        경남 농경지 이용구조 변화요인 분석과 전망

        The objectives of this study are to analyze the factors affecting the structural changes of agricultural land use in Gyeongsangnam-do and to prospect for its future use. Seven commodity groups are categorized to include all agricultural products: rice, summer food crops, summer vegetables and other cash crops, fruits, barley, winter field vegetables, and winter greenhouse vegetables. We developed a model for acreage distribution among the seven commodity groups, and estimated the economic relations between prices and acreage distribution. The results showed positive relations exist between cultivating acreage and own commodity prices in all commodity groups, whereas competitive relations exist between summer commodity groups or winter commodity groups such that rice price decreases led to increases of fruits cultivating acreage or vice versa and winter vegetable price increases led to increases of winter greenhouse vegetables cultivating acreage or vice versa. Further, acreage elasticities with respect to own commodity prices or farm wage rates are estimated over the last 30 years, and future agricultural land use in Gyeongsangnam-do is prospected based on three different scenarios. Total agricultural land use in Gyeongsangnam-do will be decreased over the next 10 years from 159,000 ha in year 2010 to 143,000∼153,000 ha in year 2020. By commodity group, cultivating acreage of rice, summer food crops, and barley will be decreased while cultivating acreage of summer vegetables, fruits, winter field vegetables, and winter greenhouse vegetables will be stagnant. 본 연구는 지역 농지자원의 효율적인 이용을 위해 경상남도 농경지의 이용구조의 변화요인을 분석하고 전망하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 전체 작물을 쌀, 하계 식량작물류, 하계 채소 및 특용작물류, 과일, 보리쌀, 동계 노지채소류, 동계 시설채소류의 7개 작물 그룹으로 구분하였으며, 이들에 대한 작물별 경작지 배분모형을 개발하여 추정하였다. 추정결과 자체가격과 재배면적 간에는 양의 상관관계가 존재하였으며, 대체가격에 있어서는 하계작물의 경우 쌀과 과일 등 모든 작물간에 경합관계가 존재하고 있으며, 동계작물의 경우, 노지 채소류와 시설채소류간에 경합관계가 뚜렷한 것으로 나타났다. 한편 재배면적의 자체가격과 농업노임에 대한 탄성치도 연도별로 추정하였다. 마지막으로 시나리오 분석 하에 경남지역 작물의 총재배면적은 2010년 15만 9천 ha에서 2020년에는 14만 3천 ha∼15만 3천 ha에 이를 것으로 전망된다. 작물그룹별로 쌀, 기타식량작물류, 보리쌀은 재배면적의 감소가 예상되며, 하계채소․특용작물류, 과일, 동계노지채소류, 동계시설채소류는 재배면적의 정체가 예상된다.

        풋고추 품종별 가격 및 규모 신축성 분석

        Three varieties of green pepper - Chungyang pepper, Cucumber-taste pepper and Nokgwang pepper - are competing with one another in consumption due to the overlapping shipment period. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of monthly variations of shipment quantities on the wholesale market prices. A Linear Approximated Inverse Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/IAIDS) is employed with monthly data set of three different varieties of green pepper consumption. The results show that if there is an excess supply in the market, the rate of the price decline is larger for forcing culture Chungyang pepper than other pepper varieties. On the contrary, change in supply of cucumber-taste pepper and Nokgwang pepper has little effect on the price of Chungyang pepper. The results of this study can be utilized as a basic information for enhancing the farm income and promoting agricultural policies related to the establishment of self-help funds by Chungyang pepper producer groups in Gyeongnam region.

        당대 애정류 전기(唐代 愛情類 傳奇)의 재매개화 고찰 — 한국 로맨스 웹툰과의 비교를 통하여

        This study focused on the remediation of the romantic Tang Chuan-qi, which has been passed down to today through acceptance and dissemination to East Asian countries. The romantic Tang Chuan-qi was not only transmitted to East Asian countries, but in modern times, the re-mediation work into new media narratives continues. Therefore, in this study, the pattern of re-mediation of the romantic Tang Chuan-qi was considered by analyzing romance webtoons based on the romantic Tang Chuan-qi. Romance webtoons were analyzed and examined by type, and as a result, the gender of the character changed, the tragic ending was reduced, the changed marriage and values were reflected, and the boundaries of others were expanded. In addition, it was analyzed that this change was caused by the combination of the characteristics of webtoons called user-centered. 본 연구에서는 동아시아 각국으로의 수용과 전파를 거쳐 오늘날까지 전해지고 있는 당대 애정류 전기(唐代 愛情類 傳奇)에 집중하였다. 당대 애정류 전기는 동아시아 각국으로 전해졌을 뿐만 아니라 현대에는 뉴미디어 서사로의 재매개화 작업이 계속되고 있다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 당대 애정류 전기를 원전으로 하여 한국의 로맨스 웹툰을 비교하고 분석함으로 당대 애정류 전기의 재매개화 양상을 고찰하였다. 한국 로맨스 웹툰을 유형별로 분석하여 살펴보았는데, 그 결과 당대 애정류 전기가 재매개되며 인물의 성별이 변화하였고 비극적 결말이 축소되었으며, 또한 변화한 혼인관과 가치관의 반영되었고 타자의 경계가 확장되었음을 고찰하였다. 그에 더해 이러한 변화는 이용자 중심이라는 웹툰의 특성이 결합하여 생겨난 것임을 분석하였다.

