        민족 정체성 서사로서 재일동포 한국어 소설

        The Korean Novels of Korean residents in Japan is formed centering around the literary activity of Choch`ongnyon (North Korean residents` league in Japan) community. When their novels examined thoroughly, the change on literary history or the writers` originality couldn`t be found. It seems that these traits are deeply related to the limited structure of the communication and the literary system which has a distinctive inclination. So, the point of this article is to understand that the Korean Novels of Korean residents in Japan are the result in the specific limited things. The Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan have the trait that is the plot for specific purpose, the plan of the racial identity of Choch`ongnyon. The racial identity emphasized by the Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan is racial homogeneit which heads for the things of Choson in choosing language, lineage, nation, etc. and the way for existence as overseas North Koreans. The racial identity symbolized `Choson people` originated in specific circumstances, the discrimination for Choson people in Japan. Under such circumstance, racial identity is the political choice to resist the discrimination for Choson people in Japan. To reduce political character which `Choson people` contain, the Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan mainly use the way to replace political evil with moral evil by depicting the existence of difference like the Korean residents union in Japan, naturalized Koreans in Japan and Japanese with the existence of moral evil and degradation of character. The Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan which intend the realization of the distinctive purpose and the communication for community show the formal trait to share and repeat exemplary plot forms. This article reports that repetitive plot form in the Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan means joint memory for overcoming the cutting of time, family imagination for overcoming the cutting of space, and the utopia plan joined positive prospect with narrative facts. In the course of analyzing it, it is found that family ideology joined racialism, and that racialism restores nationalism. Although the Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan have taken a charge of purpose of the ideology devise for pro-North Korea, North Korea literature is the object which we have to read in difference, and the literature of the Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan is also the object which we have to read in difference. The Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan is of great worth in that they recorded and reproduced the life and history of the Korean residents in Japan. In addition, the Korean novels of Korean residents in Japan evokes sympathy about the virtue of the new social relationship meant `compatriot-family`, `compatriot-neighborhood` and show the revolutionary volition of the community to find the liberation against the power of capital and imperialism.

        Considering our cultural circumstances, Historical novels are very popular genre. By analyzing 2 historical novels, Kim Hoon’ s, ‘The song of the sword’ and Jeon gyeong-lin’ s, ‘Hwang jin-yi’ , the writer of this article tried to find out what culture cord with two works are the facts of the historical novels which didn’ t be recorded in history are filled up by the imagination of the author. And this imaginative power of author is deeply influenced by realistic connection and the sense of history in public of those days. This article was attempted from this basis. Kim, the author of ‘The song of the sword’, chose of the way in which broke from the imagination of Yi soon-shin which was fixed national hero in our culture. This work had points of view not history or justice with historical novels but subsistence and daily living and was reflected on war and loyalty. These are distinguished this work from previous historical novels. Differently speaking, ‘The song of the sword’ can be said a historical novel to weaken the political characteristic and enlightenment characteristic. But then, this work is not said that ‘The song of the sword’ has no literature seriousness. On the contrary this work vividly revived the sense for the real and the existence sense which are evaporated in history or mythology. And these factors will be able to be evaluated one of the literary accomplishments which this work gets. Considering that multimedia which is the main stream of the culture in nowdays can express only visual image, because ‘The song of the sword’ pioneered creatively specific area which printed medium is able to offer the masses new sensibility and imagination through. Jeon, the author of 'Hwang jin-yi’ , tried to express heroine Hwang jin-yi who revolted against feudalism. Joen is saying that Hwang jin-yi designed her life for herself. For example, Hwang jin-yi pointed out the absurd of the feudal, refused her spouse who decided from the family and chose uncertain future by becoming a ‘kisaeng’ (a singing and dancing girl), and accomplished romantic love which is impossible at that time. Even if these were in accord with modem ideas, in this work, Hwang' s sexuality didn’ t overcome distinction of the traditional 4 classes of society.-scholars, farmers, artisans and tradesmen. As a result this work has the inner contradiction to reproduce feudal ideology. Also, the inner description which is the possibility of watching for the inner developmental process of modem subject was composed of platitude and description for report. Whereas the description of cloths and body was concrete and abundant. In short, the author tried to materialize cogitation which aim at modem through this work. But it was not success. On the contrary when Jeon described details, her imagination showed chasm to vacillate by consuming attention and the ideology of bourgeois family order of our own time.

