Insulin drug was loading in chitoshan nanospheres using electrospraying method, a pH- and temperature-sensitive biodegradable hydrogel, which is an oligomer serine-poly(lactide)-poly(ethylene glycol)-poly (lactide)-oligomer serine (OS-PLA-PEG-PLA-OS) pentablock copolymer was used as a matrix to containing chitosan–insulin electro sprayed nanospheres (CIN). The properties of the OS-PLA-PEG-PLA-OS pentablock copolymer and the chitosan–insulin nanoparticles such as sol-gel transition, degradation in vitro and in vivo were characterized. The results showed that the chitosan–insulin nanospheres uniformly distributed in the matrix had a reinforcing effect on the mechanical properties and prolonged the degradation time of the hydrogel depot under body conditions. In addition, the cytotoxicity experiment results indicate that the composite could be used as a biomaterial for drug delivery system. The composite solutions accommodating different concentrations of the chitosan–insulin nanospheres were subcutaneously injected into induced diabetic BALB/c mice to study the in vivo insulin-release profile. The result showed that insulin concentrations in blood plasma were maintained at a steady-state level. Furthermore, the bio-properties of the insulin were retained and it showed a blood glucose level reducing effect for more than 60 hours after injection to a streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic mouse model. The results suggested that this injectable pH–temperature sensitive hydrogel containing chitosan– insulin electro sprayed nanosphere composites has promising potential applications for type 1 diabetes treatment.
Effect of charged nano-particles on ceramic microfiltration membrane fouling
Minh Hoang Le,김경조,정상현,장암 한국공업화학회 2019 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.72 No.-
After thefiltration experiment with the SiO2, TiO2, and ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) for 250 min, thefluxdecreased by 68%, 47%, and 48% for the Al2O3 ceramic membrane while it was 61%, 37%, and 26% for TiO2ceramic membrane. Compared to Al2O3, the presence of TiO2 in the ceramic membrane improved foulingresistance. The 25 nm particle size was observed to create the most severe fouling. The results indicatedthat thefiltration of neutral charged NPs exhibited the highestflux in the membranes of either neutral orpositive charges when compared to NPs with other charges.

Two years after implementation of the graphic health warning intervention in Vietnam, it is very important to evaluate the intervention's potential impact. The objective of this paper was to predict effects of graphic health warnings on cigarette packages, particularly in reducing cigarette demand and smoking-associated deaths in Vietnam. In this study, a discrete choice experiment (DCE) method was used to evaluate the potential impact of graphic tobacco health warnings on smoking demand. To predict the impact of GHWs on reducing premature deaths associated with smoking, we constructed different static models. We adapted the method developed by University of Toronto, Canada and found that GHWs had statistically significant impact on reducing cigarette demand (up to 10.1% through images of lung damage), resulting in an overall decrease of smoking prevalence in Vietnam. We also found that between 428,417- 646,098 premature deaths would be prevented as a result of the GHW intervention. The potential impact of the GHW labels on reducing premature smoking-associated deaths in Vietnam were shown to be stronger among lower socio-economic groups.

The objectives of this present study were to assess the effects of varying dilutions, pH, temperature and cations on spermatozoa motile parameters (SMPs) in fish Larimichthys polyactis. Optimal SMPs were observed when emen was diluted in artificial seawater (ASW) at a ratio of 1 to 100, with temperature of 10 degreesC and pH 8.0. The spermatozoa of L. polyactis were immotile in distilled water and motile in solution containing different cations. Maximum SMPs were obtained in each solution containing 0.4 mol NaCI, 0.4 mol KCI, 0.2 mol CaCI2 and 0.2 mol MgCl2. This study provides baseline knowledge of L. polyactis spermatozoa sensitivity of pH, temperature and cationic effects.

Line Impedance Estimation Based Adaptive Droop Control Method for Parallel Inverters
Le, Phuong Minh,Pham, Xuan Hoa Thi,Nguyen, Huy Minh,Hoang, Duc Duy Vo,Nguyen, Tuyen Dinh,Vo, Dieu Ngoc The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2018 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.18 No.1
This paper presents a new load sharing control for use between paralleled three-phase inverters in an islanded microgrid based on the online line impedance estimation by the use of a Kalman filter. In this study, the mismatch of power sharing when the line impedance changes due to temperature, frequency, significant differences in line parameters and the requirements of the Plug-and-Play mode for inverters connected to a microgrid has been solved. In addition, this paper also presents a new droop control method working with the line impedance that is different from the traditional droop algorithm when the line impedance is assumed to be pure resistance or pure inductance. In this paper, the line impedance estimation for parallel inverters uses the minimum square method combined with a Kalman filter. In addition, the secondary control loops are designed to restore the voltage amplitude and frequency of a microgrid by using a combined nominal value SOGI-PLL with a generalized integral block and phase lock loop to monitor the exact voltage magnitude and frequency phase at the PCC. A control model has been simulated in Matlab/Simulink with three voltage source inverters connected in parallel for different ratios of power sharing. The simulation results demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed control method.
Diluents and Cryoprotectants for Cryopreservation of Filefish Thamnaconus modestus Sperm
Le, Minh-Hoang,Lim, Han-Kyu,Min, Byung-Hwa,Son, Maeng-Hyun,Lee, Jung-Uie,Chang, Young-Jin The Korean Society of Fisheries and Aquatic Scienc 2008 韓國養殖學會誌 Vol.21 No.1
The present study aimed to find the best diluent and cryoprotectant for sperm cryopreservation of filefish Thamnaconus modestus. Two kinds of artificial seminal plasma(ASP1, ASP2), 0.3 M glucose and marine fish Ringer's solution(MFRS) were employed as diluent. Dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) and methanol as cryoprotectant were selected for sperm cryopreservation. Sperm was diluted at the ratio of 1:3 with diluents containing cryoprotectants and adjusted for final concentration at 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Mixed milt was frozen at liquid nitrogen vapor after equilibration for 5 min. The highest motility($40.5{\pm}2.8%$) and swimming speed($81.5{\pm}4.1{\mu}m/s$) of frozen/thawed sperm were observed in ASP1 diluent containing 10% DMSO and in ASP2 containing 15% DMSO, respectively. Results showed that cryopreservation with ASP as diluent and DMSO as cryoprotectant could be adopted for long term storage of filefish sperm.
