It is reported in previous articles that these nanoparticles will produce substantial heat that typically increases the tumor temperature, which can treat cancer cells, and another major potential of magnetic nanoparticles is the ability to combine heat and drug release for cancer treatment. However, insufficient AC induction heating power at a biological safe range of AC magnetic field and highly required biocompatibility of superparamagnetic nanoparticle hyperthermia agents have still remained as critical challenges for successful clinical hyperthermia applications. In this work, two different types nanoparticles (Fe3O4, Fe2O3) were modified by whey protein isolation (WPI), these biomodified superparamagnetic nanoparticles (WPI-SNPs) display excellent stability in different conditions and have a spherical shape with a diameter around between 40nm-100nm. Doxorubicin (DOX) was then successfully loaded into WPI-SNPs with a desirable loading content of 12%. In vitro and in vivo magnetic hyperthermia studies using WPI-SNPs nanofluids are conducted to estimate bio-availability and bio-feasibility, and experimental results prove WPI-SNPs nanofluids which show promising hyperthermia effects to completely treat the tumors.

Objectives: To assess knowledge of HPV and attitudes towards HPV vaccination among the general female population, government officials, and healthcare providers in China to assist the development of an effective national HPV vaccination program. Methods: A cross-sectional epidemiologic survey was conducted across 21 urban and rural sites in China using a short questionnaire. 763 government officials, 760 healthcare providers, and 11,681 women aged 15-59 years were included in the final analysis. Data were analyzed using standard descriptive statistics and logistic regression. Results: Knowledge of HPV among the general female population was low; only 24% had heard of HPV. Less than 20% of healthcare providers recognized sexually na$\ddot{i}$ve women as the most appropriate population for HPV vaccination. There was high acceptance of the HPV vaccine for all categories of respondents. Only 6% of women were willing to pay more than US $300 for the vaccine. Conclusions: Aggressive education is necessary to increase knowledge of HPV and its vaccine. Further proof of vaccine safety and efficacy and government subsidies combined with increased awareness could facilitate development and implementation of HPV vaccination in China.
ZNRF1 can inhibit proliferation and stemness properties of leukemia NB4 cells

As a newly discovered E3 ubiquitin ligase, ZNRF1 protein participates in controlling Wallerian degeneration, but the role in cancer biology has been seldom reported. We analyzed the change of proliferation, apoptosis, stemness and protein levels of AKT and STAT5 after leukemia NB4 cells were treated with ZNRF1 siRNA and with expression vector. The results showed that overexpression of ZNRF1 inhibited proliferation and increased apoptosis of NB4 cells, but ZNRF1 siRNA did not influence the proliferation and apoptosis. Over-expression of ZNRF1 diminished cancer stem cell properties and down-regulated AKT and STAT5. This is the first study to show that ZNRF1 inhibited proliferation and stemness properties of leukemia NB4 cells possibly through AKT signal and STAT5 signal.

In this paper, according to the work mechanism of SteamJet, With the certain small scaled turbojet for an influence, along flying trajectory calculating mass of import air and injection water, establishing the spray physics model/ mathematics model. Based on the equation of three-dimension Renault average N-S, air to adopt the limited physical volume method, the liquid adopts to the Lagrangian orbit model, with straight injecting the current method ,Simulate the field of air/ liquid two phase flow field to distribute of inlet to carry on mutually. The results indicate that spray have an effect on flow field configuration. It is concluded that the numerical model and CFD method for modeling spray flow processes in gas/liquid injector will be satisfactory. Similar to the SteamJet the United States puts forward, adopting water injection can satisfy to import the conditional request for pressure and temperature of compressor.

