        태양열 건조 시스템에 관한 실험적 연구(Ⅱ) - 벼의 태양열 건조 특성 -

        곡물 bin을 이용한 벼의 건조실험을 수행하여 상온통풍건조 시스템과 태양열 건조 시스템의 건조 특성을 비교하여 분석하였다. 태양열 건조의 시뮬레이션 모형에 대한 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였으며 시뮬레이션 모형에 의한 함수율의 예측치는 실측치와 전체적으로 일치하였다.<br/> 또한, inverter를 사용하여 벼의 건조 상태에 따라 송풍량을 적절하게 제어하는 송풍량 제어 시스템을 개발하였으며, 개발된 송풍량 제어 시스템을 통하여 에너지 절약 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. In-bin grain drying experiments were performed to investigate the drying characteristics between natural air and solar heated-air drying system of rough rice. A computer simulation model for solar drying system of rough rice resulted in a good agreement between the experimental and predicted moisture content.<br/> In order to save the electric energy consumption of fan, airflow rates control system using inverter was developed and resulted in the effect of energy saving.

        Methanol have been considered for use as automotive fuels since two times energy crisis in the 1970's, but it have a defect that the great latent heat of vaporization. So the authors made the fuel vapoizing device in order to heat the mixture and eliminate the fuel film flow. Therefore this paper presents a study on the characteristics of vaporization and engine power output using the fuel vaporizing device according to the change of heating water temperature.

      • 가변 실린더 수에 의한 자동차 연료 소비율의 개선

        This paper presents an effective way of improving fuel consumption for a variable displacement engine. The improvement of fuel consumption can be accomplished by means of deactivating inlet and exhaust valves, reducing the number of effective cylinders, which is four-cylinder gasoline engine that mounted on a domestic compact automobile. In case of having 2 effective cylinders, a maximum improvement of fuel consumption (about 30%) can be obtained at the running speed of 50km/h or less and under low load condition. And also at idle, improvement of fuel consumption is about 30%. Also it may be possible to reduce the speed of idling. In case that the number of effective cylinders is 3, the improvement of fuel consumption is below 10%, but the extent of operation is broadened.

        색상 측정 기기를 이용한 복합레진 적층 수복과 단일 수복의 색상 비교 분석

        Objectives: This study analyzed the difference in color caused by different thickness in enamel layer of composite resins when applied with single and layering placement technique, and evaluated if the results agreed with the shade guide from the manufacturers to verify reliability of the color matching process of the manufacturers. Materials and Methods: For single composite resin samples, 6 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness cylindrical samples were fabricated using Ceram-X mono (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and CIE L*a*b* values were measured with spectrophotometer. Same process was done for layering compositie resin samples, making 3 dentinal shade samples, 4 mm thickness, for each shade using Ceram-X duo (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and enamel shade resins were layered in 2 mm thickness and CIE L*a*b* values were measured. These samples were ground to 0.2 mm thickness each time, and CIE L*a*b* values were measured to 1 mm thickness of enamel shade resin. Results: Color difference (△E*) between single and layering composite resin was 1.37 minimum and 10.53 maximum when layering thicknesses were between 1 mm and 2 mm and 6 out of 10 same shade groups suggested by manufacturer showed remarkable color difference at anythickness (△E* > 3.3). Conclusion: When using Ceram-X mono and duo for composite resin restoration, following the manufacturer's instructions for chossing the shade is not appropriate, and more accurate information for Ceram-X duo is needed on the variation and expression of the shades depending on the thickness of the enamel.         장애인 태권도 선수의 스포츠 열정이 경기수행능력에 미치는 영향

        The objective of the study is to analyze the impact of disabled taekwondo players’ sports passion on their match performance ability. For the research, a total of 146 male and female disabled taekwondo players for competitions and stance matches who are registered to Korea Taekwondo Association for the Disabled in 2015 and 2016 was used for the final analysis. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis), reliability coefficient, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis, and the results are as follows: First, as a result of the analysis on the differences in sports passion according to disabled taekwondo players’ sociodemographic characteristics, sports passion in relation to both sports types and disability types showed statistical differences in obsessive passion. Also, sports passion according to award experience had statistical differences in obsessive passion. Second, as a result of the analysis on the differences in match performance ability according to disabled taekwondo players’ sociodemographic characteristics, match performance ability showed statistical differences in psychological maturity according to gender. Match performance ability in relation to match types showed statistical differences in match performance success, match performance maturity and psychological maturity, and that according to award experience in match performance success. Third, the analysis on the impact of disabled taekwondo players’ sports passion on match performance success and psychological maturity revealed that a sub-factor of sports passion, obsessive passion, had statistically significant influence. Also, disabled taekwondo players’ sports passion had impact on match performance maturity; sub-factors of sports passion including obsessive passion and harmonious passion showed statistically significant impact. Finally, as for the result of analysis on the impact of disabled taekwondo players’ sports confidence on psychological maturity, the predictive analysis on a sub-factor of match performance ability, psychological maturity, revealed that there was impact on physical and psychological preparedness, social support and proof of ability, while no influence on coaches’ leadership.

