      • Procaine Amide及 Quinidine이 數種實驗的 不整脈에 미치는 效果에 對한 比

        The antiarrhythmic and arrhythmytogenic effects of quinidine and procaine amide were investigated on the artificially produced arrhythmias in the whole rabbit and rat. Both quinidine and procaine amide could protect the rabbit from developing suba?rial thythms by the coaction of vagal stimulation and sympathomimetic amine: l-norepinephrine, l-eponephrine or isoproterenol. The comparison of the potency of these amines to produce ectopc beats during vagalstimulation by the smallest dose of each amine revealed isoproterenol to be much more potent than the others, as shown in other species. In the rabbit, quinidine seemed to potentiate the arrhythmytogenic effect of the intravenous aconitine, Whereas procaine amide lessened those of aconitine in some cases. The bradycardia developed by intravenous serotonin in the rat was almost ablished by the pretreament of procaine amide, but quinidine- pretreatment made the serotonin bradycardia more pronounced and prolonged.

        In view of the fact that the corporations of our country are now being compeled to disclose themselves to the public, the writer tried to define the meaning of disclosure of corporations as being disclosure of accounts along with dispersing or disclosing their stocks to the public. I emphasized that the disclosure of accounts would contribute to protecting the interested parties around the corporations and simultaneously expediting the rationalization of management through the introduction of external audit system. On the other hand, I suggested that through dispersing the stocks of close corporations to the general investors and also financing themselves directly from the stock investors instead of private money lenders, they could not only attain their object of rationalizing their management but also enlarge themselves. I urged, however, that this problem should be solved by the disclosure of accounts prior to the dispersing of stocks and that the disclosure of accounts must be done step by step and not in a hurry from the view point of Korean economic stage. As for the dispersing of stocks, I foresee that it would be achieved by the development of the stock market where stocks will be transacted smoothly under the adequate appraisals of the general investors for the stocks. Thus, I appreciate very highly the current 5.29 executive measures as being a most reasonable policy which will expedite a long stride development of Korean enterprise. However, I consider that it would be more advisable to adopt the method of step-by-step rather than that of a hurry. By C.W.Kim

        상악호선에 torque 부여시 나타나는 상반작용에 관한 유한요소법적 연구

        This study was designed to investigate the reciprocal movement which was derived form application of active torque in ideal archwire by computer-aided three-dimensional finite element analysis of maxillary teeth and surrounding periodontal ligament composed of 2617 elements and 3725 nodes. Ideal archwire model was also made using the beam elements and the contact between the wire and the bracket slot was made using the gap element. In this study non-linear elastic behaviors of contact between the wire and the bracket slot were considered on. We put the active torque between the lateral and cenral incisor and between the second premolar and the first molar with/without cinch-back. The results were expressed by quantitative and visible ways. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. Reciprocal actions to active torque were complex system consisting of a combination of counter-torque, bucco-lingual linear displacement and tipping, rotation of the teeth, occluso-gingival linear displacement. 2. when active anterior crown labial torque was applied, crown labial tippings of the lateral were the greatest, and those of the central incisor was the next. Crown lingual tippings of the canine and the first premolar, mesial rotations and extrusion of the lateral and distal rotations and intrusion of the canine occurred. When anterior torque with the cinch-back was applied, amount of crown labial tippings of the lateral and central incisor were reduced. Amount of crown lingual tipping of the canine and the first premolar were increased. Mesial tippings and mesial rotations of the second, molar occurred. 3. When active posterior crown lingual torque was applied, crown lingual tippings of the first moalr were the greatest, and crown labial tippings of the second premolar and the first premolar were the next, the crown lingual tipping of the second molar were a little. Mesial rotations of the second premolar occurred but those of the first premolar didn't occurred.

