      • The Empirical Analysis of Optimal Capital Structure of the Equipment Manufacturing Industry Listed Companies

        In view of the bias of panel data model set can lead to misjudgment to the relationship between enterprise value and the capital structure, this article uses nonparametric method to study the relationship between them, adjusts variables in the model. The article evaluates the optimal capital structure of listed companies of the equipment manufacturing industry in our country Based on financial data from 2006 to 2013, analyzes from the Angle of enterprise value and agency cost respectively,. The results show that, The relationship between enterprise value and capital structure is inverted u-shaped, there exists a maximum asset-liability ratio in enterprise value. And the relationship between agency cost and capital structure present u-shaped roughly, there is a minimum asset-liability ratio in agency costs, there is a reasonable capital structure interval when asset-liability ratio is in range (32.87%, 58.21%).

        Endoscopic Submucosal Tunnel Dissection for Upper Gastrointestinal Submucosal Tumors Originating from the Muscularis Propria Layer: A Single-Center Study

        Background/Aims: In recent years, endoscopic submucosal tunnel dissection (ESTD) has gained popularity worldwide. The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ESTD in treating upper gastrointestinal submucosal tu-mors (SMTs) in a large-volume endoscopic center. Methods: Patients with SMTs were enrolled in this study between January 2012 and January 2015. Demographic data, clinical data, and treatment outcome were collected and analyzed. Results: Seventy SMTs originating from the muscularis pro-pria (MP) layer were identified in 69 patients. All patients successfully underwent the ESTD procedure. The mean procedure time was 49.0±29.5 minutes, and the mean tu-mor size was 18.7±7.2 mm. Among all lesions, the majority (70.0%) were located in the esophagus, 12.9% in the cardia, and 17.1% in the stomach. Complete resection was achieved in 67 lesions (95.7%). Perforation occurred in three patients (4.3%), who were treated by endoclips. Pneumothorax oc-curred in two patients (2.9%) and was successfully managed by thoracic drainage. During a median follow-up of 18.1 months, patients were free of local recurrence or distant metastasis. Conclusions: Our results demonstrated the fea-sibility and safety of ESTD in treating upper gastrointestinal SMTs originating from the MP layer. Large-scale comparative studies with other treatment methods should be conducted in the future. (Gut Liver 2017;11:620-627)

        Catenary Equation-Based Approach for Force Finding of Cable Domes

        Cable forces along the cable length direction vary with deadweight. An invariant that is horizontal component force along the cable length, is introduced to characterize prestress distribution of cable domes. A new approach named catenary equationbased component force balancing method, is proposed for force fi nding. In the method, the relationship between the form and the horizontal component force of the cable is determined according to catenary equation of the cable. Based on the horizontal component force of one cable, the horizontal component forces of other cables can be solved from the nodal equilibrium relationship. Take the Geiger cable dome as an example, the results of force fi nding show that the proposed method has clear mechanical concept, high calculation accuracy and simple solving process. Thus, it can provide a new general idea for force fi nding of cable domes. In addition, the diff erence of the results of force fi nding is large between with deadweight considered and with deadweight ignored. Therefore, deadweight should be considered during the prestress design of cable domes.

        Anti-wetting surfaces with self-healing property: Fabrication strategy and application

        Anti-wetting surfaces (superhydrophobic and slippery liquid-infused surfaces) are of considerable currentinterest due to their unique abilities, addressing many vital technical problems such as icing of glass,corrosion of metal, surface contamination of fabric and treatment of oily wastewater. But the unsustainabilityof anti-wetting surfaces has severely hindered their industrial applications. Self-healing inspiredfrom plants and human skins can effectively enhance the longevity and durability of anti-wetting surfaces. However, the comprehensive investigation concerning the fabrication strategies of self-healinganti-wetting surfaces from the point of substrates is yet not obtained up to date. In this review, we summarizedthe fabrication strategies of self-healing anti-wetting surfaces on glass, metals, fabrics and polymers. Then the application of self-healing anti-wetting surfaces in the fields of anti-icing, anti-corrosion,anti-fouling and oil–water separation were comprehensively reviewed in detail. Finally, great challengesand further perspectives on the application of self-healing anti-wetting surfaces are presented.

        Pt, Ag and Au Nanoparticles on hollow carbon spheres as cathode ORR

        Hollow carbon spheres (HCS) have been employed as supporting materials for Pt, Ag, and Au nanoparticles (NPs) in theoxygen reduction reaction (ORR). The NPs Pt, Ag, and Au have been hydrothermally coated on HCS uniformly. The diameterof the Pt, Ag and Au NPs ranges between 11 and 32 nm, with the loading of 4.58, 4.73, and 4.07 wt.%, respectively. Itis found that Pt, Ag, and Au/HCS exhibit stable catalytic activity after 5000 CV scanning and follow a four-electron routein the ORR. Among them, Tafel plots show that Ag/HCS has the fastest kinetic rates and Pt/HCS has the largest eff ectiveactive area from CV curve. Hence HCS provides a stable supportive material for Pt, Ag, Au nanoparticle catalysts in theORR due to its nanopores structure and large surface area.

