        여름철 인간 열환경지수에 미치는 가로수의 영향 분석

        가로수가 여름철 인간 열환경지수(열쾌적성)에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해, 낙엽활엽교목 2종과 상록활엽교목 3종 총 5종의 가로수를 대상으로 수목 하부의 음지와 그 옆의 양지에서 미기후 자료를 측정하여 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 기온, 상대습도, 풍속의 차이는 각각 평균 $0.2{\sim}1.5^{\circ}C$, 0.9~5.3%, $0.1{\sim}0.5ms^{-1}$로 미비하였으나, 평균복사온도는 평균 $27.1^{\circ}C$의 매우 큰 차이를 보여 주었다. 인간 열환경지수인 PET와 UTCI 결과에서는 수목 하부의 음지가 양지에 비해 PET에서는 평균 21.2~31.3%의 저감 비율을 보여 1.5~2.5단계의 열지각 개선 효과를 나타내었으며, UTCI에서는 평균 12.7~20.0%의 저감 비율을 보여 1~1.5단계의 heat stress 저감 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 상록활엽교목이 낙엽활엽교목에 비해 PET에서 평균 5% 더 높은 저감 비율을 나타냈지만, 낙엽활엽교목에 속하는 느티나무는 지엽의 밀도가 높아 상록활엽교목 만큼의 열환경지수(열쾌적성) 개선 효과를 나타내었다. 이에 따라, 가로수의 여름철 열 저감 효과에서 지엽의 밀도와 평균복사온도가 주요 영향임을 알 수 있었다. In order to analyze the effect of street trees on human thermal sensation(thermal comfort) in summer, microclimatic data were measured and analyzed at sunny and shaded locations of two deciduous broadleaf and three broadleaf evergreen species of street trees. As a result, the mean differences by species in air temperature, relative humidity and wind speed were small: $0.2{\sim}1.5^{\circ}C$, 0.9~5.3% and $0.1{\sim}0.5 ms^{-1}$, respectively, but the mean difference in the mean radiant temperature was great, $27.1^{\circ}C$. In the results of physiological equivalent temperature(PET) and universal thermal climate index(UTCI), which are human thermal sensation(thermal comfort) indexes, the shaded locations by the trees showed mean reduction rates of 21.2~31.3% in the PET compared with the sunny location, which are equivalent to 1.5~2.5 levels of thermal perception. Also, 12.7~20.0% in the UTCI was reduced by the trees' shadows, which is equivalent to 1~1.5 levels of heat stress. In addition, although the broadleaf evergreen trees had 5% greater mean reduction in PET than that of the deciduous broadleaf trees, the Zelkova serrata that belonged to the deciduous broadleaf trees showed the equivalent thermal reduction effect as the broadleaf evergreen trees because of the high density of branches and leaves. Therefore, the mean radiant temperature and the density of the crown(branches and leaves) were the main influences in thermal modification by these street trees in summer.

        Development of a Denaturing High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (DHPLC) Assay to Detect Parasite Infection in Grass Shrimp Palaemonetes pugio

        In developing a useful tool to detect parasitic dynamics in an estuarine ecosystem, a denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography (DHPLC) assay was optimized by cloning plasmid DNA from the grass shrimp Palaemonetes pugio, and its two parasites,the trematode Microphallus turgidus and bopyrid isopod Probopyrus pandalicola. The optimal separation condition was an oven temperature of 57.9°C and 62-68% of buffer B gradient at a flow rate of 0.45 mL/min. A peptide nucleic acid blocking probe was designed to clamp the amplification of the host gene, which increased the amplification efficiency of genes with low copy numbers. Using the DHPLC assay with wild-type genomic, the assay could detect GC Gram positive bacteria and the bopyrid isopod (P. pandalicola). Therefore, the DHPLC assay is an effective tool for surveying parasitic dynamics in an estuarine ecosystem.

        This study had some purposes to promote and develop training programs. First, this is to identity recognition of importance a current educational training second, this is to find employees' current position, level of carrier, self-realization, and quality of service, and useful information a educational training that offers an increase of operation profits. Thus, this study is expected to provide useful guideline or information in developing educational programs. This study offered theoretical background through literature review on educational program and previous studies. And this attempted to gain empirical data to analyze hypotheses that were developed on preview studies. Through self-administrated questionnaire method, 265 samples were collected. On the lass of collected data, descriptive analyze and factor analysis for importance on educational training, and multiple regression using extracted factors were conducted. As a result, two important of findings to contribute to enhancing importance on educational training and selling growth through these programs. The findings of this study will proved a chance to understand importance of educational program, employees' current position, efforts an carrier development, ability to perform service for customers, contents of educational program to help on increase of sales. Finally, this study will used a significant information when hotel educational programs are applied in actual hotel system.

        Comparison of hemocytic carbonic anhydrase activity of bivalves

        Carbonic anhydrase (CA), which is involved in shell formation processes in bivalves, is one of the major biocatalysts for carbon capture and storage. In this study we investigated CA activity in the total hemocytic proteins of five bivalves. The highest CA activity was observed in Scapharca broughtonii, which had more than twice the activity found in Crassostrea gigas. No CA activity was observed among the total hemocytic proteins of Pinctada fucata and Saxidomus purpuratus. The results suggest that marine invertebrates may provide a better source of CA, as an alternative to mammalian sources.

        완도 영흥지선 연안의 천연 바지락 자원에 대한 연구

        In order to understand the effect of introduction of oyster rack culture on natural short-necked clam, Ruditapes philippinarum, stock, we investigated the status of natural clam stock prior to introduction of oyster rack culture at Yeongheung Coast of Wando Island. The growth equation of the clam was estimated as: Lt = 61.46· (1-e-0.172(t+0.155)) from ring radius composition of shell. Instantaneous coefficient of total mortality and natural mortality were calculated as: 2.4087/year and 0.478/year, respectively. The age at first capture was estimated to be 2.55 year. The total biomass was estimated to 3.23 ton in the bed (0.8 ha). Applied by these parameters, the annual recruit biomass and the current yield per recruit (Y/R) was corresponded to 114.7 individuals/m2 and 92.0 g/m2, respectively. Maximum sustainable yield (MSY) was estimated 0.77 ton/year which was close to annual catches, 0.74 ton/year, in the area.

        굴 (Crassostrea gigas) 수정란 초기발생 단계의 전사체 분석

        In order to understand the gene expression of the Pacific oyster, Crassostrea gigas, during the early development stage of fertilized egg, transcriptome analysis was carried out to identify the embryogenesis-related genes from mRNA of each stage of embryo such as pre-fertilization-, fertilization membrane-, and polar body release-stage, respectively. Specifically expressed genes identified MYC, CDC25B, CCNB1, CLN3, DMC1, ADCY2, ADCY6, FBXO5 in prefertilization-stage, GRR1, CLB3_3, FBXO43 in fertilization membrane-stage, and BUB1B in polar body release-stage, respectively. A quantitative analysis of gene expression identified 6 candidates for embryogenesis regulation genes including PPP1CB, AUR, CDC25A, SLK, NCAPD2 and Hsp70 in the early stage of embryo development. These genes should be useful markers for further studies for gene regulation of polyploidy embryo development.
