        푸드뱅크 기탁식품의 안전성 확보를 위한 HACCP 제도 적용

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems arising from the actual conditions of the Foodbank, and to implement the HACCP system as a solution in terms of increasing the safety of donated food within the Foodbank. In order to apply HACCP system, the entire Foodbank working process such as preparation, collection, transportation, division, and distribution was considered and analyzed to decide the application point for CCPs. Donated foods mainly consisted of processed foods, raw materials, lunch boxes, and cooked foods from mass catering establishments, which dominated over the others in terms of quantity. Cooked foods were divided into three groups based on menu-types and processing methods. Temperature, pH, and aw were measured on cooked foods, and Total Plate Count, Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, and E. coli O157:H7 were conducted in order to apply a HACCP plan. Form these experiments, temperature, pH, and aw of donated food were likely contributed to microbial growth. Donated foods before HACCP implementation showed high numbers in terms of total plate count and Coliforms, both well over the acceptable standard levels. By setting the CCPs on maintenance of donated food below 10℃ and using a 75 ℃ reheating method, microbiological hazard levels were able to be controlled and lowered. From these results, it is concluded that in order to guarantee food safety, foods donated to the Foodbank must not only maintain a reasonable level of initial microbiological growth, but also must be handled properly through time and temperature controls within the Foodbank system. Furthermore, in terms of implementing the HACCP plan within the Foodbank management structure, basic food safety and sanitation measures, such as reheating facilities and various cold chain systmes such as refrigerated vehicle for food transportation are importantly needed. The training and education of Foodbank personnel and management in areas such as awareness of hygiene and safe food handling and practice are also required and necessary.

        Optimal Wrist Design of Wrist-hollow Type 6-axis Articulated Robot using Genetic Algorithm

        In arc-welding applying to the present automobile part manufacturing process, a wrist-hollow type arc welding robot can shorten the welding cycle time, because feedability of a welding wire is not affected by a robot posture and thus facilitates high-quality arc welding, based on stable feeding with no entanglement. In this paper, we will propose the optimization of wrist design for a wrist-hollow type 6-Axis articulated robot. Specifically, we will perform the investigation on the optimized design of inner diameter of hollow arms (Axis 4 and Axis 6) and width of the upper arm by using the simulation of robot motion characteristics, using a Genetic Algorithm (i.e., GA). Our simulations are based on SolidWorks<SUP>®</SUP> for robot modeling, MATLAB<SUP>®</SUP> for GA optimization, and RecurDyn<SUP>®</SUP> for analyzing dynamic characteristics of a robot. Especially RecurDyn<SUP>®</SUP> is incorporated in the GA module of MATLAB<SUP>®</SUP> for the optimization process. The results of the simulations will be verified by using RecurDyn<SUP>®</SUP> to show that the driving torque of each axis of the writs-hollow 6-axis robot with the optimized wrist design should be smaller than the rated output torque of each joint servomotor. Our paper will be a guide for improving the wrist-hollow design by optimizing the wrist shape at a detail design stage when the driving torque of each joint for the wrist-hollow 6-axis robot (to being developed) is not matched with the servomotor specifications.

Objectives: We aimed to evaluate the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of citron essential oils on the activated keratinocytes in vitro. Methods: We used normal human epidermal keratinocytes (NHEKs) derived from neonatal foreskin. In order to evaluate the antioxidant activities of citron, DPPH radical scavenging activity, intra- and extracellular ROS generation and expressions of anti-oxidant enzymes (HO-1, Prx-1, CAT, SOD-2; Mn-SOD) were analyzed. Also, to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of citron essential oils on epidermal cells, NHEKs were stimulated with TNFα and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1), IL-8 were induced. These mediators were analyzed after treatment of citron seed and unripe citron oils, and also EGCG as a control. The analysis was performed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR, immunocytofluorescence and ELISA. Results: mRNA and protein levels of VEGF, TRPV1, and IL-8 of activated keratinocytes were suppressed by citron seed and unripe citron oils. Conclusion: These results show that citron essential oils possess both anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic properties, which indicate that this agent may be a valuable adjuvant treatment candidate for rosacea.

      • A case of herpes zoster followed by erythema multiforme

        Erythema multiforme (EM) is a skin condition considered as a hypersensitivity reaction to infections or drugs. While HSV infection is the most common predisposing factor, the association of herpes zoster (HZ) with EM is rarely reported. Herein, we report a rare case of EM preceded by HZ in a 83-year-old male. The patient with no underlying disease presented with an asymptomatic erythematous targetoid plaques on his entire body, which occurred 5 days prior. He also reported a 2 weeks-history of HZ on his Rt. T7-8 dermatome. Histopathologic findings of erythematous targetoid plaque showed dense and diffuse inflammation from the superficial to deep dermis, which were composed of neutrophils, lymphocytes, histiocytes and eosinophils. Based on clinical findings and histologic features, EM was diagnosed. In addition, we performed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with the skin tissue specimen of EM lesion. As far as we know, this is the first case of HZ followed by EM in Korean literature. We suggest that physicians should be aware that HZ associated EM may occur simultaneously.

