EAF 분진의 화학적처리에 의한 금속아연의 제조에 관한 연구

EAF dust which is contained around 30% of zinc, 15% of iron and 3% of lead individually, is chemically treated by ammonium chloride, ammonia water, ammonia gas and carbon dioxide, and also tested and identified the ratios of the recovery of Zn by applied the variations of particle size, pH and heating temperature as well, in order to getting optimized recovery of the Zn metal after performing all of those processes. Experimental results showed that the rate of Zn recovery is 97% when the mixture of 1.3 of NH4Cl/EAF is heated to the temperature of 400℃ and leached by water, and 95% recovery of Zn when ammonia gas and carbon dioxide is added simultaneously and adjust the 9.5 of pH to the same mixture above. For the purpose of remove the impurities in the mixed sample, which is prepared by the two samples, indicated above showing as the ratio of 95% and 97% recovery, in case of applied the cementation process to it, and also by electrolytic process, produced the Zn plate of 95~97%, and acquired 99~99.5% of Zn metal ingot finally by applied the heating process at 470~500℃

Elution effect was studied by the reactions between Electric arc furnace(EAF)dust and cone. or dil. sulfuric acid for the purpose of recoverying of the useful metals afterwards. The methods of mixing with acids and EAF dust for the elutions were depend on the ratios of acid/EAF dust. Experimental results showed that increased the ratios of sulfuric acids, decreased the elution effects are on the Zn, Fe and Mn, and conc. sulfuric acid showed higher elution effects than dil. sulfuric acids for the all metals. But in case of Pb, dil. sulfuric acid showed higher elution effects than cone. sulfuric acids conversely. Furthermore, the reason of the extreamly low quantities of eluted Pb is caused by the low solubilities by sulfuric acids compared to the other metals, as the results of the insoluble Pb is removed by the process of filtering.

The processes for the preparation of ZnO powder by using EAF(electric arc furnace)dust was studied by wetting method which are divided to two steps, carried out of the elution processes by various concentrations of sulfuric acid is reacted with EAF dust as the former, and the latter were performed by a number of specified processes, which are leaching process depends on various pH, cementation, ozone and heat treatment processes etc. Experimental results showed that the appropriate pH range is pH7.5~8.0 and the resulting zinc content is range of 37~38%, the residual quantities of the heavy metals are less than 3ppm individually by cementation process except Mn, even though the Mn metal could not be removed by cementation process but was removed up to 0.2ppm by the ozone process from 70ppm initially. Finally, 80.2% of ZnO was obtained by the heat treatment at 500℃.

반도체 산업의 3대 원재료인 리드프레임은 보통 구리로 만들어진 구조물로서, 반도체의 내부와 외부회로를 연결해 주는 전기도선의 역할과 반도체를 지지해주는 버팀대 역할을 하는 핵심부품이다. 구리합금소재의 리드프레임 생산방식에는 화학적인 반응을 이용하여 금속을 부식하여 제품을 생산하는 에칭(etching)방식이 있다. 이 에칭과정에서 구리가 함유된 에칭폐액이 다량 발생한다. 환경적인 측면과 에너지 재활용 측면에서 이 다량의 폐액 처리가 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고농도 리드프레임 에칭폐액의 맞춤형 정제과정을 개발하였다. 또한 에너지비용이 많이 드는 소성과정이 없는 2단계 화학반응과 연계하여 viafilling 도금용 산화구리(II) 제조공정의 최적화를 하였다.
Copper(II) oxide powder manufacture for via-filling plating from H2O2 type etching wastes

Copper(II) oxide powder manufacture from H2O2 type etching waste is proposed. The basic coppercarbonate, the intermediate product, is depends on the reaction mole ratio of sodium carbonate to copperhydroxide. The optimum reaction mole ratio is 2.64 at 80 C under copper content of 57.5 wt.%. The optimum usage of NaOH is 120 g for Copper(II) oxide. The Copper(II) oxide yield and chlorine ionconcentration, are 97.0 wt.% and 9.0 mg L, respectively. The physical properties, such as mean particlesize, dissolution time, and angle of repose are 20.0 mm, 60 s, and 34.1 , respectively. The via-holefillingthickness is 9.4 mm, which satisfies general electroplating criteria, 15 mm.
