        말차(抹茶) 첨가에 따른 증편의 품질 특성

        The purpose of this study is to find out the optimal mixing ratios of Mal-Cha for the preparation of Jeung-Pyun through sensory and mechanical tests. The proximate composition of Mal-Cha were $5.46\pm0.15\%$ of moisture, $4.43\pm0.11\%$ of total nitrogen, $7.52\pm0.21\%$ of crude lipid, $8.74\%$ of crude fiber, $8.51\pm0.09\%$ of ash. Overall quality of Jeung-Pyun with $1.5\%$ Mal-Cha was the worst compare with 0, 0.5 and $1.0\%$ ones(p<0.05). Especially, $1.0\%$ Mal-Cha Jeung-Pyun showed the best overall quality. But the sweetness, sourness, flavor, hardness, and moistnes were not significantly different among all the treatments. Acceptabilities of 0.5 and $1.0\%$ Mal-Cha Jeung-Pyuns were not significantly different from that of the control in their sensory and mechanical qualities. Total color difference increased with the amount of Mal-Cha significantly(p<0.001).

        비파열매 분말을 첨가한 쉬폰 케이크의 품질 특성

        The loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is a plant belonging to the Rosaceae family, native to south-central China. It is cultivated in relatively warm areas such as Spain, Japan and South Korea. It is used commercially as an ornamental plant and for its yellow fruit, which contains much carotenoid, sugar and a little organic acid. In this study, chiffon cakes were prepared with the addition of 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% loquat fruit powder (LFP) in order to invest the mixing conditions. When more LFP was added to the dough, the pH level of the dough became lower. Specific gravity and viscosity of the dough significantly increased as higher amounts of LFP were added. In baked cakes, the weight and baking loss rate of LFP were not significantly different between samples, and the height of the risen test samples were lower than that of the controls. Moisture content was 33.58% in the 12% LFP sample (12% LFPS), which was the highest of all the samples. With respect to crust color, lightness, redness and, yellowness, these significantly decreased as the amount of LFP was increased, the 12% LFP being the lowest of all the samples. Lightness and yellowness of crumbs significantly decreased as the amount of LFP was increased, whereas redness showed the reverse effect. When looking at hardness and adhesiveness, the 12% LFPS was the highest of all the samples, nevertheless a difference in resilience was not significant among the samples. According to consumer perception, bitterness was significantly increased as amounts of LFP increased, however a difference in salty, astringency and oily tastes were not significant among the samples. The 12% LFPS showed the lowest score with respect to softness and overall acceptability. In conclusion, LFP could be considered a functional material, with the optimum amount of LFP for a chiffon cake of 3~9%.

      • 선로 전압 조정을 위한 DSTATCOM 제어

        Two control techniques - PI and LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) - of DSTATCOM (Distribution Static Synchronous Compensator) for line voltage regulation in distribution system are presented. It is shown that the voltage waveform is improved if the proposed methods are applied in IEEE 13 radial distribution system using PSCAD/EMTDC package in case of single line-to-ground fault. The three cases - without control, with PI control and with LQR control - are compared. The LQR control is shown to be best in respect of response profile and control effort required among them. 본 논문에서는 배전 계통에서 전압 파형 개선을 위하여 배전용 정지형 보상기(DSTATCOM)의 제어 기법 2가지를 보였다. 1선 지락 사고 시에 제시한 방법을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 선로 전압 파형이 개선됨을 알 수 있다. 또한 비제어 및 PI 제어와 LQR 제어를 비교하였다. 요구되는 응답 특성 및 제어 효과에서 LQR 제어가 우수함을 보이고 PSCAD/EMTDC을 이용하여 검증하였다.

