        Research on Li0.3Na0.18K0.52NO3 promoted Mg20Al-CO3 LDH/GO composites for CO2 capture

        It has been reported that the addition of graphene oxide (GO) can increase the dispersion and heterogeneousnucleation of layered double hydroxide (LDH), thus providing more active sites, which is more conduciveto CO2 adsorption. Herein, we reported alkali metal nitrates ((Li0.3Na0.18K0.52)NO3) promoted LDHand GO composites (LDH/GO) as adsorbents for CO2 capture. The influence of mass ratio of LDH to GO, theimpregnation ratio of alkali metal nitrates, the calcination and adsorption temperature, as well as thecycling stability were investigated systematically. The results indicated that the CO2 capture capacityof LDH/GO composite with 30 mol% (Li0.3Na0.18K0.52)NO3 could reach 4.51 mmol g 1, which was 5.86times higher than LDH/GO1 without loading alkali metal nitrates. Moreover, it had outstanding CO2adsorption capacity in the range from 200 C to 320 C. In addition, the cyclic adsorption and desorptiontest manifested that the CO2 uptake of the material can reach 3.07 mmol g 1 after 22 cycles. We believethat this study will give a significant contribution to fabrication of LDH based composites as CO2 adsorbentsin future study.

      • In-situ photocrosslinked hydroxide conductive membranes based on photosensitive poly(arylene ether sulfone) block copolymers for anion exchange membrane fuel cells

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A series of photocrosslinkable multi-block poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymers containing various block lengths of hydrophilic segments were synthesized. For comparison, a series of random poly(arylene ether) copolymers were also synthesized. The anion exchange membranes(AEMs) were fabricated and in-situ photocrosslinking was carried out by UV irradiation in a swollen state. The microphase-separated morphologies of the multi-block membranes were characterized by SAXS and TEM experiments, and the membrane properties were investigated by measuring ion exchange capacity (IEC), water uptake, water swelling ratio, ionic conductivity, methanol permeability and alkaline stability. IECs and water uptakes of the crosslinked multi-block membranes were in the range of 1.11–1.42 meq g<SUP>−1</SUP> and 14.36–31.01% at 20 °C, respectively. The hydroxide conductivity was in the range of 11.38–25.00 mS cm<SUP>−1</SUP> at 20 °C, and showed a maximum value of 178.77 mS cm<SUP>−1</SUP> at 100 °C. The multi-block membranes exhibited low methanol permeability (2.75 × 10<SUP>−7</SUP> cm<SUP>2</SUP> s<SUP>−1</SUP>) at room temperature, which is one order of magnitude lower than that of Nafion® 117 (23.8 × 10<SUP>−7</SUP> cm<SUP>2</SUP> s<SUP>−1</SUP>). The crosslinked membranes showed excellent dimensional stability and alkaline stability with only a slight decrease in ionic conductivity.       • T-SPOT.TB for Detection of Tuberculosis Infection among Hematological Malignancy Patients and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Recipients

        The diagnosis of latent Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is recommended in hematological malignancy patients and before hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (Guidelines for the prevention and management of infectious complications of solid organ transplantation, 2004). Compared to traditional methods such as tuberculin skin test (TST), T-SPOT.TB has been shown to be more specific. In the present study we enrolled 536 patients for whom T-SPOT.TB was performed, among which 295 patients also received the TST test. The agreement (79%) between T-SPOT.TB and TST was poor (x=0.274, P<0.001). The patients with positive T-SPOT.TB results numbered 62 (11.6%), in which only 20 (48.8%) of the 41 receiving the TST test had positive results. A majority of the patients with T-SPOT.TB positive results had some other evidence ofTB, such as TB history, clinical symptoms and an abnormal chest CT scan. Active TB was found in 9 patients, in which 2 had negative TST results. We followed up the patients and no one developed active TB. Our study suggested that the T-SPOT.TB may be more useful for screening LTBI and active TB in hematological malignancy patients and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients than the TST test.