      • Holographic Interferometry를 이용한 탄성 고무 인상재의 체적변화에 관한 연구

        This study investigated the time-dependent dimensional changes of elastomeric impression materials using holographic interferometry. Six commercial impression materials, Permlastic(polysulfide), Xantopren VI, (condensation silicone), low and medium viscosity of Exafine, Provil (addition silicone), and Impregum( polyether), were selected. Steel plate was used as custom tray, and each impression specimen was 20 mm in width, 15 mm in length and 3 mm in thickness. Each impression material was evaluated at 30 minutes, 1, 2 4, 6, 8 and 12 hours after setting using real-time holography. The results were as follow 1. Xantopren VL and Permlastic showed relatively severe and continuous dimensional changes after setting. Low viscosity of Exafine, Provil, Impregum showed relatively slight dimensional changes with function of time and medium viscosity of Exafine showed almost no dimensional change from 2 hours after setting to 6 hours. 2. On initial dimensional changes within 1 hour, the amount of change in low viscosity of Exafine was the least and Xantopren VL was the largest. 3. On dimensional changes at 4 hours after setting, the amount 'of change in medium viscosity of Exafine was the least and the change of Xantopren VL was the largest. 4. In overall dimensional stability during 12 hours, medium viscosity of Exafine was the most stable and Xantopren VL and Permlastic were least stable.

        It has reached the results as follows to measure the isometric muscle power on 42 ballet-major women college students and 42 general college women inorder to find the isometric muscle power of the ballet-major students. 1)The peak torque of the average femoral flexors of ballot-maior women college students was found to be 37.7±7.70 in 60°·S-1 of angular velocity. to be 30.29±6.52 in 180˚·S-1, and 23.39±8.06 in 300˚·S-1. In the case of the femoral extensors, the one was shown to be 71.86±9.44 in 60˚·S-1. to be 78.29± 10.44 in 180˚·S-1. and 39.86±8.78 in 300˚·S-1. 2)For general women-college student, the peak torque of the avcrage frmoral flexorswas found to be 38.1±6.31 in 60˚·S-1 of angular velocity, to be 28.00±5.51 in 780˚·S-1. and 21.86±5.43 in 300˚·S-1. high-speed angular velocity, The femoral extensors was 78.29± 10.44 in 60˚·S-1, to be 51.14±7.97 in 180˚·S-1, and 36.86±8.78 in 300˚·S-1. 3)The meaningfulness on the isometric femoral flexors of 60˚·S-1 (P>0.64), 180˚·S-1 (P>0.69), and 300˚·S-1(P>0.36), and In the femoral extensors. the one was 60˚·S-1(P>0.0.81). 180˚·S-1(P>0.49). and 300˚·S-1(P>0.61). there was no statistical meaningfulness, either. 4)In connection will % body weight, the peak torque of the isometric femoral flexors of ballet-major women college students was found to be 34.29±7.13 in 60˚·S-1 of angular velocity, to be 27.47±6.37 in 180˚·S-1, and 21.14±7.84 in 300˚·S-1, while in the femoral extensors 60˚·S-1 of angular velocity was 65.57±9.95, 180˚·S-1 was 42.29±7.97, and 36.86±8.78 300˚·S-1. 5)The femoral flexors of % peak torque of general women college students was found to be 33.57±3.87 in 60˚·S-1 of angular velocity, 24.71±4.07 in 170˚·S-1, and 19.14±4.81 in 300˚·S-1. The femoral extensors resulted in 69.71±7.25 in 60˚·S-1,45.29±6.05 in 180˚·S-1, and 35.14±7.27 in 300˚·S-1. 6)In connection with % body weight, the statistical meaningfulness of the isometric femoral flexors was found to be 60˚·S-1 of angular velocity(P>0.16). 180˚·S-1 (P>0.29), 300˚·S-1(P>0.25), and there was no it. The femoral extensors was 60˚·S-1 of angular velocity(P>0.47), 180˚·S-1 (P>0.97). and 300˚·S-1 (P>0.80), there was no statistical meaningfulness, either. 7)In case ballet-major women college students. the ratio between the femoral flexors and extensors showed 50% of range in 60˚·S-1. 61% in 180˚·S-1 and 66% in 300˚·S-1, while in case of general college women it showed 49% in 60˚·S-1.55% in 180˚·S-1 and 55% in 300˚·S-1.

The sucessful manger in systems approach must be a good diagnostician and must value a spirt of inguiry. Finally he must have the personal flex ibility and the range of skills necessary to vary his own behavior.