        중국과 일본의 주요 일간지에 실린 대중문화 한류 관련 뉴스 분석

        본 연구에서는 중국과 일본의 주요 일간지에서 대중문화 한류를 어떻게 보도했는지에 관해 분석하였다. 분석기간은 2009년 1월 1일부터 2012년 5월 31일까지다. 분석대상은 중국의『??인민일보』와『경화시보』에 보도된 총 291건의 기사, 일본의『요미우리신문』과『아사히신문』에서 보도된 총 347건의 기사다. 분석 유목으로는 6개의 대중문화 한류 장르, 3개의 논조, 그리고 5개의 뉴스 프레임을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 장르, 논조, 장르별 논조, 그리고 지배적 뉴스 프레임의 양적분포에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이와 특징을 도출할 수 있었다. 또한 분석 결과와 해당 국가의 사회적 문화적 맥락, 분석 대상 일간지의 매체적 속성 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 뉴스 보도에 내재되어 있는 보도 시각과 태도를 종합적으로 파악하여 제시하였다. 본 연구의 함의는 한류 최대 수입 국가의 주요 언론에서 보도한 한류 기사 내용을 분석함으로써 한류는 물론 우리 대중문화의 방향성을 탐색했다는 점에서 찾을 수 있다. This paper examines the reporting attitude, theme and prevalent frames in news relating to the Korean wave in the mainstream newspapers in China and Japan between 2009 and 2012. The flood of the Korean popular culture ? films, pop music and especially TV dramas into the rest of Asia around since the late 1990s became to be known as the Korean wave, which has also been swiftly making its presence felt in other parts of the world such as Europe. This study aims to investigate the Korean Wave in Asia by analyzing the Korean wave news of Chinese and Japanese newspapers. The total of 291 articles have been collected from China’s People’s Daily and Jinghua Daily; 347 articles from Japan’s Yomiuri Sinbun and Asahi Sinbun have been analyzed. The findings showed that more Korean Wave news were reported in positive perspective than negative perspective, and cultural interest frame was the most predominant frame followed by comparison/competition/cooperation frame in both nations. Overall, we found that the way the Korean wave is framed in the news reflects the differences in culture and national context and that it has important implications for public understanding and evaluations of the Korean wave.

        매스미디어의 사회적 책임과 어카운터빌리티

        본 연구의 목적은 매스미디어의 위기 타개 및 개혁을 위한 규범이론의 내용과 범위를 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 허친스 보고서와 함께 허친스 보고서를 사상적 토대로 한 기존의 사회적 책임이론 관련 논의를 검토하여 한계점 및 시사점을 살펴보았다. 허친스 보고서는 매스미디어의 책임과 어카운터빌리티를 도덕적·법적 의무로 제시하였으며 미디어와 시민의 상호 협력관계 속에서 적극적 자유 이행이 가능하다고 보았다. 하지만, 사회적 책임이론에서 미디어의 책임은 어카운터빌리티에 관한 논의가 결여된 채, ‘기능’, ‘자율적 윤리’, ‘자율규제’를 중심으로 논의되어 소극적 자유로서의 한계를 노출해왔다. 따라서 자율규제나 기능주의적 접근에 의한 미디어의 사회적 책임 논의를 미디어 어카운터빌리티를 기반으로 한 적극적 자유 개념으로 확장할 필요가 있다. 그리고 사회적 토론과 합의를 거쳐 사회적 책임의 내용과 범위를 도출해 내야 한다. 허친스 보고서가 권고한 미디어 어카운터빌리티는 매스미디어가 시민사회와의 상호 커뮤니케이션을 통해서 ‘사회적 자율규제’를 실천하기 위한 민주적 방안으로서, 그리고 사회적 책임이론에 내재되어 있는 한계 극복을 위해 유용하다. 따라서 다원적 미디어시스템 하에서 미디어 환경 개선과 신뢰 회복을 도모하기 위해서는 각각의 미디어 특성에 걸맞은 사회적 책임 그리고 어카운터빌리티의 내용 및 범위를 명확히 하기 위해 논의를 확장해야 한다. The purpose of the study is to suggest contents, and a range of a Normative Theory and a practice for overcoming a crisis of the Mass media. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a limitation and implication of Social Responsibility Theory was looked into by investigating a Hutchins Report. Hutchins Report suggested the related points at moral duty and legal obligation in implementing mass media’s Social Responsibility and Accountability, with relations in publics and community. However, within a view point of a lack of Accountability, Social Responsibility Theory limited responsibility to the realm of ‘function’, ‘self-regulation’ and ‘self-ethics’. In order to promote mass media’s quality and serve to rehabilitate its reliability under the pluralistic media system, the contents of Social Responsibility and its scope should be suggested. Media Accountability is a starting point to draw out the contents and scope of Social Responsibility and also a valid democratic plan for mass media to ‘social self-regulation’ through the mutual communication with civil society. For future Social Responsibility and Media Accountability that is suitable for various mass media, and contents and a range should be defined.

