        점화제 주입에 따른 강내탄도 성능해석

        Using the numerical code for the interior ballistics, the performance of the interior ballistics with the characteristic of the ignition-gas injections has been investigated. The ignition gas has been assumed to be injected into the chamber with 3 cases. As the results of analysis, when the ignition-gas has been injected into all chamber area, the pressure distributions of the chamber of the interior ballistics have been uniform and the differential pressure has been stable. The ignition-gas has been injected into the partial area of the chamber, however, the pressure distributions and the differential pressure have been unstable. The case using the longer ignition injector, therefore, seems to be more suitable to improve the stability of the interior ballistics.

      • Flavonoids Chemistry of the Adonis amurensis Complex in Eastern Asia

        Flavonoids were isolated and identified from flowers and/or leaves of the Adonis amurensis complex. This complex has been a persistent source of taxonomic confusion due to the exclusive use of continuous variation in flower morphology for species definition and recognition. Nineteen flavonoids, including C-glycosylflavones, Oglycosylflavones, and flavonol O-glycosides were characterized. The flavonoids isolated from flowers and leaves of the A. amurensis complex were not the same. The phenogram indicated three major clusters; A. multiflora, A. ramosa-A. pseudoamurensis, and A. amurensis. A. amurensis was characterized by a higher flavonoid diversity composed of a variety of C-glycosylflavones, while A. multiflora was generally characterized by a reduced flavonoid profiles. It is probable that evolutionary advancement is reflected in loss of some of C-glycosylflavone and all of O-glycosylflavone synthesis, resulting in A. multiflora within this series. The present study has demonstrated that the flavonoid chemistry may indeed be as variable as the morphological features, and no significant flavonoid differences at the species level were observed. It was suggested that parallel and/or radiate modes of evolution could have taken place within this complex.

        1차원 수치 해석을 통한 강내탄도 성능해석

        Performance analysis of the interior ballistics has been conducted using the 1-D numerical code called IBcode according to the various conditions such as length of ignition-gas injector, amount of ignition-gas, mass of projectile, and drag force of projectile. In case of the length of ignition-gas injector, the 25~100 % of the full-injector length has been considered as well as the mass & mass flow of the ignition-gas. The mass of the projectile 5~70 kg and its drag force of 0~69 MPa have been also considered. Variables such as breech & base pressure, negative differential pressure and muzzle velocity for the performance analysis have been sorted, too. Firing conditions for the optimal performance have been investigated through these variables.

      • 경기도 북부에 소재한 開明山의 植物相

        개명산 지역의 일반식물상을 밝히고 정밀한 식물분포 자료 및 특정식물종에 대한 정보를 구축하기 위하여 조사를 실시하였다. 개명산을 대상으로 총 6개 경로를 선정하여 조사를 실시하였다. 조사지역내에 1km×1km의 지도상의 격자를 33개 설치하여 각 격자 내에서 정밀한 식생과 특정식물종의 분포를 파악할 수 있도록 하였다. 조사결과 개명산지역 산림에는 61과 124속 163종류의 식물이 자생하는 것으로 확인되었으며 특정식물종으로는 솔붓꽃 한 종류만이 발견되었다. 현재의 조사결과를 바탕으로 각 지역별 보전우선 지역을 파악한 결과 환경부의 특정식물종이 발견된 F2지역과 다양한 초본식생이 발견되는 C2, E2 지역에 대한 보전에 있어 우선순위가 부여되어야 하는 것으로 확인되었다. Mt. Gae-myeong (alt. 621.8m) and adjacent regions were investigated for floristic study using the GPS. Also, our current field work was intended to inventory rare and endangered plants using thirty three meshes and six routes. From this study, 163 taxa of 61 families and 124 genera were found and collected. Major vegetation type was composed of oak community here, such as Quercus serrata - Q. dentata - Q. mongolica - Q. acutissima. Also, many planted taxa, Larix kaempferi - Pinus rigida - Pinus koraiensis were easily found within the investigated area. Among many studied sites, three meshes, C2, E2, and F2 were found to be core area for protection.