        Effect of γ-Irradiation on the Molecular Properties of Bovine Serum Albumin and β-Lcatoglobulin

        To elucidate the effect of oxygen radicals on the molecular properties of proteins, the secondary and tertiary structure and molecular weight size of BSA and β-lactoglobulin were examined after irradiation of proteins at various doses. Gamma-irradiation of protein solufions caused the disruption of the ordered structure of protein molecules as well as degradation, cross-linking, and aggregation of the polypeptide chains. As a model system, BSA and β-lactoglobulin were used as a typical α-helical and a β-sheet structure protein, respectively A circular dichroism study showed that the increase of radiation decreased the ordered structure of proteins with a concurrent increase of aperiodic structure content. Fluorescence spectroscopy indicated that irradiation quenched the emission intensity excited at 280 nm. SDS-PAGE and a gel permeation chromatography study indicated that radiation caused initial Fragmentation of proteins resulting in a subsequent aggregation due to cross-linking of protein molecules.

        "Leak Current" correction for critical current measurement of no-insulation HTS coil

        Discrepancy between a power supply current and an actual "spiral" coil current makes the conventional 4-probe measurement of a critical current ($I_c$) of a no-insulation (NI) high temperature superconductor (HTS) coil inaccurate and time-consuming. This paper presents a fast and accurate approach for $I_c$ measurement of NI HTS coils. With an NI HTS coil energized at a constant ramping rate, a complete analytic expression for the spiral coil current was obtained from a first-order partial differential equation that derived from an equivalent circuit model of the NI coil. From the analytic solution, both spiral coil current and radial leak current can be obtained simultaneously, which enables fast and accurate measurement of the NI coil $I_c$. To verify the proposed approach, an NI double-pancake (DP) coil, wound with GdBCO tapes of $6mm{\times}0.1mm$, was constructed and its $I_c$ was repeatedly measured with various ramping rates in a bath of liquid nitrogen at 77 K. The measured results agreed well with the calculated ones, which validates the proposed approach to measure $I_c$ of an NI HTS coil.

        본 논문은 차세대 광대T역 이동통신 응용을 위한 새로운 구조와 고성능을 갖는 InGaAsP MQW 비대칭 FP변조기를 소개하고저 하며 솔리톤 전송을 위한Microwave Photonic 소자는 3GHz의 동작대역을 갖으며 이동통신응용을 위한 air-bridged 소자는 10 GHz의 고속동작 대역을 갖으며 이들의 측정 결과와 시스템 시험결과를 보였다. 본 AFPM은 동작전력이 적으며 저손실, 고선형성 특성을 갖으며 광섬유와 쉽게 배열될 수 있는 장점을 갖는다. This paper presents the development of InGaAsP multiple quantum well asymmetric Fabry-Perot modulator (AFPM), which have a new structure and high performance and describes measurements of devices operating at 3 GHz for soliton applications and at 10GHz for the next generation mobile communications. Advantages of the AFPM include low drive voltage and loss, high linearity and simple fibre alignment.

        Effects of Neck and Trunk Stabilization Exercise on Balance in Older Adults

        Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of neck and trunk stabilization exercise on static and dynamic balance in older adults. Methods: A total of 30 older adults participated in this study. Participants were randomly assigned to the neck and trunk stabilization exercise group (NTSG) (n=15) or the trunk stabilization exercise group (TSG) (n=15). The NTSG performed a trunk stabilization exercise added to a neck stabilization exercise that included biofeedback. Both groups received training for 30 minutes per day three times per week for eight weeks. The anterior, posterior limit of stability and sway length was used to measure static balance ability, while the timed up and go (TUG) test was used to measure dynamic balance ability. Results: Participants showed significant differences in sway length, anterior limit of stability, posterior limit of stability, and the results of the TUG test between their pre- and post mediation evaluations (p<0.05). The NTSG showed a more significant increase than the TSG (p<0.05). Conclusion: According to the results of this study, both exercises effectively improved static and dynamic balance ability. However, the neck and trunk stabilization exercise is more efficient for increasing the balance ability of older adults.
