in China. Korean standards shows more processes of design and documentation in detail. Major three aspects, particularity in BIM standard by work trade, practicality in BIM work process of design and construction, and professionality in subjects of BIM application, are analyzed and compared with various Guidelines of BIM in both countries.

        공공시설 발주자 관점에서의 BIM 적용 현황 및 개선방안 연구 - 한국전력공사 나주 신사옥 건립공사 사례를 중심으로 -

        The application of the BIM for the KEPCO' new headquarters in Naju involved alternative approaches and accompanied many trials-and-errors as the project adopted new targets and purposes that were not used in Korea before. In particular, for a large BIM-based project, clearly defining the BIM-including the objective, scope and the outcome-is critical for a project owner. For a successful implementation, project owners should improve the utilization of the BIM. Against this background, this research examines the case of the BIM application for the KEPCO' new headquarters in Naju, identifies its effects and problems, and proposes how to improve application of the BIM for public projects. The improvement in the BIM application can be divided into several stages: project order, design development, construction, and post-construction maintenance. In the initial stage, it is important to fully discuss the project planning among participants, and clarify the goal, scope, expected outcomes and role of the BIM. In the design stage, the level of detail (LOD) for the 3D model should be defined in consideration of information use in the stages of estimation and construction. In the construction stage, the scope of project that is managed based on the processing and use of the BIM data should be clearly given and understood. After construction is complete, measures should be sought to use the BIM for maintenance, and corresponding requirements and outcomes should be provided. The analysis is expected to provide basic data for successful implementation of BIM-based public projects, by assisting project owners and involved parties in enhancing work in different stages of a project.

        Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital facility representation of the physical and functional characteristics, and is the process of creating, using, and maintaining shared knowledge resources as a tool for making decisions throughout the facility s life cycle. The expected benefits from the early introduction of BIM were ideal, but large construction companies, which initially invested a lot of money, are also cutting costs and are looking for alternatives with Small-BIM. In order to introduce BIM without failure, medium-sized construction companies(MSCC) lacking expertise, financial strength, and organizational capacity compared to large corporations, this study examines the introduction cases of MSCC and suggests obstacles and solutions to those problems. 1. Current market situation of BIM - The stage of re-examination of the BIM field, 2. Application of BIM to MSCC - Minimizing the risk. 3. Barriers to introducing BIM - Initial investment cost, additional work, professional manpower, lack of information, etc. 4. Solutions to the obstacles to introducing BIM - Selection of programs and systems, how to establish relations with the field management, how to secure BIM personnel, etc. 5. BIM Utilization of MSCC - Daehan Steel, Digital Design Lab, etc. 6. IS-Dongseo BIM - Pilot Project, Tool Selection, TFT Operation, Future Plans, etc. 빌딩정보모델링(BIM)은 시설물의 물리적, 기능적 특성을 디지털로 표현한 것이며, 시설의 생애주기 전반에 건친 의사 결정을 위한 도구로써 공유 지식 리소스를 생성, 사용 및 유지하는 프로세스이다. 초기의 BIM의 도입으로 인한 예상된 이익은 매우 이상적이었으나 초기에 많은 비용을 투자했던 대형건설업체들도 비용을 축소하고 있으며 스몰빔으로 대안을 찾고 있다. 대기업에 비해 전문가, 자금력, 조직 여력이 부족한 중소건설업체가 실패 없이 BIM을 도입하기 위해서 본연구에서는 중견업체 도입 사례들 검토하고 도출되었던 장애요인과 해소방안을 제시하고자 한다.         이 연구는 한국도로공사 Ex-BIM 설계 적용사례와 적용효과의 분석결과에 의한 Ex-BIM 가이드라인과 표준도를 작성하여 서울-세종 고속도로에 적용하였다. 또한 적용성과품에 대한 검증절차와 시공시 활용방안에 대해 연구하여 시공과 유지관리 Ex-BIM을 개발하는데 그 목적을 두었다. This study was performed to apply Ex-BIM guidelines and standards based on the results of the design application and construction case of Korea Expressway Corporation Ex-BIM. It was applied to Seoul-Sejong Expressway. Also it was looked at construction and maintenance Ex-BIM by reviewing the verification procedures for the application development and application plan of construction.

        As interest for visualization and real time processing of construction management information was heightened recently, a diversity of management tools have been developed and corresponding systems also have been changed. In the case of BIM(Building Information Modeling) which is being spotlighted as such kind of management tool, its outcome such as technical innovation and time saving through overseas success case, reducing effect of unnecessary work, and so forth has continuously been established. The BIM in which various information related with life cycle of project are managed with the base of 3D object is useful as an information management tool of construction project which becomes complex and large in its scale. The aim of this paper is analysis or reliability on BIM design for expressway. To solve these issues, this study analyzes the design document, road design handbook, guide. Also this paper performed analysis of reliability 2D vs. BIM quantity calculation. This pilot projects "BIM design at Daegu expressway Lot No.5" lays the foundation for future work on BIM based civil engineering design.