      • 물들메나무(Fraxinus chiisanensis Nakai)의 分類學的 再考

        Morphological characteristics and flavonoids of four taxa of Fraxinus [F. chiisanensis Nakai, F. mandshurica Rupr., F. chinensis Roxb. ex Carrey var. rhynchophylla (Hance) Hemsl., F. sieboldiana Blume.] in Korea with one closely related species of China and Japan (F. platypoda Oliv.) have been investigated for taxonomic implications of an endemic taxon, F. chiisanensis in Korea. Morphologically, F. chiisanensis was clearly distinguished from other three taxa due to the presence of panicle from leafless lateral bud of previous year, brownish naked bud, and persistent calyx and absence of corolla. The flavonoids analysis generated two distinctive groups: chinensis type (F. mandshurica , F. chinensis var. rhynchophylla, and F. sieboldiana, flavonols with C-glycosylflavone, flavoanone) and chiisanesis type (F. chiisanensis , flavones with flavonols, C-glycosylflavone, flavanone types). This study showed that F. chiisanensis was included into subgen. Fraxinus, sect. Melioides according to Chang and Qiu's classification. Also it was revealed that F. chiisanensis was not a hybrid between F. mandshurica and F. chinensis var. rhynchophylla.F. platypoda, a taxon of sect. Melioides in China and Japan, was different from F. chiisanensis due to the presence of scaled bud, decurrent wing of fruit and flavonoids. In conclusion,F. chiisanensis was an endemic species of Korea.

        Preparation of Heat-treated Iron-Phthalocyanine Cathode Catalysts and their Active Sites Evaluation for Oxygen Reduction Reaction in Alkaline Media#

        A heat-treated iron-phthalocyanine cathode catalyst was used to oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in alkaline media. Heat-treatment temperature was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. Physicochemical characterizations of the electrocatalysts were performed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The electrochemical activities of the catalysts were examined for ORR in alkaline media using rotating disk electrode (RDE) system. Acid treatment of iron-phthalocyanine was conducted to assess the role of metal in the nitrogen-containing non-noble metal catalyst. Durability studies were carried out by means of an accelerated durability test of 4000 voltametric cycles. ORR activities were higher when the catalysts were treated at lower temperature. As a result of the XPS and ORR tests, the transition metal itself is not an active site for ORR. Nitrogen appeared to be the active site of heat-treated iron phthalocyanines for ORR in alkaline media.

      • 국내 식물의 종자성숙기에 관한 고찰 (Ⅱ) : 목본식물을 중심으로 Determination of the best dates for seed collections of woody plants

        The seeds of 163 taxa at front the diverse wild populations in south Korea were collected by our staffs of the Arboretum for six years (1995-2000). More then 138 taxa (ca, 85%) were collected mainly from September to October. Successful long-terml survey is recommended to determine the befit dates for seed collections of woody plants in Korea.

      • A biosystematic Study on Natural Populations of Quercus mongolica Fischer in Korea and Japan

        It was intended to investigate a relationship between Quercus mongolica and its variety, var. grosseserrata occurring to Korea and Japan. Through studies on chemical and morphological characters of 300 specimens collected from 12 natural populations in Korea and Japan, the following results were obtained. 1) The paper chromatography profiles of flavonoids (phenolic compounds) and the morphological leaf characters were closely related each other. 2) Quercus mongolica var. grosseserrata in Japan exhibited a regression line (Y - 0.824X + 16.650, r=0.64), which linked with Q. mongolica and Q. serrata, using LDP (leaf depth percentage) and Leaf angle. 3) The Width/Length ratio in fruits of pure line was significantly higher (nearly 1.0) than that of putative hybrids. 4) The leaf shape in Japan followed closely the obovateness along northward, and in Korea was found that they showed two groups within same populations, that was, ellitical and obovate leaf form. 5) Minor phenolic variation between populations was detected in Korea and Japan, and could be used effectively as a determinant of hybrids. 6) Q. mongolica originated in the northern part of Asia migrated gradually toward south and east, which developed into 4 groups, 1. Mt. Halla-Jiri region, 2. the other Korean region, 3. Hokkaido region, 4. The other Japanese region by mixing Q. serrata. 7) It was proved that Quercus × grosseserrata B1. were right treatment than a variety of Q. mongolica. However, those collected in Japan appeared to be closer to Q. serrata, while those of Korean were closer to Q. mongolica in appearance.
