        3차 의료기관 피부과에 내원한 환자를 대상으로 한 피부과 전문의에 대한 인식도 조사

        Background: Nowadays in Korea, the diagnosis and treatment of the skin diseases by non-dermatologists are surprisingly frequent, and dermatologists often encounter patients who could not distinguish a non-dermatologist from a dermatologist. Thus, misdiagnoses and complications might increase as well. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the awareness and attitudes of patients, who seek treatment for their skin diseases, toward dermatologists and non-dermatologists in Korea. Methods: Between September and December 2014, a total 221 dermatologic outpatients, who visited Chonbuk National University Hospital, were asked to complete a questionnaire. The questions covered its accordance with their visiting intention, practical ability to differentiate a dermatologist from other specialists, criteria for choosing the clinic for skin conditions, consciousness about cutaneous treatment by dermatologists, and others. Results: The ratio of male to female was 1:1.7, and the mean age was 40.5 (±13.18) years. Even though 34.8% of patients answered that they could distinguish between a dermatologist and a non-dermatologist, only 19.0% of the total patients were able to recognize the signboard of dermatologists. The most common criteria for choosing a clinic was if a dermatologist is present to administer treatment. Most patients did not want to visit a nondermatologist for both the treatment of skin disease and cosmetic treatment. Conclusion: Many patients desiring dermatologic and cosmetic treatments wanted to see dermatologist; however, their ability to distinguish dermatologist from non-dermatologist was found to be very low. We suggest that the medical law in Korea needs to be improved such that the specialists are required to display a symbol issued by their own society on their signboards.       • 지속가능과학 인력양성을 위한 교육과정의 개발

        지속가능과학은 지구와 인류의 지속가능성을 유지하기 위한 학문으로서 태동하였다. 지속가능과학을 통하여 지속가능 이슈를 다루기 위해서는 이 분야의 인재양성을 통하여 지속가능과학을 전파하고 지속가능한 세계를 구현할 수 있어야 하겠다. 이를 위하여 생태계의 수용 능력 안에서 미래 세대가 자신들의 필요를 충족시킬 수 있는 능력을 훼손하지 않으면서 현재의 필요를 충족시키기 위한 교육 과정을 수립하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 문제해결 능력이 있는 인재 양성을 목표로 국내 대학의 학사과정, 석사과정, 박사과정 등으로 구분하여 교육과정을 개발하여 제안하고자 한다. Sustainability science came about as a new academic discipline to help maintaining the earth and the world. To deal with the sustainability issue through the sustainability science, it is necessary to develop human resources and let them spread the science and help realize the stainable world. For this purpose we are to establish the curriculum for the sustainability science to satisfy current needs for humanity without sacrificing future capacity for supporting next generations. In this paper we propose curriculums for undergraduate, graduate programs for the sustainability science for the purpose of training human resources with the problem-solving ability in this field.

      • 분산분석에 대한 통계소프트웨어 활용 : SAS, SPSS/PC+ 와 S-PLUS를 중심으로 SAS, SPSS/PC+ and S-PLUS

        The Analysis of Variance(ANOVA) is a general tool for analysing desinged experiments. Among the many statistical softwares on ANOVA available in personal computers, we will review SAS(version 6.04), SPSS/PC+(version 4.0) and S-PLUS(version 2.0). SAS and SPSS/PC+are popular data analysis systems, and S-PLUS is an interactive graphical data analysis system. Statistical graphics give many informations aobut the main effects and the interaction effects in experimental data, and diagnostics about the model design. S-PLUS is very useful in these respects. Combining the analysis by SAS ans SPSS/PC+ with graphical displays of S-PLUS will give good interpretation of designed experiments.
