Condylar hyperplasia is a rare unilateral enlargement of the condyle and exhibit a slowly progressive elongation of the face with deviation of the chin. A severe malocclusion is a usual sequela of the condition. Surgical correction of facial asymmetry was performed by sub-condylectomy of the elongated right mandibular joint and reconstruction of resected joint by alloplastic implant with metallic condylar prosthesis simultaneously.

The central odontogenic fibroma is benign odontogenic neoplasm occurring within the jaws, this neoplasm is considered to be a tumor of the mesenchymal components of the odontogenic apparatus: the periodontal ligament, dental papilla, or dental follicle, this tumor appears to occur more frequently in children and young adults, and has a predilection for occurrence in the mandible. It is generally asymptomatic except for swelling of the jaw. Surgical resection of the lesion was performed by partial mandibulectomy and was done simultaneously with metal plate insertion.

Surgical treatment of advanced carcinomas of the head and neck area often requires extensive resection, necessitating large flap for reconstruction. Although various myocutaneous flap which provide both muscle bulk and skin coverage is used for head and neck reconstruction, pectoralis major myocutaneous flap is used most frequently because of excellent vascularity, anatomic proximity, long arc of rotation, reliability and versatility. In this paper we present our experience of 2 cases of pectoralis major myocutaneous flap used in immediate reconstruction after resection of mandibular cancer.

Eagle s syndrome is the term given to symptomatic elongation of the styloid process or mineralization of the stylohyoid or stylomandibular ligament. Although ossification of stylohyoid ligament was first described in the 1600 s, the syndrome is named for Eagle. Symptoms include the sensation of a foreign body, pain referred to the ear, dysphonia dysphagia, sore throat, require differential diagnosis such as unerupted thired molar, TMJ disorder, migraine, headache, atypical trigeminal neuralgia, otalgia, etc. Now, we present three cases of Eagle s syndrome treated by surgical resection of styloid process with good results.
