RESEARCH REVIEW OF SAND-DUST STORMS IN CHINA
Qi, Shang 용인대학교 대학원 2005 International Symposium on HUMAN & CULTURE Vol.- No.-
China is one of the countries where calamitous sand-dust storms are increasing. This paper reviews the relevant research and countermeasures in China. The followings are focused in this article: 1) the definition, the time, location and characteristics of the sand-dust storm; 2) evaluation of hazards and economic loss caused by sand-dust storms; 3) analysis of the causes and processes of sand-dust storms; 4) the major countermeasures adopted by China.
COLLEGE TEAM OF SPORTS MEDICINE IN KOREA WHAT IS GOING ON?
KIM, Kihong 용인대학교 대학원 2005 International Symposium on HUMAN & CULTURE Vol.- No.-
In spite of the incredible number of the participants in sports activities in Korea, their understanding toward sports medicine and its necessity in sport fields was seemed either incomplete or did not meet the needs of athletic training in the variable sport teams. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to provide information relevant to the historical background and prospective of the sports medicine in Korea as well as the needs of educational system for the Athletic Training in Korea.
KIM, Younchong 용인대학교 대학원 2005 International Symposium on HUMAN & CULTURE Vol.- No.-
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the satisfaction score and the economic evaluation for web site providing science & technology contents. The most important issue for the customer's satisfaction score is providing more appropriate information service about science & technology. Internet questionnaire method was used to collect data of the satisfaction level of customers. Data was collected from December 15th through December 30th, 2002. There were 2,092 respondents to questionnaire. Statistical analysis were used in this study. The score of the customer's satisfaction for web site providing science & technology contents is 87.13 which is from our customer's satisfaction score model. The model was fitted for the economic evaluation on the data base and the site provided from KISTI. The yearly value of economic evaluation for the data base is ₩932,541,960,266. The yearly value of economic evaluation for the site is ₩302,001,237,254. The yearly value of economic evaluation for KISTI is ₩1,234,543,197,520.
A NEW METHOD FOR GENERATING AN OPTIMUM SYNCHRONIZABLE PROTOCOL CONFORMANCE TEST SEQUENCE
KIM, Chul 용인대학교 대학원 2005 International Symposium on HUMAN & CULTURE Vol.- No.-
This paper presents an improved technique for generating a minimum-length synchronizable test sequence that can be applied in the distributed test architecture where both external synchronization and input/output operation costs are taken into consideration. The method defines a set of transformation rules that constructs a duplex digraph from a given finite state machine representation of a protocol specification such that a minimum cost tour of the duplex digraph can be used to generate a minimum-length synchronizable test sequence using synchronizable distinguishing sequences, so-called SDSs, as the state identification sequence for each state of the given finite state machine. This method provides a solution to the synchronization problem that arises during the application of a predetermined test sequence in some protocol test architectures that utilize remote testers.
FISH EGGS AND LARVAL FISH DISTRIBUTION IN KUMHO NUCLEAR POWER PLANT CONSTRUCTION AREA, NORTH KOREA
KIM, Saywa 용인대학교 대학원 2005 International Symposium on HUMAN & CULTURE Vol.- No.-
Quantitative fish egg and larval fish samples were collected at six stations in May and October 2002 in waters off KumHo N/P construction area, North Korea. Four types of unidentified fish eggs were occurred. Each spherical egg of floating type was considered to refer one species. Larval fishes capture in the present study were poor. Four species of larval fishes occurred and their abundances were less than 1 indiv. 1000m^(-3) in most case.
ON THE STUDY OF BAYESIAN RELATIVE ERROR PREDICTION
KIM, Yongchul 용인대학교 대학원 2005 International Symposium on HUMAN & CULTURE Vol.- No.-
A condition often imposed on estimated models is that estimates and predictions have a small relative error. Usually, however, the relative error criterion is not used in the estimation process, but only to evaluate a model estimated by other model. In this paper we suggest Bayes relative error loss which gives better results in prediction.
