        영재판별 검사 여부에 따른 일반유아와 영재유아 간의 자아개념 차이 분석

        본 연구는 일반유아와 영재 유아 간에 자아개념에 어떤 차이가 있는지를 분석함으로써 유아 영재의 정의적 영역에서의 발달을 고려하고자 하는데 목적을 두었다. 따라서 서울 소재 영재교육연구소에서 영재판별검사(지능검사, 창의성검사, 자아개념검사)를 받은 유아 중 1) 영재로 판별된 유아 163명, 2) 영재로 판별되지 않은 유아 130명, 그리고 3) 영재판별검사 경험이 없는 일반 유치원의 유아 155명의 자아개념검사 결과를 분석하였다. 통계처리는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 두 독립집단 t-test와 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 전체 자아개념에 있어서 영재유아가 일반유아에 비해 낮았으나 도덕자아와 능력자아에서는 차이가 없었고, 전반적으로 영재판별 경험이 없는 일반유치원의 유아의 자아개념이 더 높게 나타났다. 연령 별 차이에 있어서는 세 집단 모두 더 어린 연령의 유아(4세)의 자아개념이 더 높았다. 이와 같이 가정과 유아교육기관에서 탁월성을 보여서 영재판별을 받은 유아의 자아개념이 더 낮다는 연구 결과를 통해 앞으로 유아영재교육에 있어서 자아개념과 같은 정의적 특성을 긍정적으로 계발할 수 있도록 지도해야 한다는 점에 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다. 또한 영재부모에 대한 교육도 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to consider the developmental characteristics of gifted children in the affective domain by analyzing the differences in self-concepts between general children and gifted children. Therefore, among the young children who took the giftedness test (intelligence test, creativity test, and self-concept test) at the Gifted Education Research Center in Seoul, 1) 163 children identified as gifted, 2) 130 children not identified as gifted, and 3) 155 children in general kindergarten who have no experience Giftedness Test, the results of the self-concept test were analyzed. For statistical processing, two independent groups t-test and one-way ANOVA were performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. As the results of this study, the overall self-concept of gifted children was lower than that of general children, but there was no difference in moral and ability. In terms of age differences, all three groups had higher self-concepts of younger children (4 years old). Through the results of this study that the self-concept of children who were judged gifted like this was lower, it was possible to find implications for the future education of gifted children so that they could positively develop affective characteristics such as self-concept. In addition, education for gifted child’s parents should also be provided.

        Perception of English Stress by Korean Speakers

        The ways the prosodic system of L1 affects the perception of English stress by EFL learners were investigated in the present paper. For the purpose, the perceptions of English stress by the speakers of the three dialect groups of Korean, namely, Seoul Korean, Chonnam Korean and North Kyungsang Korean, were compared. The comparison revealed cross-dialectal similarities and differences. Regarding the similarities, the three dialect groups all relied on pitch when perceiving English stress, associating high pitch with stress. However, the dependency on pitch varied across dialects. Thus, when perceiving English stress, speakers of Seoul Korean relied on pitch not only less than North Kyungsang Korean speakers, whose language uses pitch at the lexical level, but also less than Chonnam Korean speakers, whose language uses no lexical tone. On the other hand, Chonnam Korean speakers, whose language has a rising tone on a long vowel at the post-lexical level, showed a tendency to associate a rising F0 contour with stress.

        默菴 李鍾一의 近代敎育運動

        Lee Chong Il(Ock Pa, Muk Ahm) was a patriot who was at the head of national rights' regaining against the great Western power's policy of aggression at the late period of Chusun Dynasty. As a communications man, he felt keenly the necessity of reform during his business trip. After returning back, he took an active part in 'Dae Han Ja Gang Hoe', 'Dae Han Hyup Hoe', and published the First edition of Dae Han Jae Guck MinㆍJae Guk Shin Mun in 1906, and contributed to develop Han Gul at Guck Mun Institute. Especially in 1912, he contributed to sublimate the patriotic enlightenment movement into the independence movement organizing 'Chon Do Gyo Kuk Dan'. Furthermore in 1919 he took an active part in publishing and distributing job of 'Declaration of Independence', and it is evident that in 1922 his attempt of the second independence movement on the basis of 'Independence Declaration Paper' was an good example of his social activities.

        The Process-specificity of Weight Criteria : A Case from North Kyungsang Korean

        Theories of weight assume that weight criteria may vary from language to language, but that all phonological processes within the same language will employ a uniform weight criterion. Recent studies on weight show the very opposite: weight criteria are frequently non-uniform within a given language, but there is considerable consistency for each particular weight-sensitive phenomenon. In this paper, I examine four weight-sensitive phenomena in the loanwords of North Kyungsang Korean: high tone accent placement, contour tone restrictions, minimal word requirements and compensatory lengthening. What I find is that there is no tendency for different weight-sensitive phenomena to display the same weight criterion: high tone accent placement and compensatory lengthening treat CVV and CVC as heavy, while contour tone restrictions and minimal word requirements treat only CVV as heavy. Based on this finding, I argue that weight is more process-driven than language-driven.

      • 공영방송 프로그램의 사회적 역할과 문화적 가치

        이 논문은 공영방송 논쟁에서 배제되어 온 방송 프로그램의 문화적 측면으로 논점을 돌려서, 공영방송 논의에서 배제되어 온 수용자를 조명하기 위한 것이다. 방송 프로그램은 일반적인 산업 생산물과 달리 경제적 가치와 문화적 가치를 동시에 포함한다. 이러한 이중성은 방송환경을 둘러싼 다양한 이해집단에 의해 선별적으로 의미를 부여받아 왔다. 공영방송 프로그램의 문화적 가치는 규범형성(도구적 기능), 문화계발(재현), 시대적 감성을 공유하는 공론장, 사회문화의 문서적 기록물 측면에서 고찰해 볼 수 있다. 특히 방송 프로그램은 그 시대를 살아가는 사람들의 현실적이고 보편적인 가치를 담아내기 때문에 역사의 기록체로서 의미를 부여받을 수 있다. 뉴스, 다큐멘터리, 시사 프로그램이 공적 영역의 기록이라면 드라마를 포함한 오락 프로그램은 감성이 동원되는 정서, 간주관적 영역의 기록물이라고 할 수 있다. 방송 프로그램은 시장에서 소외된 계층, 소수자 및 지역에 대한 배려 등 상업방송이 간과하고 있는 부분에서 그 문화적 역할과 가치를 인식해야 할 것이다. This study aims to focus on cultural aspects-which have been overlooked in the debates over public broadcasting, and on such cultural users. Broadcast programs, unlike general industrial products, encompass both economic and cultural values. This two-faceted aspect has been selectively focused on by diverse interest groups of broadcasting. Cultural values of public broadcast programs can be examined from the aspects of norm formation, cultural development, a public sphere of sharing the emotions of the current times, and archives of social and cultural records. Notably, broadcast programs, which reflect the practical, general values of the current times` people, thereby serve as meaningful records. News, documentaries, and news programs constitute records in the public sector, while dramas and entertainment programs constitute subjective records of emotions in the private sector, thereby encompassing unconscious desires of contemporary people. Traditionally, public broadcasts made light of entertainment programs. However, amid a fierce competition of multimedia and multiple channels, public broadcasts should serve not only as an enlightenment tool, but also as an important entertainment tool. As broadcast programs are increasingly changing into an entertainment tool, public broadcasts could not be free from This trend, but public broadcast programs, importantly, should play their cultural role in the areas of marginalized members of our society, and minority people and regions which are overlooked by commercial broadcasts.
