      • 후암동, 신갈 및 행동리 山林地域에서 이슬 溶存元素量 : Huamdong, Shingal and Hangdongri

        산림 지역내에 형성되는 이슬의 특성과 그 용존원 소량을 파악하기 위하여 서울의 후암동(남산), 경기도 용인시 신갈, 강원도 평창군 행동리의 3개 산림지역을 대상으로 이슬을 채취하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 각 지역별로 채취된 이슬의 용존원소량은 신갈지역이 다른 2개 지역보다 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 후암동과 행동리는 유사한 경향을 보였다. 신갈지역의 용존원소량은 5월과 9월~10월에 증가하는 추세를 보였으며, 6월~8월에는 감소하는 경향을보였다. 2. 양이온의 함량을 지역별로 분석 비교해 본 결과, Ca^(2+), Na^(+) 그리고 K^(+)은 봄과 가을에 증가하는경향을 보였으며, Al^(3+)의 경우는 봄에 증가하였고, NH_(4)^(+)는 조사기간동안 다른 원소에 비해 비교적 일정한 값을 유지하는 경향을 보이고 있었다. 특히 음이온의 경우 8월에 Cl^(-)과 SO_(4)^(-)의 값이 행동리 지역에서 급격한 증가를 보였으며, 신갈 지역은 양이온과 마찬가지로 봄과 가을에 증가하는 결과를 보였다. This study was carried out to compare and ion contents of dew m three forest regions (Huamdong-Seoul, Shingal-Yonginsi, Hangdongn-Fyungchanggun). The results of this study were as follows; 1. Ion concentrations of dew m Shmgal showed the highest value. Ion contents of Shmgal region increased during May and from September to October, but decreased from June to August. 2. Cation contents (Ga^(2+), Na^(+) and K^(+)) of each regions were higher in spring and fall. During the experimental period, NH_(4) concentration was consistent as compared with other elements However anions (Cl^(-) and SO_(4)^(2-)) showed a large variation m Hangdongri. Anion concentration of dew in shmgal was high m spring and fall.

      • 高速道路邊 山林地域의 林外雨와 林內雨의 pH 및 化學的 組成

        The air pollution by acid pollutants is problematic is the whole world. Acidification of water has already been deteriorating the forest ecosystem. This study was conducted to analyze the acidity and chemical composition of the open precipitation and throughfall at forests affected by heavy traffic. The sites of this study were forest stands (Quercus mongolica, Pinus rigida) in the proximity of a heavy traffic road and forest stands of same species at a distance of 4 km from the highway. The results are as follows; The open precipitation pH was lowest in Seochun. The throughfall pH showed some buffering capacity only in Quercus mongolica stands. In Purus rigida (Shingal and Seochun) stands, there was little difference from the open precipitation. Chemical composition of the open precipitation for each sampling site showed that ion concentrations of Ca^(2+), NH_(4)^(+) and SO^(2-)_(4) had higher value than other ions, and except these ions, the small quantity of ions showed different properties specific to each site. Changes of ion concentrations in the throughfall showed a tendency to increase. Ion concentrations of the throughfall increased with washout and nutrient leaching from the trees.

      • Brucella abortus 국내 분리주의 Heat Shock Protein 암호 groE 유전자의 염기서열 분석과 발현

        GroE that is a heat shock protein composed of GroEL and GroES is known as an immunodominant target of both the humoral and cellular immune responses in bovine brucellosis. This study was carried out to characterize groE gene encoding heat shock proteins of B. abortus isolated in Korea and to evaluate the immunogenicity of the GroE protein expressed in E. coli system. In PCR the specific signals with the size of 2,077 bp were detected in five strains isolated from the mammary lymphnodes of the dairy cattle that were serologically positive and the reference strains. In comparison of the sequences of nucleotides and amino acids among the strains, GroES showed 100% identity in both sequences. GroEL was evaluated 99.0∼99.9% in nucleotides and 98.0∼100% homology in amino acids. The groE gene including groES and groEL was inserted into pET29a vector and constructed pET29a-GroE recombinant plasmids. The inserted groE was confirmed by digestion with Ncol and EcoRl endonucleases and nucleotide sequencing. E. coli BL (DE3) was transformed with pET29a-GroE, named as E. coli BL (DE3)/pET29a-GroE. In SDS-PAGE, it was evident that the recombinant plasmid effectively expressed the polypeptides for GroES (10 kDa) and GroEL (60 kDa) in 0.5, and 2 hours after IPTG induction. The immuno-reactivity of the expressed proteins were proved in mouse inoculation and Western blot analysis.

