      • Oil Contents and Fatty Acid Composition of Korean Perilla (Perilla ocimoides L.) Collections

        This study was carried out to obtain informations on the variations of oil content and fatty acid composition among 90 Korean perilla collections. Average oil content of 90 perilla collections was 44.2% with a range from 29.7% to 61.9%. Perilla collections with late-maturing, super-large seed and gray seed coat showed higher oil content than other types in general. Average saturated fatty acid content in perilla oil was 9.0% with a range from 8.2% to 10.7%, while average unsaturated fatty acid content varied from 89.3% to 91.8% with a mean of 91.0%. Contents of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids were not related to maturity. There were no differences in the contents of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids according to maturity. Linoleic acid and linolenic acid contents were the highest in the super large-sized group(15.5%) and in the large-sized seed group(61.4%), respectively, while contents of fatty acids among the perilla collections were variable with different seed coat colors. Most of the traits studied were not significantly correlated with oil content, but linoleic acid($\omega$ 수식 이미지-6) content was negatively correlated (r=-0.217*) with linolenic acid(ω-3) content.

        우리나라 지역 직업성질환 감시체계의 현황과 전망

        기존의 특수건강진단과 작업환경측정을 통한 직업병 관리가 진폐증, 소음성난청 등의 소수 특정질환에 국한되고 실제 직업병 발생 규모 파악이나 신종 직업병의 발견에 한계를 보인다는 사실은 산업의학전문가들 사이에서도 공감을 이루고 있다. 미국과 영국 등에서의 직업성질환 감시체계에 대한 경험은 우리 나라의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축에도 새로운 자극제가 되면서, 1998년이후 인천, 대전, 여천, 구미, 부울경 지역에서 지역 직업성질환감시체계를 산업보건관리의 중요한 시스템으로 구축하려는 노력이 확산되고 있다. 새로이 구축되어지는 이들 지역 직업성질환 감시체계는 감시하고자 하는 대상질환, 활용 가능한 인적자원 및 자료원, 지역 의료체계의 특수성 등에 따라서 목적과 방법을 달리하면서 독특한 형태로 발전을 하고 있다. 각 지역단위 감시체계들이 그 상황에 맞게 독특한 목적과 전략들을 발전 시키면서도, 향후 발전할 국가적인 차원의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축을 위하여 직업성질환 감시의 기본 전략 등을 공유하는 등의 노력이 필요하다. 환례 정의 및 기본적인 등록 서식의 공유, 직업성질환 감시 자료원의 발굴, 공동의 정보 네트워크 및 직업성질환 감시 데이터베이스 구축 등 직업성질환 감시활동을 지원하기 위한 여러 기초 인프라 구축에 힘을 모아야 할 것이다. 우리 나라에서 직업성질환 감시체계를 성공적으로 구축하기 위해서는 수집된 자료의 질 관리를 위한 직업성질환 감시의 원칙 제정과 감시 전략의 공유 등이 필요하며, 전국적인 직업성질환 감시체계의 하부구조라고 할 수 있는 지역감시체계의 기초 토대 마련과 강화작업이 절실하게 필요하다.

        In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

      • 男子中學生에 있어서 身體變因과 社會測定的 地位와의 關係

        Fifty eight randomly sampled boys(mean age:167.4 months)of Dong-san middle school in Daejeon served as subjects. The social status score of each subject was derived from acceptance scores on a sociometric questionaire for the friend criterion. According to the Heath-Carter method, the somatotype of each subject was determined on the basis of anthropometric measurements. One hundred meter dash, standing broad jump, throwing, pull-up, and sit-up test were used for the physical fitness assessment of each subject. Product-moment correlation coefficients and tratios were calculated to observe the relationship of physical variables to social status and their statistical significance. The authors reached the following conclusions: 1. The significant positive relationship exists between body weight and social status. 2. Height is not significantly related to social status. 3. The significant positive relationship exists between the mesomorphic component of anthropometric somatotype and social status. 4. The relationship of the endomorphic and the ectomorphic component to social status are not significant statistically. 5. Among the subfactors of physical fitness, power and coordination are positively related to social status. 6. Agility and muscular endurance are not significantly related to social status.

      • 주암호의 수질 분석에 관한 연구

        This survey was conducted at 8 sites of the Juam reservoir through May, 1990 and October, 1990 to estimate the change of the water quality characteristics due to the construction of Juam dam. Physicochemical characters of river-ecosystem changed to those of lake-ecosystem. Water temperature, pH and B.O.D. of Juam reservoir increased as the result of the construction of Dam. Although the current trophic state of Juam reservoir is oligotrophic, that of influent streams is mesotrophic.