        TRIM22 promotes the proliferation of glioblastoma cells by activating MAPK signaling and accelerating the degradation of Raf-1

        The tripartite motif (TRIM) 22 and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways play critical roles in the growth of glioblastoma (GBM). However, the molecular mechanism underlying the relationship between TRIM22 and MAPK signaling remains unclear. Here, we found that TRIM22 binds to exon 2 of the sphingosine kinase 2 (SPHK2) gene. An ERK1/2-driven luciferase reporter construct identified TRIM22 as a potential activator of MAPK signaling. Knockout and overexpression of TRIM22 regulate the inhibition and activation of MAPK signaling through the RING-finger domain. TRIM22 binds to Raf-1, a negative regulator of MAPK signaling, and accelerates its degradation by inducing K48-linked ubiquitination, which is related to the CC and SPRY domains of TRIM22 and the C1D domain of Raf-1. In vitro and in vivo, an SPHK2 inhibitor (K145), an ERK1/2 inhibitor (selumetinib), and the nonphosphorylated mutant Raf-1S338A inhibited GBM growth. In addition, deletion of the RING domain and the nuclear localization sequence of TRIM22 significantly inhibited TRIM22-induced proliferation of GBM cells in vivo and in vitro. In conclusion, our study showed that TRIM22 regulates SPHK2 transcription and activates MAPK signaling through posttranslational modification of two critical regulators of MAPK signaling in GBM cells.

        Myotomy of Distal Esophagus Influences Proximal Esophageal Contraction and Upper Esophageal Sphincter Relaxation in Patients with Achalasia After Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy

        Background/Aims The motility change after peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) in achalasia is currently focused on lower esophageal sphincter (LES). This study aims to investigate the correlation of motility response between distal and proximal esophagus after POEM. Methods A total of 32 achalasia patients who received POEM and high-resolution manometry (HRM) were included for analysis. Eckardt score was used to assess symptom improvement. HRM was applied for studying motility. Main parameters analyzed were (1) LES: resting pressure (restP), 4-second integrated relaxation pressure; (2) esophageal body (EB): contractile integral of distal segment with myotomy (CI-DM) and proximal segment without myotomy (CI-PNM); and (3) upper esophageal sphincter (UES): relaxation pressure (UES-RP). Results There were 6 type I, 17 type II, and 9 type III achalasia patients included for analysis. (1) Eckardt score, LES tone, CI-DM, CI-PNM and UES-RP were reduced remarkably after POEM (P < 0.001). (2) no significant correlation was noted between LES tone and contractile intergral of EB. (3) a positive linear correlation of CI-DM and CI-PNM changes was detected (P < 0.001). (4) the change of UES-RP was positively correlated with the change of contractile integral of EB (P < 0.001). Conclusions Myotomy of the distal esophagus would attenuate proximal EB contraction and assist UES relaxation in achalasia patients after POEM. (J Neurogastroenterol Motil 2016;22:78-85)

        Experimental study on hysteretic properties of SRC columns with high steel ratio

        8 steel reinforced concrete (SRC) columns with the encased steel ratio of 13.12% and 15.04% respectively were tested under the test axial load ratio of 0.33-0.80 and the low-frequency cyclic lateral loading. The cross sectional area of composite columns was 500 mm × 500 mm. The mechanical properties, failure modes and deformabilities were studied. All the specimens produced flexure failure subject to combined axial force, bending moment and shear. Force-displacement hysteretic curves, strain curves of encased steels and rebars were obtained. The interaction behavior of encased steel and concrete were verified. The hysteretic curves of columns were plump in shapes. Hysteresis loops were almost coincident under the same levels of lateral loading, and bearing capacities did not change much, which indicated that the columns had good energy-dissipation performance and seismic capacity. Based on the equilibrium equation, the suggested practical calculation method could accurately predict the flexural strength of SRC columns with cross-shaped section encased steel. The obtained M-N curves of SRC columns can be used as references for further studies.

        Recyclable and Reprocessable Thermosetting Polyurea with High Performance Based on Diels-Alder Dynamic Covalent Crosslinking

        The thermosetting polyurea possessed high tensile strength and elongations at break due to strong intermolecular interactions, but their recycling and reprocessing remains a great challenge, especially at a temperature below 100℃. Herein, the novel crosslinked polyurea with excellent recycling and reprocessing properties has been prepared by introducing the Diels-Alder dynamic covalent bond. The chemical structure, thermal mechanical properties and reprocessing performance of the crosslinked polyurea were investigated. The prepared polyurea has low relaxation time of ~4 min at 80℃ for facile reprocessing. The tensile strength and elongation at break of crosslinked polyurea could reach 15.24 MPa and 529.2%, respectively, and its mechanical properties remain almost unchanged even after repeated processing. This work has realized the recycling of crosslinked polyurea, which has huge potential applications in environmental protection and recycling of waste plastics.