        Calcium Silicate Hydrate (C-S-H), which takes up most of the hydration products of Portland Cement (PC), has the greatest impact on the mechanical behavior and strength development of concrete. The exact mechanism of its deformation, however, has not yet been elucidated. The present study aims to demonstrate the mechanism of nano-deformation behavior of C-S-H in tricalcium silicate paste under compressive loading, unloading and reloading by interpreting atomic pair distribution function (PDF) based on synchrotron X-ray scattering. The strain of the tricalcium silicate paste for a short-range of 0 ~ 20 A under compressive load exhibited two stages, I) nano-packing of interlayer of C-S-H and II) micro-packing of C-S-H globules, whereas the deformation for a long-range order of 20 ~ 40 A was similar to that of a calcium hydroxide phase measured by Bragg peak shift. Moreover, the residual strains due to the plastic deformation of C-S-H was clearly observed.

        Recently, supplementary cementitious materials such as blast-furnace slag, fly ash and silica fume have been widely used as substitutes for cementitious materials. In this study, the deformation behavior of compressive loading of C<sub>3</sub>S paste with 50% fly ash was analyzed by X-ray scattering data and pair distribution function analysis. The obtained results were compared with 131-day-old pure C<sub>3</sub>S paste. The Ca(OH)<sub>2</sub> of the C<sub>3</sub>S-FA paste showed almost complete elastic behavior, consistent with the deformation behavior of the r-range of 20 to 40, and the C-S-H phase contributed to the range of PDF r-range of less than 20. In addition, C-S-H of C<sub>3</sub>S-FA showed greater deformation resistance than C<sub>3</sub>S paste.

      • A case of clear cell sarcoma with BRAF mutation

        Clear cell sarcoma (CCS) is a rare malignant tumor of tendon and aponeuroses involving the distal extremities of young adults. At times, histological examination alone is insufficient for complete diagnosis. The deep location along with t(12;22)(q12;q12) are the characteristic features distinguishing from metastatic melanoma. Also, whereas BRAF mutations are commonly found in cutaneous melanoma, it is rarely present in CCS. Herein, we report a rare case of CCS with positive BRAF mutation. A 71 year-old female presented with a deep-seated tender 2x2cm sized subcutaneous nodule on the medial side of the right sole which started only 8 months ago. Histopathology from excisional biopsy showed dermal tumor composed of bundles of spindle cells and epithelioid cells with clear cytoplasm, separated by thick fibrous tissue. Immunostains with Positive S-100 and HMB-45 were positive, and RT-PCR revealed EWSR1-ATF fusion gene. We made a diagnosis of CCS. Interestingly, we also detected BRAF mutation from the lesion by sequencing. Wide excision and radical lymph node dissection was performed after positive SLNB results with several lymph node (LN) invasions. Considering the fast clinical progression consisting of short term presentation with several LN metastasis, relatively poor outcome is expected in this patient. We present a rare case of CCS clear cell sarcoma with BRAF mutation, and we expect BRAF inhibitors can be considered in this case.

      • P051 : Study of primary systemic cancers accompanying melanoma

        Background: While the genetics and pathogenesis of melanoma still remains unclear, there have been previous few case reports regarding possible genetic relevance and clinical coexistence of primary cutaneous melanoma and systemic cancers other than melanoma. But, there are no studies aboutprimary systemic cancer and melanoma in Korea Objectives: To analyze the epidemiologic and clinical features, and incidences of primary systemic cancers accompanied with primary cutaneous melanoma Methods: Cross-sectional study was done with 465 melanoma patients who visited our hospital from 1994 to 2014. We reviewed cancer registry datas, medical charts, clinical photographs, and histopathologic results of the patients Results: Acral lentiginous melanoma was the most common histopathologic subtype (62.3%) followed by mucosal melanoma (22.1%), nodular melanoma (7.6%), superficial spreading melanoma (17.4%), and amelanotic melanoma (1.4%). A total of 64 patients with melanoma (13.8%) were diagnosed with other systemic cancer. Among those, lung cancer (17.2%) and thyroid cancer (17.2%) were most commonly diagnosed, followed by colon cancer (15.6%), and stomach cancer (10.9%) Conclusion: In this study, we identified 13.8% patients of melanoma accompanying other systemic cancer, which ishigher than 2.2%, the total cancer prevalence of the general population. Further studies are necessary regarding incidence, progression, and survival of concomitant systemic carcinomas with melanoma for better comprehension
