        The primary goal of the commercial sports center which is a mean to broaded the leisure sports is to make profit. However without establishing comprehensive theory of operating management, it is hardly to be successful. I keep this in my mind through the all process of the study. 1. To satisfy the customer's need with sports activity, study of the theory in this field organizational and operational management, program and the education of the staff and trainers are required. 2. We can categorize the type of sports center by demand condition, location, facility installed, ownership style, the scale of the facility and operation type. Also by membership or membership fee or sometimes both of them, it can be divided. 3. Since 1999, the number of the sports center increased dramatically, reaching to 184 at the moment. Ninety-six of them are located in Seoul, twenty-nine in Kyonggi-do Province, fifteen in Pusan, eight in Taegu and in Incheon. As we see, most of the sports centers are situated in the big cities. 4. The most crucial thing for customer is the quality of service they get. Service marketing strategies such as introduction of mew facility model, are needed to maximize people's involvement in sports activity. 5. Service is intangible and abstract, which makes it hard to convince the customer with service. Therefore research project should be dome to shorten this gap.

      • 스포츠 전공 분야 정보화를 위한 단계별 연구

        The objects of this study are investigating the important educating points and systematic step of education in e-business time. I examined the most important parts and priority of education in the curriculum of management information, management science, and management information of the business administration department. As a result, electronic business transactions, construction of global database, management system, and system environment by prototyping method are considered the most suitable information of management industry. The education of informed sports industry management is important in the meaning of hardware as well as software. So I suggest the following staged education methods. First, systematic establishment of structural base in the information-oriented sports management Second, understanding of tool for the information-oriented sports management Third, education that is related with the application of basic program which is most commonly usee in computer system Fourth, application of package program that is based in global database Fifth, development of basic software Sixth, organization of contents that is used the developed software in internet Seventh, construction and application of sports database which used account service Eighth, education that used mining method of staged real data. All the while education of sports management information is concentrated to equipment, sports products, hardware, so competitive power of software was low For the continuous development of sports management information, insurance of consumer relationship management (CRM) that include win-win-win strategy as well as development of hardware should be used.

      • 향후 10년 후 스포츠 클럽의 장래 예측에 관한 연구

        Since 1990s, Korea has been developing surprisingly the area of the sports club and now the area is a state of almost bringing to completion. Many researchers, engaged men in the business, and the club members related with sports club have gotten interested with the following questions. When is the sports club going to hold its development? When will be the state of the top? Besides the sports business environment with the sports club which is grown up is very different from those of the past Its part is also very necessary to a variety of marketing activities not only for promoting to keep and increase the members of the sports club, but also for competing intensively. This kind of changes in the market environment has been different according to no vacancy resulted in the increase of the sports club’s members, the changes of the customers’ consciousness, the demand increase of the outdoor sports activities progressing from the past indoor sports, the increase of spare time because of working five days a week, and participation in the sports activities according to making use of people’s spar time. Unfortunately national market environment of the sports club has been declined due to the uncertain market environment throughout domestic and foreign countries, a war between the U.S.A. and Iraq, and the nuclear crisis of the North Korea. However crisis is the very opportunity. It is time to make a new market paradigm in order to live in the difficult situations, preparing to equip some facilities and tools for sports club, developing more competitive programs, offering services for customer satisfaction. In the study, in the target for the managers of the sports club and executives, some research was carried out previously anticipated prospects and future sports club’s positive changes in order to survive as a competitive sports club which is for anticipating the environment of the sports club more exactly and for preparing those situations.

      • 21세기 스포츠 콘덴츠 비중과 비즈니스 전망

        Sport plays an important role as a new generation in media communications and it is able to control our generation. It is also important to build up various sport contents. Sport unite with media and then we regard it as a socially and economically important thing. Sport and Media or television combine. In addition, we should study international technology(IT) in relation to sport. It is worthy to be considered. For example, in the Sydney olympic and World cup, we have realized how high the fee of broadcast. It proves that sport has unlimited perspicacity. Since we connected the sport with the media, we have got a lot of success in this field. The sport would be the most expensive resources in the global village, connecting with data broadcasting and internet broadcasting. No matter how the sport has developed quickly by now, this study would be just first step in the period of digital. In this paper we don’t discuss only sport in the period of digital. There’s something to continue to study in relation to media and broadcast. The purpose of this study is that we will examine and analyse sport which leads the digital, systematically.

      • 스포츠 산업 경영의 전망과 미래적 추이 분석

        When we see the modem structure of industry, we’d like to analyse the future and the view of the Sports management with the science. The purpose of this study is that we propose materials in order to improve the quality of human’s life and the management of sports industry. 1. There are a lot of following problems in our future world; environmental pollution, the advancement of science, comparative social circumstances, the variety of value judgement. So it is necessary to study deeply about sports industry and sports management. 2. The scale of sports is so enormous that sports activity plays an important role in human’s leisure and influences on the sports industry. At the same time we have to study about sports management. 3. Sports at a lifetime that is, we must study sports which meet not only the child but also the old at the same time man or woman in the 21st century. 4. The popularization of science has raised economical level of sports in the society of sports industry. According to commercialization of sports, sports market is getting bigger.