Objective: To explore the genotype distribution of high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) and its attribution to different grades of cervical lesions in rural China, which will contribute to type-specific HPV screening tests and the development of new polyvalent HPV vaccines among the Chinese population. Methods: One thousand two hundred ninety-two subjects were followed based on the Shanxi Province Cervical Cancer Screening Study I (SPOCCS-I), and screened by HPV DNA testing (hybrid capture® 2 [HC2]), liquid-based cytology (LBC), and if necessary, directed or random colposcopy-guided quadrant biopsies. HPV genotyping with linear inverse probe hybridization (SPF10-PCR-LiPA) was performed in HC2 positive specimens. Attribution of specific HR-HPV type to different grades of cervical lesions was estimated using a fractional contribution approach. Results: After excluding incomplete data, 1,274 women were included in the final statistical analysis. Fifteen point two percent (194/1,274) of women were HR-HPV positive for any of 13 HR-HPV types (HPV16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, and 68) and the most common HR-HPV types were HPV16 (19.1%) and HPV52 (16.5%). The genotypes most frequently detected in HR-HPV-positive cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 1 (CIN1) were HPV52 (24.1%), HPV31 (20.7%), HPV16 (13.8%), HPV33 (13.8%), HPV39 (10.3%), and HPV56 (10.3%); in HR-HPV-positive cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse (CIN2+): HPV16 (53.1%), HPV58 (15.6%), HPV33 (12.5%), HPV51 (9.4%), and HPV52 (6.3%). HPV52, 31, 16, 33, 39, and 56 together contributed to 89.7% of HR-HPV-positive CIN1, and HPV16, 33, 58, 51, and 52 together contributed to 87.5% of CIN2+. Conclusion: In summary, we found substantial differences in prevalence and attribution of CINs between different oncogenic HPV types in a rural Chinese population, especially for HPV16, 31, 33, 52, and 58. These differences may be relevant for both clinical management and the design of preventive strategies.

Patients at the same pathological stage of esophageal cancer (EC) that received the same surgical therapy by the same surgeon may have distinct prognoses. The current study aimed to explore the possibility of differentially-expressed microRNAs (miRNAs) underlying this phenomenon. Samples were collected from EC patients at the same tumor node metastasis (TNM) stage but with different prognoses. Paracancerous normal tissues were taken as controls. The specimens were histopathologically analyzed. Differentially-expressed miRNAs were analyzed using real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Compared with patients with poor prognosis, those with good prognosis exhibited 88 two-fold or more than two-fold increased miRNA fragments and 4 half-decreased miRNAs. The most noticeably up-regulated miRNAs included hsa-miR-31, hsa-miR-196b, hsa-miR-652, hsa-miR-125a-5p, hsa-miR-146b, hsa-miR-200c, hsa-miR-23b, hsa-miR-29a, hsa-miR-186, hsa-miR-205, hsa-miR-376a, hsa-miR-410, hsa-miR-532-3p, and hsa-miR-598, whereas the most significantly-downregulated miRNAs were hsa-let-7e, hsa-miR-130b, and hsa-miR-103. EC patients at same TNM stage but with different prognoses show differentially-expressed miRNAs.
Characteristics and source apportionment of fine haze aerosol in Beijing during the winter of 2013

<P>Abstract. For PM2.5 filter samples collected daily at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (Beijing, China) from December of 2013 to February of 2014 (the winter period), chemical characteristics and sources were investigated with an emphasis on haze events in different alert levels. During the 3 months, the average PM2.5 concentration was 89 µg m−3, exceeding the Chinese national standard of 75 µg m−3 in 24 h. The maximum PM2.5 concentration was 307 µg m−3, which characterizes developed-type pollution (PM2.5 / PM10>0.5) in the World Health Organization criteria. PM2.5 was dominated by SO42−, NO3−, and pseudo-carbonaceous compounds with obvious differences in concentrations and proportions between non-haze and haze episodes. The non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) analysis provided reasonable PM2.5 source profiles, by which five sources were identified: soil dust, traffic emission, biomass combustion, industrial emission, and coal combustion accounting for 13, 22, 12, 28, and 25 % of the total, respectively. The dust impact increased with northwesterlies during non-haze periods and decreased under stagnant conditions during haze periods. A blue alert of heavy air pollution was characterized by the greatest contribution from industrial emissions (61 %). During the Chinese Lantern Festival, an orange alert was issued and biomass combustion was found to be the major source owing to firework explosions. Red-alert haze was almost equally contributed by local traffic and transported coal combustion emissions from the vicinity of Beijing (approximately 40 % each) that was distinguished by the highest levels of NO3− and SO42−, respectively. This study also reveals that the severity and source of haze are largely dependent on meteorological conditions. </P>
