내수면목장화사업의 어업인 인식도 및 경제효과 : 금강 지천을 중심으로

This study is aimed to analyze fishermen’s perception and the economic feasibility of inland waters ranching project on the branches of Geum River. Analysis of fishermen’s perception on the branches of Geum River showed that fishermen had an affirmative response on the inland freshwater ranching project related issues such as fisheries resources enhancement, necessity of project, economic achievement as so on. The model of inland waters ranching project on the branches of Geum River is designed to fisheries resources enhancement, habitat compositiom, ecology tours, use and management of resources. The results of the economic feasibility of inland waters ranching project on the branches of Geum River were internal rate of return (IRR) was 18.43%, a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 1.54, net present value (NPV) was 4,929 thousand won, which indicates the economic feasibility of inland waters ranching project. 본 연구는 내수면 수산자원 증대사업의 일환으로 계획하고 있는 금강 지천 내수면목장화사업을 대상으로 내수면어업인의 인식도 및 사업 추진에 따른 경제효과를 분석함으로써 본 사업추진의 동력 회복과 사업추진 시 실행계획의 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 금강 지천 내수면목장화사업에 대한 어업인인식도를 보면 내수면 수산자원 감소 인식 88.8%, 기존 자원조성사업에 대한 만족 75.92%, 금강 지천 내수면목장화사업 필요성 94.44%, 경제효과 기대감 83.33%를 나타내는 등 금강 지천 내수면목장화사업 추진의 우호적 환경을 조성되고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 이에 따라 금강 지천 내수면목장화사업을 자원조성사업, 서식장조성사업, 생태체험관광사업, 이용관리 등의 단위사업의 조합으로 이루어진 목장화 사업모델을 설정하여 예산 100억 원을 투입하여 5개년간 연차적으로 매년 실시하는 계획을 설계하여 경제성을 평가하였다. 본 내수면목장화사업의 투자경제성 분석결과, 내부수익률은 18.43%로 적정하게 나타났다. 편익비용비율도 1.54로 경제성 평가기준인 1을 상회하고 있다. 본 금강 지천 내수면목장화사업은 시행 시 사업비용을 회수하고도 4,929백만 원의 순편익을 창출할 수 있을 것으로 평가된다. 구체적으로 사업별 B/C를 살펴보면 자원조성사업 1.73, 서식지조성사업 1.18, 생태체험관광사업 2.55로 금강 지천을 대상으로 한 내수면목장화사업 추진은 경제효과가 실제로 상당할 것으로 판단된다.
Functional Clustering of Pancreatic Islet Cells Using Concave Microwell Array

Pancreatic islet transplantation is an ideal therapy for type I diabetes. Interestingly, small size of islets may exhibit superior performance in transplantation in terms of function and hypoxia. To this end, large size of islets was dissociated to generate islet single cells and they were re-aggregated to make small size of islet-cell-cluster (ICC). However, the function of insulin secretion from ICCs was damaged due to weak cell-to-cell interaction. To overcome this limitation, here the dispersed islet single cells were re-aggregated at the concave microwell array that was fabricated with poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) by using soft-lithography and mold-replication technology. The aggregated ICCs had uniform size, and their insulin secretion in response to the change of low and high glucose concentration was similar to that of intact islets since the cell-cell interaction of islet single cells was strongly induced due to the shape of concave microwell. Also, after cultivation for 2 weeks, the expression of hypoxia-induced factor-1α(HIF-1α; a hypoxia marker protein) in the ICCs was rare; meaning that hypoxic state in the central area of ICCs was attenuated. On the other hand, the ICCs generated in flat-bottomed wells had abnormal insulin secretion caused by weak cell-to-cell interaction. In addition, after cultivation for 2 weeks, the generated ICCs in flat-bottomed well had weak signal of HIF-1α, while intact islets had its strong signal. Therefore, new culture system using concave microwell array may be a promising alternative to success fully prepare functional ICCs.
상압소결 질화알루미늄의 소결 첨가제 변화에 따른 열적 및 기계적 특성

Aluminum nitride (AlN) has excellent electrical insulation property, high thermal conductivity, and a low thermal expansion coefficient; therefore, it is widely used as a heat sink, heat-conductive filler, and heat dissipation substrate. However, it is well known that the AlN-based materials have disadvantages such as low sinterability and poor mechanical properties. In this study, the effects of addition of various amounts (1-6 wt.%) of sintering additives $Y_2O_3$ and $Sm_2O_3$ on the thermal and mechanical properties of AlN samples pressureless sintered at $1850^{\circ}C$ in an $N_2$ atmosphere for a holding time of 2 h are examined. All AlN samples exhibit relative densities of more than 97%. It showed that the higher thermal conductivity as the $Y_2O_3$ content increased than the $Sm_2O_3$ additive, whereas all AlN samples exhibited higher mechanical properties as $Sm_2O_3$ content increased. The formation of secondary phases by reaction of $Y_2O_3$, $Sm_2O_3$ with oxygen from AlN lattice influenced the thermal and mechanical properties of AlN samples due to the reaction of the oxygen contents in AlN lattice.
