The survival rates of 170 cases of breast cancer, which were underwent by various types of mastectomy at the department of surgery. Keimyung University. School of medicine from January 1980 through December 1986.were analysed according to various prognostic factors. In according to the age, the relative 7 year survival rates were 70%. 75.1%. 74.3%. 54.4% and 48. 2% at ages below 30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60 and over 61 years, respectively. The 5 year survival rate of the group whose symptom duration were less than 1 month was 81.8% and that of more than 1 year group was 64.8% but 파lowed no constant relations between the survival and duration of symptom. In the group whose tumor size were less than 2 cm showed 89.4 % of 7 year survival rate but it drop야d to 73.1% and 46.2% in 2-5cm al념 over 5cm size groups respectively. More than 65% of the patients had their mass at the lateral half of the breast and their 5 year survival rate was 74.4% and it was comparable to the survival of the medially located group (68.4%). The patients without palpable axillary node had a better survival rate than the patients with palpable node (75.4% versus 47.8%). Among the axillary metastatic groups. less than 3 positive axillary nodes group had similar survival rates (84.0% at 7 year) of pathologically negative node group (82.4 % at 7 year) but more than 4 positive nodes group showed significant lower survival rates(less than 50% at 7 year). In the group whose axillary lymph node was not enlarged showed better survival compare with enlarged group even they had metastatic axillary nodes pathologically.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate the problem of perception with special emphasis on the relative relation ship of Chuang-tzuˇ inner perception which I think is the Crucial point in the history of Chinese Philosophy. To understand the Chuang-tzuˇ inner perception we should note the three proposition:firstly man's perception is limited, secondly knowledge and ignorance cannot be absolutely distinguished, and thirdly the insistence that ignorance is the true knowledge is similar to the fancy of Chao-San-Mu-Ssuˇ(朝三暮四), but is the same in fact. Chuang-tzuˇ position of denying the mans' perception originates from his objection to that of Ming pien (明辨)school. Since the Spring-Autumn Age the method of perceiving the objects and and jargons for those objects become numerous. Hui-Shinh (惠施) and Kungsun Luˇng(公孫龍) were the scholars who had contributed to search investigations. So 「Ming pien」 School is the products of rapid social change and they tried to analyse the objects. Of course, such attitude to the objects and the methods they used contributed to the development of philosophical investigations. But Chuang-tzuˇ thinks that analytical investigation in the perception of objects is not only absolutely unnecessary but artificial according to Chuang-tzuˇ man can attain the state of Tao-Shu(道樞) only by intuition. The inner percception or Intuition is the short cut to perceive the true knowledge. "Only the true man can perceive the true knowledge." is the motto of Chuang-tzuˇ philosophy.

녹농균의 quinolone제재에 대한 감수성 및 혈청형 분포

123 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from various clinical specimens were tested for the distrution of serotypes and the evaluation of the antimicrobial susceptibility to each generation quinolone impounds. The results were as follows : 1. 107 strains(87%) were typable out of clinical isolate 123 strains. Serotype G was prevalent with 33 strains (26.8%) and followed by serotype E, 31 strains (25.2%), serotype B, 15 strains (12.2%) and successively typed in the order of serotype A, C, D, F, H, I, L, M, but serotype J,K and N were not entirely typed. 2. MIC peak was 1024ug/ml in case of nalidixic acid, 32ug/ml in pipemidic acid, 0.25ug/ml in ciprofloxacin, 2ug / ml in ofloxacin. 2ug/ml in enoxacin. 0.5ug/ml in norfloxacin, finally 8ug/ml in rosoxacin. 3. The second generation quinolone compound, pipemidic acid exhibited 8 to 30 times higher activity to Pseudomonas aeruyrtcisa than the first generation quinlolne, nalidixic acid. And the third generation compounds showed 4 to 100 times higher activities than the second generation quinolone. Especially ciprofloxacin showed 2 to 30 times higher antimicrobial activity than other generation quinolone compounds. 4. There were no significant differences to susceptibility patterns among the serotypes.