        BIM 기반 견적 산출을 위한 공종별 BIM 데이터 구축 및 연계 방안

        BIM technology, which is widely used in the construction industry, has been introduced in various fields for the purpose of saving construction cost and reducing construction schedule. However, in the case of BIM-based cost estimate, there are various trials and errors in applying BIM technology which can be applied for calculating quantity and cost estimate. BIM-based cost estimate can improve the quantity accuracy and allow to easy modifications that were not expected in 2D-based construction process. However, for this purpose, it is necessary to take into consideration that interoperability between BIM data and cost information should be planed in advance. Besides, the definition of a BIM data specification is also required for the seamless data exchange and integrity in each phase of the construction process. Therefore, in this study, we propose a BIM - based cost estimation method and technology in each type of work applicable to the current domestic construction industry.

        실시설계단계 BIM과 도면의 정합성 검토를 위한 체크리스트 개발

        The consistency between a building information model(BIM) and drawings are very important and has a critical impact on the usage of BIM throughout the project life-cycle. The purpose of this study is to develop a checklist for the consistency check between BIM and drawings. In this research, requirements for drawings in the construction documentation phase were analyzed. In generating drawings based on BIM, a checklist can help practitioners confirm what to modify in the BIM model and what to modify in CAD drawings. Finally, it is expected that the work efficiency will be improved by reducing the unnecessary work by distinguishing the elements that can be extracted from the BIM model from the elements that requires additional works when generating BIM-based drawings.

        소규모 건축공사의 BIM 정보 활용을 위한 프로세스 제안 - 철골공사 중심으로 -

        The current study focused on the utilization of building information modeling (BIM) data in steel-frame structures, which help to reduce project durations because they employ prefabricated structural members that are assembled on-site. In addition, a business process model was proposed using BIM data collected during the preconstruction, structural steel fabrication, and on-site construction phases of an actual steel-frame project. The ultimate expectation is that BIM data support at each phase, as well as the increased understanding among project participants, will result in an increase in project management productivity. The results from the current study are summarized as follows: To implement a BIM capable of application to steel-frame projects and data utilization, existing theories were studied to develop the construction project steps, both generally into the preconstruction (A1), steel fabrication (A2), and on-site construction phases, (A3) and specifically into 19 BIM-applicable phases. Based on the derived BIM-applicable phases, the model elements of the BIM object were identified, and the shortcomings of existing steel-frame projects were ameliorated, resulting in an improved data flow model. Moreover, for the proposed BIM data flow to progress efficiently, the BIM specialist needs to be well-acquainted with the phase-specific three-dimensional (3D) model output, and the infrastructure to construct an error-free 3D model must be provided. Based on the actual construction example, the BIM data utilized steel-frame projects - via production reports, clash checks, two-dimensional (2D) drawings, four-dimensional (4D) simulations, and 3D scanning - to make cooperation and communication among participants easier.

        BIM 가이드라인 개발에 관한 연구

        최근 BIM이 도입되면서 BIM가이드라인의 필요성이 대두되고 있으며 국내외 모두 BIM 도입 결정이 후 BIM 가이드라인을 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 건축 분야의 BIM 가이드라인을 개발 하고자 하였으며 이를 위해 BIM의 이론적 고찰과 해외 가이드라인 사례를 분석하여 BIM 가이드라인의 역할 및 개발 방향을 설정 하였다. 분석 결과 가이드라인의 역할은 (1) BIM 적용의 유도 및 확장 (2) BIM을 적용한 업무프로세스 지원 (3) 분야 간 협업방식 지원 및 개선 (4) 건설 정보의 표준화 구현 (5) BIM 활용 기술에 대한 기술적 지원으로 구분 할 수 있으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 가이드라인, 표준, 매뉴얼의 각각의 역할을 구분하여 가이드라인의 구체적인 개발 방향을 설정하였다. 이중 핵심 사항으로 BIM의 업무 범위를 명확히 할 수 있는 BIM 프로세스, 단계별 정보 수준, 적용 범위 등에 대하여 초점을 두고 국내 설계단계별 업무를 토대로 그 내용을 제시하였다. A recent introduction of BIM has raised a necessity for BIM guidelines and guidelines following the decision about the BIM introduction are being present both home and abroad. This study hereby intended to develop BIM guidelines to the architectural field, for which the role and development directives of BIM guidelines were set up based on BIM concepts and examples of foreign guidelines. As a result, the role of guideline in (1)Activation of BIM (2)Support BIM process (3)Support and enhance collaboration (4)Standardized implementation of construction information (5)Technical support for BIM utilizing technology. It also classified the role of each guideline, standard and manual to establish detailed development directives. Besides, regarding the BIM process to clarify the goal to share among participants, information levels per stage and applicable scopes, for the sake of when to introduce BIM and how to use it properly, their contents were suggested in consideration of applicable BIM technologies based on business for each design stage at home.
