To theoretically predict knock occurrence in S. I. engine as a function of engine design and operating parameters, transient local temperature and pressure, mixture density of flame front in combustion period are calculated. We next determined normal combustion period and auto ignition period of end gas using the prediction method on occurrence of spark knock which we suggested. We predict knock occurrence in S. I. engine by comparing consecutively normal combustion period with the auto ignition period of end gas in combustion period. Engine design and operating parameters such as compression ratio, engine speed, spark timing, inlet temperature and pressure are taken into account in this calculations. The predicted result are well matched with the experimental results in turbocharged engine. Therefore, this method will provide the systematic guideline for designing engines in view of knocking limits.

This thesis aimed at studying the development of the engineering manpower in industrial society today. In order to achieve the purpose, we must to be supported by its training to be based on the continuous government planning for the development of manpower It is proper that strategic management should be conducted for the vocational engineer training. In the view of the present situation, we dare assert that the following management should be followed ; 1. We believe that the motives of the engineer will be caused by the law of official rearing, 2. For the manager's concern, it is need for the system of accounting in the manpower to be established, 3. For the efficiency each other, it is urgent to take a trianqular position for the confidence through the value of rationalism above all mentioned words are concerned with having high morale and a normal act for the engineer.
자외선흡수제(紫外線吸收劑) 처리에 의한 염색물의 내광성(耐光性)증진에 관한 연구

In order to distinguish the effecnt of light fastness by treatment of ultraviolet absorbent, in this studies, the samples were dyed with domestic sulfur colours (Rifa) and treated with four kinds of ultraviolet absorbent. The results are as follows: 1. Dyed goods are faded proportion to the lighting time, but the goods which treated with ultraviolet absorbent are not faded in 80 hours lighting. 2. Treatments of ultraviolet absorbent do not affect on resin finishing. 3. The tensile strengths of dyed goods are decreased about 30% in longitude and 25% in latitude by weathering of 80 hours, but the tensile strength of ultraviolet absorbent treated goods are decreased about 4% in same condition. 4. There is no effects according to ultraviolet absorbens. 5. The soluble ultraviolet absorbent has more effect to treat in above 1% of saturated concentraion.

On the assumption that both Classical and Romantic characteristics are presented in the String Quartets by Beethoven and Mendelssohn in 1820, this paper examines traditional and progressive trends through analyses. Analyses include String Quartet No. 1 (Op. 12, 1829), No. 2(Op. 13, 1827),and Octet (1825) by Mendelssohn, and Beethoven's late String Quartets. The present study has two general aims as follows: First, we explore individual musical languages of the two comtemporary composers, Beethoven and Mendelssohn; Second, in doing so, we explore how Romanticism in Classicism is shown in Mendelssohn's pieces, as compared with Classicism in Romanticism in Beethoven.
