      • 스포츠 윤리학의 과제분석

        전형상 고려대학교 스포츠과학연구소 1995 스포츠科學論叢 Vol.7 No.1

Ethics is the science on the inner line of thinking of people as the science about the realm of morals. And, it is the science which was made into theory by linking this inner moral consciousness to the practice. That is, if we help the establishment of principle to make one decide on the basis of the possibility, $quot; How should we live?$quot; which in not the actuality, $quot; What is the ethics?$quot;, sports ethics is the science to teach the right goal and action about $quot; How should we do the sports?$quot; Many ethical issues have the direct relation with sports. 1. In the real sportsman and morals, the difference between false practice and real practice is generated, according to whether we make the ideal game into the inside which is not the theoretical basis and we entrust to its ruling. So, it is deemed that high culture, practice of sports and understanding of sports must follow. Thus, the practice of ideal of sports and the relevancy to be immanent will have to be grasped and handled. 2. As for the sports morals in the everyday and non-everyday, human everyday is ruled by others, and people cannot help worrying due to the instability of life etc. So, body is felt with pain, and it becomes the body of everyday As the ethics has developed as the science to relate to everyday world like this, there is the morality of play in non-everyday, that is, play. Thus, if one does not keep it, it is not interesting and joyful. And, when we regard the subject of such study as the ethics of non-everyday, maybe, the aspect of non-everyday will be the subject of study also. 3. In victory or defeat and competition and sports moral, sports has many events to fight to the last, and it is the bodily activity to be accompanied by competition. And, recently, there is the tendency to accept the sports as the ascetic practices which is not competition or conquest. This is because the sports, itself which broke the frame of outside of victory or defeat to transcend victory or defeat is being close up. It is dangerous to see the essence of sports wrong by getting dazzled by the interest of victory or defeat, and it is to lead the people to the wrong direction. So, this distinction will have to be the subject of discussion of sports morals. 4. From the viewpoint of social morals of sports, sports and society affect deep influence mutually, and they have close relevancy. And, sports has been reinforcing the influence on the life and human life of the people all over the world, by being transfigured with various forms. So, in the sports, the form of human life of community characteristic must be formed, and the socio-political power must be excluded. This is necessary for increasing the national health or finding the racial consistency also. Here, the social moral side of sports will have to be considered as the subject of study. The author tried to analyzed the subject of sports morals as above. But, the study of sports ethics has much tendency to be criticized unscientific from all other sciences in the point that is the universality or reproduction nature of conclusion. So, it is considered that the issue phenomenon must be studied with the close logic unfolding, as the law scholar performed, apart from the scientific proof method.