        공감과 연민, 그리고 정동(affect)

        이 연구는 ‘커뮤니케이션의 역설’(paradox of communication) 현상을 극복하기 위한 시론으로, 감정에 주목하였다. 감정이 제대로 작동해야만 이성 역시 정상적인 작동이 가능하기 때문이다. 인지적이고 가치평가적인 감정에 대한 이해는 인간적 선의를 파악하는 방식뿐 아니라 정치가 어떻게 인간의 번영에 기여해야 하는지에 관한 숙고에도 영향을 미친다. 특히, 타인에 대한 공감과 연민은 커뮤니케이션적 실천이며, 스피노자의 철학적 사유를 토대로 한 정동의 윤리학은 감정의 긍정적인 변이와 공통 관념의 형성에 유용하다. 나아가 감정 이론은 실천이성 이론이나 규범적 윤리학과 연결된다. 이 글에서는 이성과 합리성을 기반으로 한 저널리즘 규범과 실천의 한계를 지적하고, 저널리즘 분석과 비평의 패러다임을 감정 영역, 특히 공감과 연민, 정동 등으로 확장할 필요가 있음을 주장한다. 그리고 감성 공론장, 미디어 정동 능력, 감정 지능 등의 개념을 저널리즘 규범과 실천, 저널리즘 분석과 비평 영역에 적용할 것을 제언하였다. This research focused on the emotion which is the public sentiment to overcome the phenomenon of communication paradox. Emotion should be properly operated on a par with rationality. The understandings of emotion affect the comprehension of good human intentions, and how the politics deliberate the contribution of the human prosperities. Especially the empathy and compassion to the others are fulfillment of the communications, and ethics of affect founded on a philosophical reasoning of Spinoza is useful for development of emotional affirmative modification and common notion. Cognitive and value assessing emotional theory is connected with the practical reasoning theory or normative ethics. This thesis pointed out the limitations of journalism’s norms and practices based on the reasonings and rationalities. And this study also asserted that the paradigms of journalism analysis and criticism should be extended to the emotional sphere. Finally, this research proposed that the concepts, such as affective public sphere, media affective competence, and emotional intelligence, should be applied to the journalism’s norms and practices, analysis and criticism.

        남부지역 도시녹지의 난대상록활엽수 동해피해 특성

        The aim of this study was to investigate the damage characteristics induced by winter freezing ofevergreen broad-leaved trees distributed in urban area of warm temperate forest zone, which are gainingincreased interest recently as climate change. The results of the study indicated that, as for ‘stem injury’,Camellia japonica Linne (59.6%) had the weakest damage, while Ternstroemia gymnanthera Sprague (83.3%)had the most severe damage. By the visual evaluation of freezing injury according to the characteristics ofplantations environment, the observations of single planting (p<0.01) in planting method had weaker damagethan those of group planting, the observations of under tree (p<0.001), plain (p<0.001), and organic matterplenty (p<0.05) in plantations characteristics had significant differences with relatively weaker damage than theobservations of open space, slop, and scarcity, respectively. Tree height (-0.432) and crown width (-0.470)among growth factors were negatively correlated with the severity of damage, respectively. Therefore, theselection of tree species is vital for the successful creation of these urban forested area by making considerationsof planting environment, and further research on evergreen broad-leaved trees is needed in this aspect.

        보문 : 미용 소재 개발을 위한 연잎의 항산화 효과 탐색

        Nelumbo nucifera (Lotus, N. nucifera) is a popular aqueous plant in Eastern Asia. Leaves (Nelumbinis Folium) of N. nucifera are traditionally used to disperse body heat during the summer and is said to increase essential body energies, according traditional Oriental Medicine, and are becoming popular as ingredient of healthy tea. In the recent years, since many synthetic antioxidants have been shown to have side effects, there has been an increase of interest in natural products as antioxidants in scavenging free radicals. In the present study, we first analyzed composition of Nelumbinis folium(NF), and evaluated the possible antioxidative activities of it`s ethanol extracts. Therefore, we measured the effects of NF on scavenging activities against DPPH radical, hydroxyl radical, superoxide radical and hydrogen peroxide. Consequently, 10 μg/mL of ethanol extract from NF exhibited higher scavenging activity coefficient than that of BHT against all. These results indicate that NF protects oxidative activities through scavenging of free radials.
