Executed interface verification test between vehicle and track using KTX vehicles in Seoul-Busan high-speed railway second-stage rail track section. When train passes test section at the 300 km/h speed, measured lateral vibration acceleration of bogie and car body and vertical vibration acceleration of car body. Vibration acceleration measured with speed and distance. Sampling frequency does more than 200 ㎐, and extracts Zero to Peak maximum value in probability distribution 0.15~99.85 % wide-band and did filtering. Test result, all vibration accelerations was expose by acceptable level limit within at test procedures.
A Study on Safety Evaluation of Wheel Using Roller Rig Tester

The roller rig tester for safety performance evaluation of wheel derailment is a test facility which can give the test load condition to the test wheel, similar to the actual dynamic condition in actual running condition. This study describes the evaluation result on the durability of the resilient wheel equipped with the ring damper and the damping material, and installed in the half part of a full scaled bogie in combination with the primary spring when it rotates under the dynamic condition. The evaluation result on durability of resilient wheel after load test of 2 million cycles shows that the safety of wheel is not affected by the applied load in visual inspection and nondestructive test, however, in the bolt used for fastening the ring damper to the wheel the loosening was found. Accordingly the use of self-locking nut and washer is recommended.

Among welded structure bogies in use for high speed freight car, a part of bogies manufactured in 1999 and 2000 have found problems that failure occurs in its end beam. In case of a freight car a difference of weight between empty and loading conditions are worse than in case of a passenger car. Moreover its brake system is tread brake without second suspension system. A failure of end beam is supposed to be due to loading by brake rather than vertical loading by freight. This failure can make brake system useless and may be a cause of derailment in the worst case. In this study, in order to be proved the cause of failure and to solve the problem it is described that we have measured load history acted on end beam and set up the procedures.

Locomotives of railway, diesel locomotives and electric locomotives can be divided into. The nation’s railway electrification as environmental issues such as noise and air pollution issue is being steadily made . They are led to the industrialization of our country until now enhanced traction electric locomotives replaced by diesel locomotives. When compared to electric locomotives until now loaded in the domestic and the new electric locomotives, several changes were Increase the traction of the existing 5,200 ㎾ to 6,600 ㎾. Improved adhesion increased by 88 to 132 tons, the weight of the vehicle. The type of balance, Bo-Bo-Bo type Co-Co type was changed. In this paper, the results of evaluating the responsiveness curve of electric locomotives to be the first station in the country and driving safety technology to ensure the safety of the railway.
