Given the rapid growth of home-building industry, the market of cultured marble wash-basin has been developed over the past two decades. Since the late 70's, the construction of large-scale apartment complex has resulted in significant growth in wash-basin market. The early market of wash-basin was largely dominated by earthenware. However, the needs for trash-basket, changes in design and colour, and high-quality were substituted marble wash-basin for earthenware. That is the material advantages of which marble have design change easily, smart finishing touches, size stability, etc. Especially, marble has the material property of making product not restricted by size. And the case of product development of marble wash-basin of Dong-Bang corporation was introduced. Base on this study, the market of cultured marble wash-basin will be more grow and all new items will be of the highest quality toward functional product.
페트리 네트(Petri Net)를 利用한 FMS 모델 表現 方法

Petri Nets is one of the analytical technique for solution of FMS problems. It is a graphical and mathematical modeling and promising tool for describing and studying systems that are characterized as being concurrent, asychronous, dynamic, distributed and parrallel. The objective of this study is to described analytical techniques of FMS and presented for FMS model by using Petri Net.

In the hardening process of cultured marble bath-tub and wash-basin, it is important to maintain an average temperature condition. That is why that quality of cultured marble product is settled by the accurate temperature condition. This paper focus on hardening way to improve productivity of cultured marble products. And new hardening way which is used infrared rays is introduced. New way apply tube-heater in hardening the marble products. According to the example of 'D' company, excellency of this way is established.

This case study illustrates a number of key issues involved in the product development of cultured marble bath-tub. Many various products of cultured marble bath-tub were introduced to meet the needs of consumers according to the growth of the home-building industry. The success of marble products is based partly on creating and producing high quality, beauty, and colour and on advanced technologies of automation and mass production. In recent years items have ranged from Curio, β-curio to Flora, Onyx in line with a price level. For example, the case of product development of β-curio and Flora of 'Dong-Bang' Corporation was introduced. The product life cycle of the cultured marble bath-tub will be continue long because of having the naturally material advantages of which marble have design change easily, finishing touches, and size stability and the trend of the product development of cultured marble bath-tub is to the elegant and high-quality.
Petri Nets 모델 개발에 의한 FMS 출력율 분석에 관한 연구

Petri Nets are a graphical and mathematical modeling and promising tool for describing and studying systems that are characterized as being concurrent, asychronous, dynamic, distributed and parrallel. The purpose of this paper is to analyze FMS Throughout-Rate by development of Petri Nets. So, it applied to FMS composed of 7 machines and 4 different job types. The result of this paper shows the advantage of using Petri Nets.
능동필터 제어시스템을 위한 검출노이즈 저감방법에 관한 연구

Active Power Filters(APF) have been developed for several years to solve the harmonics disturbance problems on power system networks. Control scheme of the proposed system is the Voltage Regulated Current Source Power Filter(VR-CSPF) that has a function to control the voltage of inverter output capacitor. Differential term is necessary to calculate voltage drop in VR-CSPF system. Since inverter switching action has occurred inherently in APF both switching or outside white nosis affect seriously at control signal. If control signal with added noise is differentiated, then high frequency noise becomes amplified more and more. Thus high frequency noise reduction method is needed for accurate operation. Hence this paper describes reduction method about amplified differential noise problems and its antinoise performances at VR-CSPF control system are studied by simulation and experiment
고형배지의 종류가 수경재배 멜론의 품종별 과실의 생육과 품질에 미치는 영향

In order to examine how growth substances influence to fruit growth and its quality, we cultivated 3 different kinds of melons which grown in hydroponic system into 3 different types of growth substances, such as perlite, perlite/rock wool and rock wool/perlite. In this experiment, “Siroi Kagayaki”, showed no significant difference in fruit weight and its diameter in any of growth substances, but higher in plant height in perlite/rock wool than Perlite. In case of “TS-1806”, there were no significant differences in soluble solids, fruit weight and diameter in all the substances. However, it showed longer in fruit length in rock wool / perlite than that in perlite/ rock wool. In addition, the soluble solids in placenta and flesh were higher in perlite than those in rock wool/perlite.

For modern business firms, the most important factor in determining comprtitiveness of a firm is technology, rather than capital. Technogical innovation is a driving force to develop an economy and is essential in growth and/or survival of a business firm. Following studies concerned with this subject, small business firms seem to be more efficient in technological innovation and developing new technology in several respects. Espercially in the new technology based industries, the small business firms have several advantages in technological innovation. In this study, we tried to show how to plan a technology development strategy in relation to management strategy when small business of theoretical and empirical study, we aimed to show the way to efficient management and procedure of technological innovation. For the research methodology, we firstly reviewed and analyzed current and previous studies about technological innovation strategy, efficient management, and selection of R&D projects. Secondly, the results of this theoretical study was examined empirically. The empirical study contains 153 questionaires and 30 interviews for business firms of this area. In addition, for the evaluation criteria for the selection of R&D projects, we sent questionaires to 60 professors who teaches R&D OR in university or college level. The result of these questionaires was analyzed and compared with that of the business firms of this area. The result of this empirical study shows that top management of small business firms should notice the importance of technological innovation and try to stimulate R&D activity. For the evaluation criteria for R&D projection, the criteria which could reduce the possibility of future uncertainty, maximize profit, and he suited for the situation of the business firm, should be established.

This study focus on the development of new molding ways of the cultured marble washbasin & bathtub to produce higher quality goods. On looking back upon the past 30 years in the market of the washbasin & bathtub, our product quality level was below the standard and the production facility was largely imported goods. And the inferior quality leads to the unsatisfaction of customer. But the leading companies are have been concentrated their effort on the productivity and quality improvement. In this study, we introduced the success case of "BACHE" which gained productivity improvement by developing the molding process.