      • 再生産性 Bioenergy 資源의 生産 增大에 關한 硏究 (Ⅱ) : 버드나무 木質 資源의 Biomass 增産과 切口 萌芽의 發育 分布 The Woody biomass production and a sprout growth distribution of Salix koreensis Anderson

        代替에너지 資源의 生産性 增大를 爲해 樹種的 特性을 考慮한 集約 管理 體系의 短伐期林 造成 可能性 判斷 目的에서 遂行되어진 本 硏究에서는 休耕地의 土地 有用 轉換 戰略上 取해진 本質 資源의 綜合的 生産 硏究結果는 다음과 같이 要約되었다. 林內 閉耕沓에서의 自然 稙生 成長된 버드나무의 生産量은 plot 3, 4, 5 等이 높은 産物生産(34ton/ha/yr.)을 보임으로써 代替에너지 資源化에 依해 目的 造成된 林分의 收益 計算은 높게 나타났다. 이때 本質 資源의 生産 收入(289만원/hr/yr.)과 그 外 無機的 資源 生産으로 얻어진 間接 公益 機能 收入(約 2,760만원/hr/yr.)은 매우 높은 것으로 推定되었으며, 休耕地 62,500ha에서 얻어지는 山林 總 收益은 3,049만원/hr/yr.으로 나타나 全體的으로는 約 1조9천4십억원/yr.의 生産 收益을 算定할 수 있다. 以上의 結果는 資源林 造成에 對한 直, 間接的인 經濟 價値 算定으로 볼 때 山林內의 休耕 及 閉耕農地를 利用한 木質에너지 資源의 生産 增大를 爲한 資源林 造成 可能性은 높게 評價되었다. 이에 따라 特別한 環境的 條件을 除外한 對象休耕地에 對해서는 短伐期의 資源林 造成이 可能할 것으로 判斷, 對替에너지 資源林의 轉換 可能性 期待가 높이 나타나고 있다. 이와 같은 結果는 未來의 代替에너지 資源 開發을 爲한 短伐期 資源林을 造成하는 方案硏究에 奇與할 수 있을 것으로 期待되었다. This study was carried out to judge on possibility of application and introduce of forest of short period for exchangeable planting followed by characteristic of species in order to increase productivity of substitution energy resources. First of all, in order to fulfill this study it must be considered that environmental condition above resource production based on land utilization of resting cropland, and productivity of Salix koreensis Anderson grown under natural vegetation condition at closed a rice field forest showed very high(≒34ton/ha/yr.) contrast to each other. Thus, energy resources of planted-stand predicted in come of with woody resource of $3,612/ha/yr. and public in come of $35,840/ha/yr. earned by mineral resource, and the gross forest profit earned and resting cropland(62,500ha) showed $38,112/ha/yr., which will come to about 2.38 billion dollars a year. In view of the results so far achieved, possibility of establishment of energy resource forest at resting and closed cropland in forest predicted the highest in Salix koreensis Anderson stand. Therefore, this study was basic survey to develope future energy resources and compare biomass production with vegetation possibility and growth effect of Salix koreensis Anderson seedlings by environmental condition in natural stand. Based on this results, it must be survey during long time prior to the practice, and predicted possible for concrete a counter plan establishment about creation forest of short period for final cutting to substitution energy through diverse field analysis.

      • 京畿道 廣州地域 잣나무림의 樹冠形態 및 物質分配 硏究

        The importance of forest ecosystem has been raised as the recognition of the environmental problem is increasing. This study was carried out to investigate biomass of each organs(stem, branch, needle) of Pinus Koraiensis plantation if Kwangjugun, Kyunggido, Korea. The maximum values of stem length, and biomass for stem, branch and needle were shown at 6 to 8m height layer. Tree form is conical as usual for typical conifers. This growth pattern shows that crown has been formed, developed and destroyed from time to time. The biomass for each of the organs was distributed as follows : 53.83% by stem, 27.63% by needle and 18.50% by branch. This indicates that most of the biomass are allocated to the bottom part of the organs, which contributes to conical shape of the tree.