        Alteration of gene expression profiles in the mutant line of Sorghum bicolor

        The induction of mutants using a variety of mutagens provides new genetic resources for crop breeding. In the current study, we generated mutants in sorghum using gamma-ray treatment and conducted transcriptome analyses between a mutant line and its origin. Based on the data generated by the analysis, we predicted genes that were differentially expressed in the mutant compared to its origin and identified their functions. Gene Ontology and KEGG pathway were performed to annotate DEGs functions. Furthermore, we constructed gene co-expression networks to demonstrate the association of the identified transcription factors. We also searched for single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and insertions/deletions (InDel) which can possibly cause the alteration of gene functions. The SNP data discovered in this transcript analysis found 11 genes that appeared in common with co-expression networks and examined the associations for salt-responsiveness. This study provides genetic backgrounds that can emerge when sorghum is subjected to gamma irradiation to progress the mutant.

        A case of Kawasaki disease with coexistence of a parapharyngeal abscess requiring incision and drainage

        Kawasaki disease (KD) causes multisystemic vasculitis but infrequently manifests with deep neck infections, such as a peritonsillar abscess,peritonsillar or deep neck cellulitis, suppurative parapharyngeal infection, or retropharyngeal abscess. As its etiology is still unknown,the diagnosis is usually made based on typical symptoms. The differential diagnosis between KD and deep neck infections is important, considering the variable head and neck manifestations of KD. There are several reports on KD patients who were initially diagnosed with retropharyngeal abscess on on computed tomography scans (CT). However, the previously reported cases did not have abscess or fluid collection on retropharyngeal aspiration. Therefore,false-positive neck CT scans have been obtained, until recently. In this case, suspected neck abscess in patients with KD unresponsive to intravenous immunoglobulin could signal the possible coexistence of suppurative cervical lymphadenitis.

        Comparison of Therapeutic Efficacy and Clinical Parameters Between Recombinant Human Thyroid Stimulating Hormone and Thyroid Hormone Withdrawal in High-Dose Radioiodine Treatment with Differentiated Thyroid Cancer

        Purpose High-dose radioiodine treatment (HD-RIT) after injection of recombinant human thyroid stimulating hormone (rh-TSH) has become widely used. This study compared the therapeutic efficacy of HD-RIT and clinical parameters between rh-TSH supplement and thyroid hormone withdrawal (THW) after total thyroidectomy in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer. Methods We retrospectively reviewed 266 patients (47 male and 219 female; age, 49.0±10.9 years) with differentiated thyroid cancer detected from September 2011 to September 2012. Patients comprised THW (217, 81.6 %) and rh-TSH (49, 18.4 %). Inclusion criteria were: first HD-RIT; any TN stage; absence of distant metastasis. To evaluate the complete ablation of the remnant thyroid tissue or metastasis, we reviewed stimulated serum thyroglobulin (sTg), I-123 whole-body scan (RxWBS) on T4 off-state, and thyroid ultrasonography (US) or [F-18]-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-18 FDG PET/CT) 6–8 months after HD-RIT. We defined a complete ablation state when all three of the follow-up conditions were satisfied; <2.0 ng/ml of the sTg, I-123 RxWBS (−), and thyroid US or F-18 FDG PET/CT (−). If one of the three was positive, ablation was considered incomplete. We also compared various clinical biomarkers (body weight, body mass index, liver and kidney function) between THW and rh-TSH groups. Results The rates of complete ablation were 73.7 % (160/217) for the THW group and 73.5 % (36/49) for the rh-TSH group. There was no significant difference between the two groups (p=0.970). The follow-up aspartate transaminase (p=0.001) and alanine transaminase (p=0.001) were significantly higher in the THWgroup. The renal function parameters of blood urea nitrogen (p=0.001) and creatinine (p=0.005) tended to increase in the THW group. The change of body weight was + Δ0.96 (±1.9) kg for the THW group and was decreased by -Δ1.39 (±1.5) kg for the rh-TSH group. The change of body mass index was 0.4 (±0.7) kg/m2 in the THW group and was decreased by −0.6 (±0.6) kg/m2 in the rh-TSH group. Conclusions Consistent with previous studies, the rates of complete ablation between the THWand rh-TSH groups were not significantly different. The clinical parameters, as we mentioned above, were elevated for THW group but were irrelevant for the rh-TSH group. The findings favor HD-RIT after rh-TSH, especially for patients with chronic liver and kidney disease.

        The number of species and density of benthic polychaetes increased rapidly before (33 species, 63 ind./㎡ in 2005) and after (45 species 107 ind./㎡ in 2008, 71 species, 527 ind./㎡ in 2009) the oil pollution accident in the subtidal zone of Taean. The dominant species and environmental factors (grain size, ignition loss, salinity, dissolved oxygen, water temperature) were analyzed as a significant correlation. Benthic pollution index was high in the south subtidal zone of Taean before the oil pollution but then it was highly analyzed in the north subtidal zone.

        한.미 FTA 체결에 따른 한우농가 피해보전효과 분석

        To help improve the current government practice of direct damage-compensation policies, resulting from the loss of profit, sustained by Hanwoo farmers, as a result of the recent Korea-U. S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA), this research aims to examine any problems or issues caused by said policies. To accomplish this task, we have established Hanwoo-SIMO model and estimated the damage of Hanwoo farmers, one without the implementation of the FTA and another with the FTA, to compare and contrast the two. We then analyzed the efficacy of the current government policies. According to our analysis, the current direct compensation policies for the loss of profit on the part of Hanwoo farmers are insufficient. To address this problem, we recommend the government enact a new direct damagecompensation law to address the following issues. First, as the base formula of damage-compensation, the government should use current price of the beef rather than the annually changing flexible price. Second, the flexible control index should remain fixed at 1.0 rate while the government prepares the adequate amount of the damage compensating direct payment resulting from the FTA. Third, the direct government compensation policy should extend beyond the current 15 years (2013-2026) as the profit loss is expected to increase after the midpoint of the FTA.
