        This article has been performed to research the holiness and sanctification theory of Eung-Jo Kim. Devotion to the holiness and sanctification theory started after pastoral duties and field ministry for a long time, realizing that Christians have chronic ills. Above all, a theoretical study on Eung-Jo Kims experience life is considered to be necessary in order to solve this problems. This study will examine both theoretical and practical aspects, and focus, in particular, on integrating theology and the life on one prospect. The practical sanctification theory of Kim Eung-jo was the core theme of this paper, and it was the life of biblical practice that Kim Eung-jo showed through his holy life. It is very difficult to highlight the life and theological thought of the features in Korean Church of the specific era and its effect on next generations. For it should be scrupulously analyzed in a synchronic and diachronic aspect based on more detailed and obvious data. Spirituality is deeply rooted in his sanctification theory. He is the person of the Holy Spirit and the prayer. He admired the Spirit of God and began and ended his life with prayer.

      • 『宗敎界諸名士講演集』(1922)에 수록된 설교문 분석 -김관식의 “徹底의 愛”, 박희도의 “精神界의 復興”, 정춘수의 “예수와 自然”을 중심으로-

        This research aims to analyze the sermons published in Jonggyogyeoi Jemyeongsa Gangyeonjip(『宗敎界諸名士講演集』, 1922) in the early years of Japanese cultural policy, focusing on Gwan-Sik Kim’s “Perfect Love”, Heui-Do Park’s “Revival of Christian Spirit”, and Chun-Su Jeong’s “Jesus and Nature”. This book is the gemlike sermon collection by famous pastors and teachers of Christian group in the early 1920s. Also it is a notable fact that this book implicates the spirit of resistance of the Christian leaders, including Gwan-Sik Kim, Heui-Do Park, Chun-Su Jeong against the Japanese Colonialism and cultural policy. Firstly, I researched Rev. Gwan-Sik Kim’s view of true love and his ardent plea to Korean Christians through his “Perfect Love”. This text is based on John 15:13. Secondly, I treated with Heui-Do Park’s view of history and his dearest appeal to Korean Christians through his “Revival of Christian Spirit”. This text is based on Isaiah 21:11-12. Thirdly, I concentrated on Rev. Chun-Su Jeong’s pathetic love of country and implicit diagram of <homeland=native land=nation=our territory> through his “Jesus and Nature”. This text is based on Matthew 6:26-30. In addition, I suggest future extensions of this discourses into other various themes such as patriotism, anti-Japanese spirit, spiritual growth, embodiment of Christian identity, Christian education, national evangelization, and other related areas.

        Since the Christian faith rate among students at B University, a Christian university, is about 29%, the majority of students are indifferent, disregard, and dislike toward Christianity. For this reason, Christian apologetics, which has the nature of defending and explaining Christianity, is an essential element of the Christian liberal arts education (Christian understanding subject) that all students must take for 4 years and 8 semesters. So, in II, we look at various topics of atheism (scientific atheism, atheism due to evil, materialistic atheism, psychological atheism, Nietzsches anthropological atheism, and Bertrand Russells atheism), and In Ⅲ, we will look at the response to atheism by 28 Christian scholars, and in Ⅳ, we will look at Christian apologetics and its application to Christian liberal arts education at University B.

      • 현재 개신교 현황과 청년선교를 위한 교양교육 연구

        When the total and partial prohibition of church worship was implemented due to the rapid confirmation of the Corona 19 government, especially in the Daegu Church in Shinchonji, which started in February 2020, many churches prohibited face-to-face worship and participated in preventing the spread of Corona 19 through the transition to non-face-to-face worship. However, some churches declared the struggle of the government by shouting the worship shooter, and in many ways they explained the necessity of worship and enforced face-to-face worship. This has provided a cornerstone for the spread of infectious diseases, and the worries and worries of the people have grown. At first, Shinchonji was a heretic church, so the people showed an attitude of understanding, but as the confirmed people appeared in the church, the people became aware that the Orthodox church was no different from the heretic church. Although it may be said that it was not a large number of confirmed cases, the church should worry about the society and worry about the country. On the contrary, Protestantism in Korea was accused of being a selfish force for their religion. And as the corona 19 confirmed in the church for more than a year has been mass-produced so far, Protestantism, which had fallen in reliability in society, has led to a sharp decline in trust. In addition to this, the Protestant Church, which is still seen through the change of the times, and the Protestantism of the far-right fundamentalist behavior revealed through Jeon Kwang-hoon and his followers, has been disappointed with the people as well as the existing members, especially young and college students. In this regard, this study will examine the fundamentalist concepts and behaviors of Korean Protestantism and at the same time, present the measures that young and college students can return through dialogue with neighboring religions through efforts to resolve exclusivity and furthermore, through mission strategies suitable for the 21st century.