        A Study on the Relationship between Board Structure and Financial Risk in Chinese Manufacturing Companies

        재무위험의 존재가 기업의 생명을 위협하기 때문에 재무위험에 대한 연구는 재무회계분야에서 중요한 문제이다. 기업의 부적절한 재무위험 관리는 경영을 위기에 처하게 한다. 기업의 재무위험은 내부 또는 외부에 여러 가지 요인에 의해 발생시키며 하나의 예로, 불합리한 기업의 지배구조이다. 기업의 지배구조의 핵심으로서 이사회는 투자자를 대표하여 기업의 임원을 감독하므로 기업은 재무위험에 대하여 필연적인 책임을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이사회 구조와 재무위험에 관한 관계를 연구하였다. 즉, 이사회 규모, 직위 설정, 회의 빈도 및 지분율의 4가지 이사회 구조와 기업 재무위험 관계를 이론 및 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 2011-2018년 동안 중국 상하이 및 선전 주식 시장에서 A주 제조 기업을 대상으로 이사회 구조가 기업의 재무위험 수준에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 이를 위해 기술적 통계와 상관관계 및 선형회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 이사회 구조는 재무위험에 많은 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인했다. 이사회 규모, 회의 빈도는 기업의 재무위험과 유의한 양(+)의 관계가 있는 것으로 나타난 반면, 지분율은 재무위험에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 직위 설정과 재무위험 사이에는 부(-)의 값이 나타났으나 통계적으로는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 이사회의 규모, 직위 설정, 회의 빈도 및 지분율에 대한 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 기업의 이사회 구조 개선과 재무위험을 줄이는 방법을 설명하고 재무위험을 줄이기 위한 제안과 앞으로의 연구방향을 제시하였다. The study of financial risk is a critical issue in financial accounting because the existence of financial risk threatens the life of the enterprise. Improper handling of financial risks by companies puts business at risk. A company"s financial risk is caused by several internal or external factors such as unreasonable corporate governance structure. As the core of corporate governance, the board of directors supervises the executives of the company on behalf of the investor. So, the company is inevitably responsible for financial risk. Therefore, this study studied the relationship between board structure and financial risk. This study theoretically and empirically analyzes the relationship between board structure and corporate financial risk using four aspects which are board size, board position setting, board meeting frequency, and board share ratio. This study selected A-share manufacturing companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets in China during 2011-2018. In addition, descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient analysis, and linear regression analysis were used to study the impact of the board structure on corporate financial risks. This study found that the board structure of manufacturing companies had a greater impact on financial risk than other factors. board size and the frequency of board meetings also showed a significant correlation with the company"s financial risk. Shareholding ratio of board of directors was not significant for financial risk. There was an inverse correlation between board position setting and financial risk, but it was not statistically significant. Based on the results of this study, this study explains how to improve the company"s board structure and reduce financial risks and suggests proposals to reduce financial risks and further research direction.

In recent years, listed companies have been caught in financial crisis and even declared bankruptcy because of ignoring financial risks in pursuit of economic benefits. There are many factors that affect the financial risk of a company, such as irrational guarantee, managers ethical problems, adverse selection and improper related transactions. By analyzing these factors, it can be found that the unreasonable ownership structure influences the overall structure of the company from the root and it is the deep-rooted reason for the company which generate financial risks. As the blood of the stock market, the unreasonable share structure of the listed company affects the investors vital interests to a great extent and directly affects the continuous stability of the whole stock market and capital market. Therefore, this paper studies the relationship between the ownership structure of listed companies and financial risks from the perspective of ownership structure. Based on the theory of ownership structure and financial risk, the article firstly selects 1377 listed manufacturing enterprises in China from 2011 to 2017. And then from the four dimensions of ownership concentration, equity balance degree, equity liquidity, type of state-owned shares, the article puts forward the research hypothesis and build regression model. The statistical analysis method is used to describe the ownership structure and financial risk of listed companies in China s manufacturing industry. Finally, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted on the ownership structure and financial risks of listed companies in China s manufacturing industry by statistical analysis. The empirical results show that there are significant relationships between the ownership structure and financial risk of listed manufacturing enterprises. the relationship between ownership concentration and financial risks is significantly positive, the equity balance is negatively correlated with financial risk level, and the equity liquidity is not significantly negative correlated with financial risk level. The type of state-owned shares is positively correlated with the level of financial risk. The relationship between ownership concentration and financial risk is significantly positive, equity balance is negatively correlated with financial risk , and the proportion of outstanding shares is not significantly negative correlated with financial risk . The type of state-owned shares is positively correlated with the level of financial risk.