        소설이 죽음을 사유하는 방식 -오정희의 「옛우물」, 김훈의 「화장」, 배수아의 「시취」를 중심으로

        이 논문은 죽음에 대한 인식은 사회적 참여와 개체의 단독성 사이의 적응과 부적응의 낙차에서 발생한다는 관점에서, 오정희의 「옛우물」(1994), 김훈의 「火葬」,(2004), 배수아의 「시취」(2006) 들에 나타난 죽음의 표상과 죽음에의 참여 방식을 분석하였다. 오정희의 「옛우물」은 옛우물의 회상과 연당집의 관조를 통해 ``부재의 부재``라는 죽음의 난제를 해결하고, 개체의 죽음을 자연의 회생과 순환의 서곡으로 상상하는 불멸의 신화에 참여함으로써 죽음에 적응해 간다. 김훈의 「화장」은 죽어가는 자의 고통과 현대 사회가 죽음을 처리하는 방식에 대한 부적응을 통해 不淨의 공포를 보여준다. 주검과 시취에 대한 이미지를 생명=미에 대한 상상과 병치시킴으로써 부정의 공포를 극복하고자 한다. 배수아의 「시취」(2006)는 외적 세계와 자발적으로 소통을 단절한 폐쇄적 자아가 성찰하는 육체적 노쇠와 의식의 불안을 통해 죽음에 참여하는 실존 상태를 묘사해 나간다. 세 편의 텍스트를 분석한 결과 죽음에의 참여는 종과 사회가 길들이는 죽음에 대한 부적응에서 출발하여 죽음에 대한 사회적 이해에 대한 개인적 공감의 접점을 발견하는 과정으로 이어진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. The study is based on the view that perception on death is generated in differences between adjustment and maladjustment with regard to social participation and individual singularity. It will focus on analyzing the symbol of death and the way of participating in death in Old Well (1994) by Jeong-hee Oh, Cremation (2004) by Hun Kim and The Smell of a Dead Body (2006) by Su-ah Bae. Jeong-hee Oh`s Old Well resolves the touch question of death summarized as ``absence of absence`` through the use of relocation that starts with an old well and an illustration that contemplates Yeondangjip. It adjusts to death by participating in the myth of immortality where an individual death is assumed as an overture of revival and circulation of the nature. Cremation by Hun Kim shows the pain of a dying person and maladjustment to the way that the contemporary society handles death. As it juxtaposes the image of a corpse and the stench of a dead body with the imagination that life equals beauty, it attempts to overcome the fear of impurity. The Smell of a Dead Body (2006) by Su-ah Bae portrays a close-minded self who tries to adjust to death by oneself. He shows self-reflecting senility and spiritual anxiety as the existence that participates in death. As a result of analyzing the three texts, it has been found that participation in death starts with the maladjustment to death as domesticated by the species and the society and that it leads to a process of finding a point of contact with individual sympathy for social understanding about death.

        박상륭의 『죽음의 한 연구』론

        Bak Sang-ryung’s「A Study of Death」is a novel that uses symbolic motif and mythology of Christianity, Buddhism, Alchemy, Psychoanalysis and so on. This novel depicts the process to change worldly man into God through doings of a monk for 40 days in ‘Yuri’. During that time arguments of this work obtain results in the part to interpret mythological element and symbolic meaning. But these arguments are still incomplete in the part to research inner principle that integrates opposite and contradictory thing of this work. Therefore this paper will seek imaginative unity of this work through the principles of Yin and Yang. Main background ‘Yuri’ of this work is barren space where the earth and the water are disharmony. Each earth and water can grasp symbol of Yin and Yang. Connecting disharmony of Yin and Yang with human life, they can be said the male and female. This work gropes about situation of the harmony and reconciliation of the female and male that exist in a human inside. Murder and coitus of ‘I’ in ‘Yuri,pry into flesh. In the ‘Eub’ ‘I’ do preaching of interpretation that integrates heterogeneous symbols. Then he conies back ‘Yuri’ again, and he is executed with paying the price of murder. Every course is expressed by process that a maltreating man is become a maltreated woman. Thus this work implies religious meaning in which the male and female, sexual and murderous desire, and death and revival are a unit.