        3個 山林地域의 이슬의 酸性度 및 化學的 特性의 比較 : 서울, 龍仁, 平昌 地域을 中心으로 Mt. Nam in Seoul; Shingal, Yongin; Hangdong, Pyungchang

        This study was carried out to compare pH and chemical properties of dew in three forest stands(Mt. Nam-Seoul, Shingal-Yongin, Hangdong-Pyungchang)from May, 1998 to September, 1999. The results of this study were as follows; The acidity of dew in Seoul, which has a metropolitan environment, measured pH5.57±0.41. The highest acidity was measured in Yongin(pH5.50±0.96), while pH in Pyungchang was 6.36±0.57. Ion concentration in Pyungchang was lower than in other two regions, with a similar tendency of seasonal cation changes to those in Seoul and Yongin. Anion changes in Pyungchang, however, was inconsistent with those in other two regions. Although analyses of correlation coefficients showed that there was no significant correlation between overall ion concentrations and pH of dew, there was highly significant correlations between some cations and anions in Seoul and Yongin, leading a suggestion that those ions were coupled from one source.

      • 妊娠中毒症을 同伴한 妊産婦 및 新生兒 血淸 Immunoglobulins에 關한 硏究

        It has long been considered that toxemia of pregnancy might be an immunologic process and this study was designed to explore possible abnormalities in the immunologic process in toxemic pregnant women. IgG. IgA and IgM were measured by radial immunodiffusion plate technique in maternal and umbilical cord sera of toxemic patients and in normal pregnant cases at the time of delivery. The values obtained in the toxemic patients were compared with those from the normal term pregnant women, and the following results were obtained. 1. The level of IgG in maternal sera of toxemic group mere significantly decreased than that of the normal pregnant group. (p<0.05) 2. The levels of IgA and IgM in maternal sera demonstrated no significant difference between normal pregnant and toxemic patients. 3. Though the levels of IgG and IgA in cord sera of toxemic patient were slightly lower than those of the normal pregnant group, the difference was not statistically significant. 4. The level of IgM in cord sera of toxemic group was markedly lower than that of normal pregnant group and the difference was statistically significant. (p<0.05)

        조선소 근로자에서의 국소진동장해 진단방법에 대한 평가

        A hand-arm vibration syndrome, local vibration illness, occurs in some workers who use hand held vibration tools. It consists of white fingers, diffusely distributed finger neuropathy, pain in the hand and arm, and a small excess risk of osteoarthritis. This study is aimed to identify effective methods to confirm local vibration illness among various health exams, which are mentioned in worker's special health exam regulation. In addition, this study is aimed to quantitatively assess the daily vibration exposure level as a major determinant of vibration illness. The subjects, 46 vibration workers, were selected according to the results of the first special health exam about vibration hazards at shipbuilding industry in 1997. They all had experiences of work related blanching of fingers. Fifteen controls, who had no vibration exposure at all, were also recruited to compare their test results with the results of vibration workers. We adopted I subjective and 6 objective tests to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility for confirming local vibration illness. These tests were history taking of subjective symptoms according to the Stockholm classification, checking blood pressure of finger, checking grasp power, checking finger skin temperature, nail-bed pressing test, vibration perceptional threshold test, and skin prick test for pain perception. Among these, checking skin temperature, nail-bed pressing test, and vibration perception test included cold water provocations. We also estimated some vibration exposure levels of hand held vibration tools by using previously published data from one automobile company. In conclusion, history taking of subjective symptoms according to the Stockholm classification, nail-bed pressing test, and vibration perceptional threshold test were discovered to be effective to diagnose local vibration illness. Furthermore, vibration perceptional threshold on right fingers showed a dose-response relationship to daily vibration exposure levels. The parameter β was 0.0005(±0.0002), and statistically significant by REM(random effects model).