        De novo assembly and microsatellite marker development of the transcriptome of the endangered Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis

        Background Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis is an endemic freshwater fish in Northeast Asia, but experienced a dramatic population decline due to over-exploitation, deteriorated habitats and global climate change. It has been listed as a threatened or endangered species in South Korea and China, respectively. However, the conservation and restoration work in wild B. lenok tsinlingensis populations require large amount of genetic and molecular data to support effective management of genetic resources, while the corresponding information is very limited. Objective This study was conducted to generate transcriptome assembly and annotation, as well as to develop novel microsatellite markers for B. lenok tsinlingensis. Methods We collected gill and liver tissues and performed transcriptome sequencing. Then the first transcriptome for B. lenok tsinlingensis was de novo assembled and annotated. Microsatellite markers were searched in the assembled transcripts and characterized within ninety individuals collected from three natural sites. Results A total of 110,712 protein-coding transcripts were assembled, of which 82,861 transcripts were successfully annotated. This assembly displayed a high level of completeness with retrieving 94% of the single-copy orthologs conserved across vertebrate species. Furthermore, 75,891 microsatellite loci were identified from this transcriptome assembly and 20 polymorphic markers were randomly selected for characterization. Conclusions The microsatellite markers and the first transcriptome assembly would provide valuable resources for investigating genetic diversity and phylogeographic structure of wild populations and molecular mechanisms responding to stressful environments (e.g. increased water temperature) to guide future conservation studies and breeding programs.

        Characterization method of rolling bearing operation state based on feature information fusion

        Aiming at the problem of incomplete information covered by the bearing state discrimination using a single physical quantity as the data source, a characterization method based on the feature information fusion of multi-physical quantities including acceleration RMS and stiffness that are sensitive to the bearing operating state is proposed. The accelerated life test of the bearing is carried out through the bearing experiment bench, and the effect of different feature information fusion schemes to characterize the bearing state is compared, and the effectiveness of the method is verified. This paper also analyzes the different characteristics of the state evolution law between the bearing early failure caused by specific factors and the bearing reaching normal fatigue life, which provides a new method and idea for the maintenance strategy of rolling bearing such as condition-based maintenance.

        Large-scale production of (2,4-DHB)nM micro-nano spheres by spray drying and their application as catalysts for ammonium perchlorate

        A series of 2,4-dihydroxybenzoates {(2,4-DHB)nMs, M = Pb(II), Cu(II), Fe(III), Ni(II) and Co(II), n = 2 or 3}micro-nano spheres with controllable size and morphology were successfully prepared by spray dryingmethod with water or acetone as a solvent. TEM and SEM illustrated that the (2,4-DHB)nMs micro-nanospheres had core–shell or solid structure. The formation of the core–shell structure of the samples wasinterpreted in terms of the mechanism of spray drying. The results of laser particle analyzer revealed thatprecursor concentration (PC) and particle size distribution (PSD) of the samples were well fitted withpower function. The thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AP) in the presence of the (2,4-DHB)nMs micro-nano spheres, investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), showed theyeffectively lowered the decomposition temperature of AP and exhibited various catalytic performancefor AP decomposition.

      • Networks of MicroRNAs and Genes in Retinoblastomas

        Through years of effort, researchers have made notable progress in gene and microRNA fields about retinoblastoma morbidity. However, experimentally validated data for genes, microRNAs (miRNAs) and transcription factors (TFs) can only be found in a scattered form, which makes it difficult to conclude the relationship between genes and retinoblastoma systematically. In this study, we regarded genes, miRNAs and TFs as elements in the regulatory network and focused on the relationship between pairs of examples. In this way, we paid attention to all the elements macroscopically, instead of only researching one or several. To show regulatory relationships over genes, miRNAs and TFs clearly, we constructed 3 regulatory networks hierarchically, including a differentially expressed network, a related network and a global network, for analysis of similarities and comparison of differences. After construction of the three networks, important pathways were highlighted. We constructed an upstream and downstream element table of differentially expressed genes and miRNAs, in which we found self-adaption relations and circle-regulation. Our study systematically assessed factors in the pathogenesis of retinoblastoma and provided theoretical foundations for gene therapy researchers. In future studies, especial attention should be paid to the highlighted genes and miRNAs.