        숭실 문학의 견인차, 그들의 소설적 성취

        이 글은 숭실의 소설가 가운데, 한국 문단에서 중견의 위치를 차지하는 김신, 김유택, 문순태, 표성흠, 조성기 등의 문학적 개성과 소설적 성과를 검토한 것이다. 김신과 김유택의 소설은 탈자아를 강요하는 세계 질서에 항거하는 자취를 드러내고 있다는 점에서 닮아 있다. 그들은 같은 시간과 공간에서 대학 시절을 함께 보낸 친구였고 ‘80년 광주’를 통과한 뒤 작가가 되었다. 그들에게 ‘80년 광주’는 그의 문학 저변에 존재하는 암초와도 같다. 김신은 발랄한 청년 감수성과 유희적 상상의 세계를 통해 현실의 무게를 벗어나고자 하였다. 김유택이 지속적으로 주목한 현실은 소통 불가능, 소통 부재의 상황이다. 병적이고 불구적인 주인공들을 통해 김유택은 소통 불능 상황의 심각성을 표현하였다. 문순태의 소설적 정체성은 매우 뚜렷하다. 문순태는 역사적 비극과 근대화의 물결에 떠밀려 고향을 상실한 자들의 비극을 줄기차게 그려 왔다. 특히 그는 자신이 태어나고 자란 전라도를 줄곧 소설의 주 무대로 삼아, 이웃의 삶에 소설적 관심을 집중하였고, 그 결과 그들의 삶을 누구보다 깊이 있고 구체적으로 형상화할 수 있는 강점을 발휘하였다. 표성흠은 분단 모순과 하층민의 삶에 깊은 관심을 기울였다. 그의 소설에 심심치 않게 등장하는 동물, 아이, 여성 등은 유머와 사랑으로 가득 찬 소설 분위기를 형성함으로써, 소설적 갈등을 화해하고, 현실적 무게를 극복하는 정서적 효과를 거둔다. 조성기의 소설은 진지하고 조심스런 몽상이 진정성을 지닌 명상이 될 수 있음을 잘 보여주고 있다. 이러한 의미론은 주로 대상을 텍스트화 함으로써 이루어진다. 그의 소설적 상상력이 ‘구성적’이라기보다는 ‘해석적’ 성격을 띠기 때문이다. 일상 현실을 대상을 할 때도 그런 경향이 두드러지지만, 무엇보다 문화 텍스트에서 그의 해석적 상상력은 빛을 발한다. 그의 글쓰기 작업이 소설 창작에 머물지 않고 문화 텍스트를 새롭게 읽어내는 저술 활동으로 벋어 나가고 있는 것도 이와 무관하지 않다고 본다. 김신과 김유택은 숭실의 학부 선배로서, 문순태와 표성흠은 숭실의 대학원 선배로서, 조성기는 숭실의 교수로서 이들의 문학은 숭실의 젊은 작가들과 후학들에게 커다란 영향을 미치며 숭실 문학의 견인차 역할을 할 것을 기대한다. This article examines in the midst of novelists of soongsil Kim Sin, Kim Yutaek, Mun Suntae, Pyo Seongheum, Cho Seonggi taking a writer of medium standing from Korea republic of letters of romantic individuality and romantic achievement. Kim Sin and Kim Yutaek’s novel is alike in that it is expressed by a trace resisting world order. They spend together undergraduate days at same time and same space. Passing ‘1980’s Gwangju’, they became novelist. ‘1980’s Gwangju’ is like a reef existing in the base of their literature on them. Kim Sin attemped to free himself from real weight through his youthful sensibility and playful imagination. The actual that Kim Yutaek pays attention to is situations of communication impossibility and communication absence. Through morbid and disable main characters, Kim Yutaek reveals seriousness of a situation of communication impossibility. The romantic identity of Mun Suntae is quiet plain. Mun Suntae describes incessantly a tragedy of men who lost their hometown by pushing the social conditions of historical tragedies and modernization. He especially concentrated on his neighbor’s lives, all the time focusing on describing his hometown, where he was born and grew, and which made him to symbolize their life more deeper and preciser than any other writer. Pyo Seongheum paid attention to division’s contradiction and the life of lower layers. The characters, for example such as animals, children, women who fulfilled the atmosphere with humor and love produce the emotional effects that can be leaded to reconcile conflict and overcome real weights. Cho seonggi’s novel shows that a serious and cautious fancy can be a meditation with authenticity. The imagination of his novel is not ‘constructive’ rather than ‘analytic’. His analytic imagination takes the largest radiation of all, it takes the same propensity when deal with common real states, of course. The condition that his writing works don’t stay with the making of novel, rather spread to the activity that interpreting the culture text newly isn’t with office. Kim Sin and Kim Yuteak as seniors of soongsil’s educational institution, Mun Suntae and Pyo Seongheum as seniors of soongsil’s graduate school, and Cho Seonggi as a soongsil’s professor, their literature will take a rule to cause big effects to young writers and junior scholars.
