        다문화가정 청소년과 비다문화가정 청소년의 건강행위와 정신건강 비교연구

        Purpose: This study aims to compare the health behaviors and mental health of adolescents from multicultural and non-multicultural families, and to determine the effect of multicultural families on adolescents' health behaviors and mental health. Methods: The study employed a cross-sectional design, utilizing data from the Korea Youth Risk Behaviour Web-based Survey 2020 and 2021. The sample comprised 9,828 multicultural adolescents and 13,389 non-multicultural adolescents. Results: Adolescents from multicultural families showed significant differences in their experiences with alcohol (x2=9.55) and substance use (x2=11.37), as well as suicidal ideation (x2=4.57) and suicidal attempts (x2=34.19), compared to their non-multicultural peers. Logistic regression analysis revealed that adolescents from multicultural families had a 1.19 times higher rate of recent alcohol experience, a 1.14 times higher rate of stress, and a 1.55 times higher rate of suicidal attempts. However, the rates of smoking and alcohol use were 0.80 times and 0.75 times lower, respectively, among adolescents from multicultural families compared to their non-multicultural peers. Conclusion: The findings suggest that health promotion programs are needed to help adolescents from multicultural families adapt socially, cultivate preventive health behaviors, and improve their mental health. These interventions should take a multifaceted approach that encourages family participation in the programs.

        간호대학 신입생의 다문화 경험에 따른 다문화 태도

        Purpose: This study examines the multicultural attitudes of first-year nursing students, as well as the factors influencing these attitudes. Methods: Data were collected from 129 first-year nursing students at a university in 2023. Descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 25.0. Results: The multicultural attitude score of the students was 4.2 out of 5. Multicultural attitudes were associated with several factors, including younger age (t=2.44, p=0.016), experience with multicultural people (t=-2.36, p=0.020), having multicultural friends (t=-2.04, p=0.043), and volunteer experience with multicultural people (t=-2.88, p=0.005). The multiple linear regression analysis using these factors explained 10.3% of the multicultural attitudes (F=3.58, p=0.009). Among these factors, the strongest factor was volunteer experience (β=0.36, p=0.036). Conclusion: A significant increase in multicultural attitudes was determined in first-year nursing students who were younger and had been exposed to multicultural individuals through volunteer work. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop systematic educational programs based on multicultural experiences for first-year nursing college students to enhance their multicultural attitudes. Moreover, the timing and structure of multicultural curricula should be examined to effectively foster multicultural experiences among nursing students.

        간호대학생의 다문화 인식과 문화 역량이 다문화 태도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study examined the impacts of multicultural awareness and cultural competence on the multicultural attitudes of nursing students. Results: The average level of multicultural awareness, cultural competence, and multicultural attitude was 3.70 (.43), 3.55(.43), and 3.89(.52), respectively. There was a significant difference in foreign ability in the case of having experience or acquaintance with multiculturalism. Multicultural awareness had a normal relationship with cultural competency (r=.61, p<.001) and multicultural attitudes (r=.64, p<.001), and cultural competency had a multicultural attitude (r=.65, p<.001). The factors influencing multicultural attitudes were cultural competence (β=.41, p<.001) and multicultural awareness (β=.39, p<.001). These variables explained approximately 52% of the total variance of multicultural attitude. Conclusion: These results suggest that education and various activity programs need to be developed to increase nursing students' awareness and attitudes toward multiculturalism.

        간호대학생의 다문화 교과 과정 참여 경험의 주제중심 내용분석

        Purpose: This study sought to investigate the reality and essence of nursing students experience of participating in a multicultural curriculum. Methods: The research methodology involved the collection of data through face-to-face interviews with 10 students from S University in the J region who had completed the multicultural curriculum, and a qualitative study was conducted through topic-oriented content analysis. Results: As a result of the analysis, indifference to multiculturalism , exclusive attitude due to prejudice and prejudice , recognition of a lack of culture-related knowledge , recognition of the necessity of multicultural education , positive change of perception , and communities coexisting together were the six themes derived. Conclusion: These results can provide the basic data for the development of a multicultural curriculum and educational content for nursing students.

