Liquid Level Tracking Control of Three-tank Systems
Shuyou Yu,Xinghao Lu,Yu Zhou,Yangyang Feng,Ting Qu,Hong Chen 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2020 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.18 No.10
In this paper, a liquid level tracking controller composed of a feedforward controller and a feedback controller is proposed for three-tank systems. Firstly, the flat property of three-tank systems is verified and a feedforward controller is designed accordingly to track the ideal trajectories. Secondly, in order to eliminate the tracking errors introduced by model uncertainties or unknown disturbances, a nonlinear model predictive controller is designed in which a terminal equality constraint is added for ensuring asymptotic convergence. In addition, an improved cuckoo search algorithm is adopted to solve the optimization problem involved in the nonlinear model predictive control. Finally, the control performance is confirmed by both simulation and experiment results.
Differential Profile of Plasma Circular RNAs in Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus
Yangyang Li,Ying Zhou,Minghui Zhao,Jing Zou,Yuxiao Zhu,Xuewen Yuan,Qianqi Liu,Hanqing Cai,Cong-Qiu Chu,Yu Liu 대한당뇨병학회 2020 Diabetes and Metabolism Journal Vol.44 No.6
Background No currently available biomarkers or treatment regimens fully meet therapeutic needs of type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Circular RNA (circRNA) is a recently identified class of stable noncoding RNA that have been documented as potential biomarkers for various diseases. Our objective was to identify and analyze plasma circRNAs altered in T1DM. Methods We used microarray to screen differentially expressed plasma circRNAs in patients with new onset T1DM (n=3) and age-/gender-matched healthy controls (n=3). Then, we selected six candidates with highest fold-change and validated them by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction in independent human cohort samples (n=12). Bioinformatic tools were adopted to predict putative microRNAs (miRNAs) sponged by these validated circRNAs and their downstream messenger RNAs (mRNAs). Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses were performed to gain further insights into T1DM pathogenesis. Results We identified 68 differentially expressed circRNAs, with 61 and seven being up- and downregulated respectively. Four of the six selected candidates were successfully validated. Curations of their predicted interacting miRNAs revealed critical roles in inflammation and pathogenesis of autoimmune disorders. Functional relations were visualized by a circRNA-miRNA-mRNA network. GO and KEGG analyses identified multiple inflammation-related processes that could be potentially associated with T1DM pathogenesis, including cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, inflammatory mediator regulation of transient receptor potential channels and leukocyte activation involved in immune response. Conclusion Our study report, for the first time, a profile of differentially expressed plasma circRNAs in new onset T1DM. Further in silico annotations and bioinformatics analyses supported future application of circRNAs as novel biomarkers of T1DM.
Impact of Entrepreneurial Orientation on New Firm Performance in China
Cai Li,Zhu Xiumei,Yu Xiaoyu,Yangyang 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 2009 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 학술대회 Vol.2009 No.10
Entrepreneurial orientation(EO) has been long recognized as a potentially viable means for achieving a high firm performance. Although a firm’s entrepreneurial processes may facilitate the pursuit of new entry opportunities that enhance its performance, adopting a strong entrepreneurial orientation is increasingly considered necessary but insufficient for wealth creation by new ventures. a better understanding of the conditions under which an entrepreneurial orientation enhances firm performance benefits the implementation of EO. Thus, this paper examines the impact of EO on new firm performance and the moderation effect of dynamic environment on the relationship between them. The empirical results from a sample of 384 new firms in China reveal several important findings. Innovative and proactive firm behaviors were positively associated with firm performance, while risk-taking displayed a U-shaped curvilinear relationship with performance under the background of chinese culture. Furthermore, the results indicate that dynamic environment moderate the relationship between three sub-dimension of EO and new firm performance.