      • 기업화 스포츠센터의 발전과정과 전망에 관한 고찰

        How to connect the quality of life and the promotion of health with the Leisure Age which is given as a by-product of the modern industrial society is the task of the modern Sports Centers. With the previous developmental process, the objective of this research is to map out the strategy of the industrial sports. 1. The development of sports centers have shown rapid growth by the early 1990s since the '88 Seoul Olympics, and especially have expanded much more through the restucturing period in 1994. 2. The regional distribution of sports centers is concentrated in large cities; for example, among the total number of 184 sports centers in the country, Seoul has 96 sports centers, Kyeong-ki 29, Bu-san 15, Tae-gu 9, In-cheon 8. In particular, there is no sports center in Kangwon-do and Cheon-ra Nam-do. 3. The sports centers are forms of enterprise, which are equipped with spacial and functional facilities for the promotion of health. And the marketability has been expanded and subdivided for the customer-oriented marketing. 4. The prospect of sports centers can be understood through the emergence of distinctive small-sized sports centers, the sports centers for the welfare of employees, the net-work of sports centers for the beauty care, and the sprots centers for the medical care and resort.

      • Sports Massage 效果에 對한 考察

        Sprts massage, without using any special device and medication, is a sort of treatment of using only hands, feet and other body parts, and regardless of time and place, it (sports massage) can be practiced whenever and wherever, therefore sports massage can result in good effects according to the proper and suitable sports massage. (*practice) According to the methods of sports massages, the circulations of blood and lymph become activated. At the same time one's metabloism can be improved enough to remove superannuation waste and to provide nutritional oxygen, as a result the system of bodily tissue can be invigorated. By activating muscles and nervous systems through sports massage, the vitality of motor nerve becoms high enough to recover from fatigue quickly. By stimulating cutaneous nervous through sports massage, freshness of body can bo obtained and physical abilities can be developed. Excuted muscles under the control of moving nervous enable muscles to act invigoratingly so the burden of physical exercise will be increased. By helping blood and lymph flow freely in the impared muscular system, sports massage can be effective to muscular pain (=myalgia), to cure dermatologic disease and to prevent hardenimg of arteries (-arterioscleroses) and diseases of adult people (-geriatric disease). Such as, I'd like to suggest a few items. 1. Activating sports massage should be based on school education. 2. Sport massage training for experts should be included in university curriculum. 3. There should be Public relation and seminar to popularize sports massage. 4. Sports massage organization should be established to introduce sports massage and to train specialists. 5. The research of sports massage is preferable to not only phgysical education but also medicine.

      • 스포츠센터 소비자의 불평행동의도에 관한 연구

        In order to understand both sports center consumers’ intention of complaint action by demographic characteristics and the influence consumers’ dissatisfaction has on the intention of complaint action, I conducted a questionnaire survey of 192 male and female members of three sports centers located in Seoul area. The findings are as follows: 1. Examining whether consumers have dissatisfaction and complaint action with sports centers, the results reveal that they express less complaint action than their level of dissatisfaction. 2. Examining consumers’ intention of complaint action, personal action is appeared to be higher than formal one. 3. Looking into the difference between the intentions of complaint action by sports center consumers’ demographic characteristics, significant differences are appeared in schooling and family income in both formal and personal actions. And, in general, the higher schooling and family income level, the more the intention of complaint action. 4. Investigating the influence sports center consumers’ dissatisfaction has on the intention of complaint action, it has significant influence on the intention of personal action, but on that of formal action.

      • 스포츠 산업 세분화이론 연구

        An industry segment is a combination of product variety and a group of consumers who purchase it. Industry segmentation is the division of an industry into submits for purpose of developing competitive strategy. The purpose of this study was to apply industry segmentation theory to the sport industry and to develop a sport industry segment model. Pitts et. al(1990) suggested sport industry segment model applied Porter's(1985) theory of industry segmentation. Traditional and contemporary definitions of sport and sport industry as well as lists and descriptions of sport products were used. Pitts model produced three sport industry segments: sport performance, sport production, and sport promotion. In addition, product variety categories and buyer types were identified in each segment.

      • 韓國 社會體育 振興 方案에 對한 考察

        In modern society, the rapid social change of industrialization and urbanization escalated economic growth and enriched national life, while it gave rise to the social problems of decrease in opportunities for physical activities, weakening personal health, dehumanization, and unsound making use of leisure. Therefore, sports for all is necessarily needed for the purpose of upbringing of healthy members of society, making of physical climate, expanding of opportunities for physical activities and taking root of sound leisure culture. In this sense, the purpose of this thesis is to seek for a solution to the promotion of sports for all. The this is organized into six chapters. Chapter Ⅰ raised a problem of sports for all in Korea. Chapter Ⅱ defined the concept of sports for all and pointed out it's necessity. Chapter Ⅲ reiewed the actual conditions of sports for all of each country in the world. Chapter Ⅳ examined the present situation of preconditions for sports for all in Korea-facilities, leaders, program, clubs of sports minded persons, and athletic organizations and found out some problems. Chapter Ⅴ on the basis of such problems, bresented a solution to promotion of sports for all in Korea. Chapter Ⅵ drew several conclusions regarding effective drive of sports for all in Korea : (1) the effective use of the established physical facilities and the expansion of facilities for multipurpose : (2) the raising and suitable recruitment of able leaders : (3) the development and spread of various program : (4) the enlargement of clubs of sports-minded persons : and (5) the rational management of athletic organizations. If we continue to carry out the above-mentioned a solution to promotion of sports for all, Korea will become soon a welfare state throoogh the establishment of a state on the basis of sports.