      • 인식론과 기독교교양교육

        ‘Epistemology’ and ‘Christian Liberal Education’ have a close relationship with each other. It is especially important that when professors educate students in Christian liberal education, they must make good use of the commonalities and differences between general epistemology and Christian epistemology. Because in a situation where the modern postmodern epistemology passed ‘skepticism’ and ended up with ‘deconstructionism’, This is because the students have already been preunderstanded to this deconstructive epistemology. Therefore, Christian liberal education well analyzes the flow of general epistemology(Platon, Aristotle, Pironism(Agripa), Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Wittgenstein, Foundationalism, Coherence theory, Theology of evidence, Epistemology of naturalism, etc.), In addition, after critically mutual analysis of Christian epistemology’s fideism epistemology, hermeneutic epistemology based on critical realism, spiritual epistemology, and other various epistemologies, it is necessary to develop it holistically. Here, in particular, the epistemological role of the Holy Spirit is important.

      • 21세기 교양교육- 학생주도 참여수업이 답이다

        Various education tools such as AI etc. are being utilized in the 4<SUP>th</SUP> Industrial Revolution Age. Moreover Digital Natives are apt to utilize these tools for their learning. So teachers-centered learning is not effective any longer. At this situation, teachers have developed new teaching methods and obtained some effects. For example teacher-centered question, storytelling, utilizing various stage props, variety show, etc. But these methods have some limits that students can not participate because they are being performed only by teachers. Therefore it is necessary that students take part in learning actively for next education. The author suggests following methods as means to increase creative power and to updrade problem-solving power: thinking learning, students-centered discussion or debate learning, Small group-based collaboration and project-based learning, physical action learning. And the author suggested one case as one example of students-centered learning.

      • PBL 수업을 통한 기독교 교양과목 활성화 방안 -공동체를 위한 윤리적 리더십을 중심으로-

        The purpose of this study is to explore ways to promote Christian liberal arts through the Project Based Learning(PBL). Through this study, we learned the advantages of PBL and how to apply it to other liberal arts as follows. First, PBL has the effect of collaboration on the premise of group activities or team activities. Collaboration between professors is also very important. Therefore, in order to overcome individual abilities and limitations when teaching other liberal arts, professors should be divided into small groups to collaborate. Second, PBL requires students to evaluate each other on project results, so objectivity for classes, especially sensitive evaluations, is secured. Since this is linked to overall class satisfaction, efforts to maintain objectivity in evaluation will be necessary even when teaching other liberal arts. Therefore, prior presentation of the assessment criteria and post-announcement of the assessment results will be of great help. Third, since PBL presupposes team play, it is very important for learners to communicate with each other. This also requires communication between professors and learners. Therefore, when teaching other liberal arts courses, communication between professors and students is necessary, and we should use channels that convey official communications and channels that express informal interest and love separately. I think that applying the advantages of PBL to other liberal arts is very helpful in promoting liberal arts, especially Christian liberal arts.

      • 길선주(吉善宙) 목사의 원자료 해제(解題)

        안수강(Ahn, Su-Kang) 신학과 실천학회 2020 신학과 복음 Vol.9 No.-

        The goal of this paper is to promote the study of Rev. Seon-Ju Gil’s life and theological thoughts through review of his various sermons and books. In order to reach this objective, I searched for his books as the precious primary sources such as Indolence, The Attainment of All Things, Eschatology, Gangdaebogam, Sermon Collection, Seon-Ju Gil’s Maxims, Seon-Ju Gil’s Parables, and so on. The significant value of Seon-Ju Gil’s important books could be summarized as follows. 1. The Attainment of All Things(1916) was based on a shorter piece, entitled Indolence(1904). In The Attainment of All Things, Gil added a more detailed explanation of the Christian true life and the eternal kingdom of heaven. 2. Malsehag(1935-1936) is the best example of Gil’s representative works. There is no book that can compete with this. During the period of Gil’s eschatological movement based on this book, lots of Christians were influenced by his message and there was great spiritual awakening. 3. Seon-Ju Gil wrote inspiring sermon collections and fragmentary papers during his lifetime such as Gangdaebogam, Sermon Collection(1941, 1969), “The Dawn of Peace”(1922), Seon-Ju Gil’s Maxims(1926), Seon-Ju Gil’s parables(1994), and so forth.