      • 바닥재 처리로 인한 수송 트레일러의 3차원진동 감쇠 효과

        This study was aimed to prevent the quality loss of agricultural products, which could be occurred by the vibrations of transporting trailer. The vibration absorption effect was measured and analyzed by mounting the polystyrene material on the bottom of trailer. The transporting trailer was tested with being mounted by the pear boxes up to fourth floor. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: 1. At low engine speed of 500rpm, average 3-dimensional accelerations of the polystyrene mounting system were showed similar results by the 3-directions as 0.0005 ~ 0.0006㎨, but those were reduced to 1/2 ~ 1/20 level of the non-mounting system. 2. At standard engine speed of 1,000rpm, the average 3-dimensional accelerations of the polystyrene mounting system were showed similar results by the 3-directions as 0.0005 ~ 0.0006㎨, and also showed similar results as 0.0006 ~ 0.0008㎨ for the non-mounting system. 3. For the accumulated vibration levels, the more low-frequency accelerations were occurred at the non-mounting system, which would make severe effect on the transporting loss.

      • 지반과 앵커체의 탄성계수비 (E_(a)/E_(r))에 따른 앵커체 표면에서의 응력전이에 관한 수치해석

        Anchor is used for a restraining of a ground deformation in the retaining wall, slope-stability et ect. When pullout load is applied to the anchor in the ground, the behavior of the anchor in the ground is differed by the rigidity of anchor body and ground. In this study, the stress-behavior is analyzed by the numerical a analysis on the surface of an anchor body according to the pullout of an anchor. Mostly, The analysis is focused on the change of a shear stress according to the coefficient ratio of elasticity. The coefficient ratio of elasticity(E_(a)/E_(r)) is defined by the ratio between elastic modulus of ground(E_(r)) and that of anchor body (E_(a)). By using this ratio, the progressive failure of anchor body can be analysed. 앵커는 흙막이 벽, 사면안정 등에서 사용되는 지반변형 억제공법이다. 앵커가 지중에서 인발하중을 받으면 앵커체의 강성과 지반의 강성에 따라 각각 다른거동을 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 인장형 및 압축형 앵커의 인발에 따른 표면에서의 응력거동을, 주로 탄성계수비에 따른 전단응력의 변화에 중점을 두고 수치해석 기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 여기서, 탄성계수비(coefficient ratio of elasticity)란 지반탄성계수(E_(r))와 앵커체탄성계수(E_(a))의 비 (E_(a)/E_(r))를 말하는데, 이 탄성계수비에 의해 앵커의 진행성 파괴에 대한 영향을 평가할 수 있다.

      • 벼 직파재배 기계화 기술개발에 관한 고찰

        This study was conducted to suggest the mechanization strategy for rice direct seeding cultivation through reviewing the current rice cultivation status and its problem. The rice direct seeding cultivation can contribute to reduce production cost as well as to enhance the mechanization technology and related machine development. The objects and directions for rice direct seeding cultivation strategy, reviewed in this study, could be summarized as follows : 1. The breeding status for direct seeding cultivation is less uniform than transplanting cultivation, especially in large scale farming area. So, precision farming techniques for the operations such as seeding, fertilizing, water control etc., and proper farm machinery utilization system suitable for large scale farming area should be identified and introduced. 2. In order to get the effect of direct seeding cultivation such as reduction in production cost and save labor requirement, the following seeding machines should be developed and used in direct seeding cultivation, i.e. no or partial plowing machine, direct seeder for dry field, and direct seeder for wet field, which can be used for simultaneous operation of seeding, fertilizing, and weeding. 3. Governmental & private organizations concerned with agriculture and farm machinery should agree positively with the direct seeding cultivation policy. 4. It is urgent that development of precision farming technology and its mechanization suitable for korean field conditions with the assistance of information technology such as GPS and GIS.

      • 초기 변형이 있는 일반 회전체 베어링계의 동조 진동응답해석

        Rotating machinery often encounter excessive vibration due to various sources. Among others, synchronous excitation such as rotating unbalance and initial deformation is acknowledged as essential source affecting the forced vibration of rotor-bearing systems. In the present paper synchronous response is considered in the presence of initial deformation as well as unbalance. The present paper considers general, flexible rotor bearing system, instead of simple rotors as usually adopted in the literature. The present paper intends to reveal the peculiar effects due to initial deformation in general rotor bearing systems which include rotation speed dependent elements and anisotropic nature. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the physics of rotor-bearing systems with initial deformations.

      • 운동 강도가 신체구성성분에 미치는 영향

        In order to find the effects of exercise intensity on body composition depending on the exercise time and grade of intensity, 7 healthy male students enrolled in the W University who have similar physical constitutions were selected as model group. They underwent the tests to determine the change and difference of physical conditions depending on the exercising intensities divided by 30% VO₂max, ventilation threshold intensity and 75% VO₂max for each span of time divided by 5 min., 10 min., 15 min. and 20 min. during the stable period and by 5 min. and 10 min. during the restoring period, respectively. The outcomes of the tests are summed up as follows; 1. the exercise group of 75% VO₂max shows the highest rate of sweating(P<.01), followed by the groups of ventilation threshold(P<.01) and 35% VO₂max in order. 2. the body fat decreases after exercise compared to that before exercise in the exercise groups of 30% VO₂max and ventilation threshold but its difference is statistically insignificant. But the decrease by 1.04ℓ before and after exercise in the exercise group of 75% VO₂max should be regarded as statistically significant(P<.05).
