노년기 자원봉사활동이 건강과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향: 노후준비 4대 영역을 중심으로

본 연구는 세계에서 유래를 찾아볼 수 없을 정도로 급속하게 진행되는 한국의 인구 고령화 문제에서 출발하였다. 특히 노년기의 건강과 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인의 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 노후준비의 하위 유형을 노후준비지원법의 4가지 영역과 연계하여 경제활동 상태, 주관적인 건강 상태, 여가활동의 만족도, 대인관계의 만족도로 구분하였다. 또한, 삶의 질은 전반적인 생활 만족도 척도를 통해서 노후준비와의 관계를 파악하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 국민노후보장패널조사(Korean Retirement and Income Study: KReIs)의 7차년도(2018년) 부가조사 자료에서 추출한 7,286명의 자료를 활용하였다. 연구 결과 노후준비의 4개 하위 유형은 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 건강과 경제활동뿐 아니라 자원봉사와 원만한 대인관계 유지 등 사회·정서적인 차원을 포함하는 통합적인 관점에서 노후준비의 정책 및 실천방안을 제시 하였다. This study originated from the problem of an aging population in South Korea, which is a rapidly progressing and unprecedented phenomenon. In particular, the study aims to explore various factors that affect health and quality of life in old age. To this end, the subtypes of preparation for old age were classified into economic activity status, subjective health status, leisure activity satisfaction, and interpersonal relations satisfaction; these classifications were made by linking the subtypes to the four areas of the Act on Supporting Preparation for Later Life. In addition, the quality of life was determined by the overall measure of life satisfaction, in order to identify the relationship with the preparation for old age. The subjects of this study were 7,286 people extracted from the supplementary survey data for the 7th year(2018) of the Korean Retirement and Income Study(KReIs), and SPSS 23.0 was used for data analysis. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that 4 subtypes of preparation for old age had a significant positive(+) effect on satisfaction with life. Based on these results, preparation for old age includes policies and action plans from an integrated perspective that includes not only health and economic activities, but also social and emotional preparation for old age, such as volunteering and maintaining smooth interpersonal relations.
An Efficient Compression Method in Wireless Sensor Networks

Sensor data exhibit strong correlation in both space and time. Many algorithms have been proposed to utilize these characteristics. However, each sensor just utilizes neighboring information, because its communication range is restrained. Information that includes the distribution and characteristics of whole sensor data provides other opportunities to enhance the compression technique. In this paper, we propose an orthogonal approach for compressing sensor readings based on a novel feedback technique. That is, the base station or a super node generates Huffman code for the compression of sensor data and broadcasts it into sensor networks as Huffman code. All sensor nodes that have received the information compress their sensor data and transmit them to the base station. We call this approach as feedback-diffusion and this modified Huffman coding as sHuffman coding. In order to show the superiority of our approach, we compare it with the existing data compression algorithms in terms of the lifetime of the sensor network. As a result, our experimental results show that the whole network lifetime was prolonged by about 30%.
ANYSEP: A Program Package for Store Separation Analysis

A program package for store separation analysis, SAFESEP, has been developed. The package includes CTS system software, 3-Dimensional visualization software, off-line store trajectory software and aerodynamic database software. In this paper, we describe the functions and the capabilities of the store separation analysis program package.
