        12주간의 수중운동이 인슐린 비의존형 노인 당뇨환자의 신체조성과 혈중 지질성분 그리고 인슐린 민감성 및 심폐지구력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate a aquatic exercise program on body composition, blood lipid profiles, insulin sensitivity and aerobic capacity in the female patients with non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. Forty one females characterized as diabetic (fasting blood glucose > 140mg/dl) were randomly divided into two groups : Exercise Group(n=22) and Control Group(n=19). Exercise Group completed one hour aquatic exercise program with 60% of maxHR at 3days/wk during 12wks. Regarding on body composition, body weight and % body fat were significantly decreased after 12wk of aquatic exercise but no significant differences were shown in control group. In terms of blood lipid profiles, there were significant decrease in TC, LDL-C, and TG and increase in HDL-C in Exercise group. Also, Exercise Group had significantly lower blood glucose and HbAlc levels than those of Control Group after aquatic exercise. Regarding on insulin sensitivity assessed by oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT) there was not significant but slight decrease in glucose level at 120min after glucose ingestion in Exercise Group. Aerobic function in terms of VO2max was significantly increased in Exercise Group after aquatic exercise. In conclusion, these findings indicate that aquatic exercise program will be beneficial to improve health-related fitness for the female patients with non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.

        스포츠생리학 : 무용의 형태가 무산소성 파워와 혈중지질성분에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 대학에서 무용을 전공하는 여학생들과 규칙적으로 운동 프로그램에 참여하고 있지 않는 일반 여대생들간에 무산소성 파워 능력과 신체구성 및 혈중 지질성분을 분석하므로써 장기간의 무용 연습의 유·무와 무용 연습의 형태에 따른 인체의 생리적 변인에 미치는 영향과 그 차이를 규명하는데 목적이 있다.연구대상은 한국무용 전공자 6명, 발레 전공자 6명, 현대무용 전공자 6명, 현재 규칙적으로 운동 프로그램에 참가하거나 운동을 해 본 경험이 없는 여자 대학생 5명을 비교 집단으로 4그룹으로 나누었다. 한국무용 전공자는 9.33±3.20yrs, 발레 전공자 8.00±1.26yrs, 현대무용 전공자 9.00±1.67yrs의 경력을 가지고 있는자와 현재 규칙적으로 운동 프로그램에 참가하거나 운동을 해 본 경험이 없는 여자 대학생으로 나누었다.Winggate test의 결과는 전공 영역별 무용수들의 무산소성 파워는 무용 전공의 형태에 따라 영향올 받지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 피험자들의 신체구성에 관한 연구 결과 한국무용 전공자(22.81%)가 발레(23.44%), 현대무용(25.21%), 일반인 (25.22%)들 보다 낮은 체지방을 나타냈지만 네 집단간에 모든 변인들에서 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 피험자들의 혈중 지질성분에 관하여 변량 분석한 결과 총 콜레스테롤만이 네 집단간에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.그러나, 한국무용이 현대무용과 발레무용수들 보다 유의하게 낮게 나타났으며, 무용수들과 일반 여대생들과의 비교에서는 현대무용과 발레 무용수들이 일반 여대생보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다.이러한 결과에서 지속적인 장기간의 무용 연습은 신체의 무산소성 파워에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 생각된다.그러나, 무용 전공별 학생들의 무산소성 파워는 차이가 없는 것을 고려해 볼 때 무용 형태의 차이는 무산소성 파워에 영향을 미치지 않을 것으로 생각되어 진다. 하지만, 이에 따른 보다 명확한 결론을 규명하기 위해서는 보다 많은 수의 피험자들을 대상으로 후속적인 연구가 수행되어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences among the college female dancers with regard to anaerobic power outputs, body composition and blood lipid profiles. Also, all physiological parameters of the dancers were compared with those of the sedentary college women(non-dancers).All subjects were classified into four groups {Korean Folk Dance Group (n=6), Ballet Group (n=6), Modern Dance Group (n=6), and Non-Dance Getup (n=5)} on the basis that they participated in a dance performance. All dancers had been practiced in dance classes for Korean Folk Dance Group 9.33±3.20, Ballet Group 8.00±1.26, Modern Dance Group 9.00±1.67 years and had no experience of regular exercise.The results of Wingate Test demonstrated that anaerobic power outputs in dancers were greater than that of non-dancers. However, there were no significant anaerobic power differences among the dancers. Regarding on body composition, the Korean folk dancers (22.81%) had a slightly lower percent body fat than those of ballet dancers (23.44%), modern dancers (25.21%) and non-dancers (25.22%) but no significant differences were shown. In terms of blood lipid profiles, there were no significant differences in LDL-C and HDL-C among the four groups. The Korean folk dancers and non-dancers, however, had significantly lower total cholesterol levels than those of ballet and modern dancers.In conclusion, this study suggested that the significant differences between the dancers and non-dancers in anaerobic power outputs might be attributed to the characteristics of dance practice or movements. However, we need more study to verify the somewhat higher total cholesterol levels in ballet and modern dancers than Korean folk dancers and/or non-dancers.

      • 인종에 따른 면역반응 및 운동능력 비교연구

        The purpose of the present study is to investigate racial difference in immune function and exercise performance. Well trained fifteen athletes in martial art (Tae Kwon Do) participated in this study from Egypt(n=7) and Vietnam(n=8). Immune cells was investigate at rest and heart rate, lactate were measured during and recovery after maximal aerobic exercise. No significant difference was found in total leucocyte; whereas neutrophil was slightly greater in Vietnamese than in Egyptian athletes. However, lymphocyte showed significantly lower in Vietnamese athletes than that of Egyptian athletes. Monocyte and eosinophil showed no significant different between Vietnamese and Egyptian athletes. Although the speed of recovery of blood lactate was tended more faster in Egyptian than Vietnamese athletes, No significant difference was found in both groups. In conclusion, total leucocyte was not altered in both groups, but leucocyte subpopulation presented differently. This suggested that interindividual differences was existed in Egyptian and Vietnamese athletes, and the plausible explanation of reason of this difference may due to the different dietary pattern and environment.

        두기지 강도의 유산소운동과 저항운동을 병행한 복합훈련이 여성들의 체력과 혈중지질성분에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of combining resistance training and two different intensity aerobic training on physical fitness and blood lipid profiles. Ten physically inactive female college students were randomly assigned to participate for l0wk in one of the following exercise groups: combined low intensity aerobic and resistance trained(LAERT: 25min walking with 50% of maxHR + resistance training for 3days/wk) and combined moderate intensity aerobic and resistance trained(MAERT: 25min jogging with 70% of maxHR + resistance training for 3days/wk). Before and after training, flexibility, sit-ups, one-repetition maximum for lat pull down, butterfly, leg extension, and leg curl ,and blood lipid profiles were determined. Both LAERT and MAERT groups demonstrated similar increase in 1RM butterfly(6kg and 7.5kg, respectively, p$lt;.05). Sit-ups for MAERT(30.25±1.09 to 32.25±0.69, p(.05) was significantly increased compared with LAERT(25.6±4.98 to 26.6±51, p(.05). Regarding on blood lipid profiles. TC and LDL-C decreased in both LAERT and MAERT. but only significantly in MAERT(200.8±9.0 to 174.6±4.4 for TC and 110.8118.71 to 89±21.61 for LDL-C, p$lt;.05). These data indicate that both LAERT and MAERT will provide concurrent increase in strength performance and reduces in TC and LDL-C after lOwk of training. However, the intensity of two different aerobic exercises does not seem to influence on a trend for increase in strength performance and reduce in cholesterol level when combined with resistance training.