        청소년에서 구강건강관련 자기효능감이 구강건강증진 생활양식에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of oral health self efficacy on oral health promotion lifestyle and to analyze related factors. Methods: This survey was conducted from March 2 to March 15, 2017, high school students in Suwon were asked to explain the purpose and content of the research, and then they were asked to participate in the questionnaire survey. 192 of them were used as the final research analysis data except for one witㅇh a large number of missing values. Results: There were statistically significant differences in oral health self efficacy and oral health promotion lifestyle according to gender and academic performance (p<.05). The gender showed that the oral health promotion lifestyle was higher than the female and the oral health promotion lifestyle was lower in the group with the highest academic achievement than the other groups. The results showed that oral health related self efficacy correlated with oral health promotion lifestyle (p<.05). The higher the oral health self efficacy, the higher the score of oral health promotion lifestyle. Conclusion: In order to increase the practice rate of oral health promoting behaviors of youth, it is necessary to make concrete oral health environment and concrete oral health promotion plan should be developed. In addition, it is considered that there should be repeated research on adolescents with various characteristics about these factors.

        간호대학생의 다문화인식과 다문화수용성 및 다문화효능감과의 관계

        Purpose: This study attempted to analyze the relationship between multicultural perception, acceptance, and efficacy of nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study design was used. From April 1st to April 22nd, 2021, data were collected from B nursing college students through an online survey. The collected data from 111 students were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The mean scores of the multicultural perception, acceptance, and efficacy of nursing students were 3.42±0.25, 3.87±0.32, and 4.00±0.48, respectively. The results of an analysis of the correlation between the nursing student's multicultural perception, acceptance, and efficacy showed a positive correlation between multicultural perception and multicultural acceptance (r =.485, p<.01), multicultural perception, and multicultural efficacy (r =.592, p<.01), and multicultural acceptance and multicultural efficacy (r =.469, p<.01). Conclusion: From the results of this study, it can be confirmed that when nursing students' awareness of multiculturalism is high, their multicultural acceptance and efficacy are improved. Therefore, it is suggested that strategies need to be continuously evolved and further education planned to enhance the cultural competency of nursing students by improving their levels of multicultural perception, acceptance, and efficacy.

        태권도 수련 초등학생의 자아존중감, 사회생활태도 및 정신건강과의 관계

        현대사회의 물질적 풍요, 문화 환경의 변화, 소셜 네트워 크 서비스를 포함한 대중매체의 범람화 현상 등은 학생들 에게 물질 만능주의 사고와 가치관의 혼란을 야기하고 있 다. 특히 학교에서는 입시위주의 교육과 성적위주의 평가로 과도한 경쟁을 유도하고 있으며, 가정환경에서는 핵가족화 와 맞벌이 부모의 증가, 부모의 지나친 과잉보호와 간섭 등 의 양육방식이 복합적으로 작용하여 심리적 갈등과 혼란을 야기하여 청소년 비행, 약물중독, 학교부적응 행동과 관련 한 아동이 급증하고 있다(고인숙, 2009; 김상진, 2008; 이 영아, 김보성과 민윤기, 2008; 최용규, 2013).

        간호학과 신입생의 문화적 역량, 문화 간 의사소통 능력이 다문화 인식에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This descriptive research attempts to provide the basis for improving the multicultural awareness of nursing freshmen by identifying the effect of cultural competency and intercultural communication skills. Methods: This self-assessment study comprised 200 nursing students. The data collected were analyzed applying frequency analysis, technical statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coordinators using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Results: The primary factor influencing the multicultural awareness of nursing college students was the communication ability between cultures, and the explanatory power was 67.5%. Conclusion: It is necessary to nurture intercultural communication skills. Furthermore, it is essential to support the development of nursing programs and the implementation of education directed toward such communications.

        간호대학생들의 다문화 인식에 대한 주관성 연구

        한국사회는 저출산·고령화 사회로 인한 외국노동력 증 가, 동포의 유입, 유학생 증가와 더불어 국제결혼에 의한 다문화 가족 증가 등으로 다른 나라에 비해 짧은 기간 내 다문화 사회로 이행된 특징을 가진 사회이다(강준혁, 2012). 단일민족에 대한 인식이 확고한 한국사회가 국민적인 합의나 이해 도출이 거의 진행되지 못한 상태에서 다문 화 사회로의 급속한 변화에 따라 다문화 현상에 대한 사 회적 논의가 요구된다(박근수, 신희정, 2012; 황윤영, 이 은숙, 2013). 한국사회에서의 다문화에 대한 논의는 다문 화 대상자에 대한 인권보장과 차별에 중점을 두고 다문 화 사회를 계기로 세계화에 부합하는 국민의식의 성장을 통해 앞으로 국가발전을 어떻게 이루느냐에 중점을 두어 야 한다(서범석, 2010).
