세상을 비추는 일그러진 거울, 광기와 예술 - 푸코와 『광기의 역사』와 메를로-퐁티의 「세잔의 의심」을 중심으로 -

예술이 사회를 반영하고 비춘다는 예술이론은 현대 예술의 등장과 더불어 더 이상 지지될 수 없는 것처럼 여겨질 수 있다. 특히 현대 예술가들에서 현저한 기행적 행적이나 광인적 면모들을 생각해볼 때 사회를 올바르게 인식하고 판단하는 이성 능력이 결여된 광인들의 작업을 통해서 이러한 모방론은 견지될 수 없을 것 같다. 그러나 본 글은 모방론의 이데올로기적이고 교조적 측면에서 벗어나서 광기에 대한 프로이트나 푸코의 담론과 관련시켜 그것을 새롭게 해석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 현대예술과 관련하여 모방적 예술론을 폐기하거나 모방론에 근거하여 현대예술을 평가하는 태도에서 거리두기하기 위해서 매개적으로 중요하게 분석되고 있는 것은 데카르트적 코기토이다. 광인은 이러한 주체의 부정으로서 규정되기 때문에 이러한 근대주체의 상징적 구현으로서의 예술 개념과 양립불가능하나 현대 예술은 이 두 개념이 겹쳐지고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 광기와 예술의 상관성 문제는 근대 주체의 개념과 예술의 모방 개념 모두를 새롭게 할 수 있다. Traditional art theory, stating that artists represent their societies, is less supported since modern art emerged. Especially because insane behaviors and isolated attitudes in the modern artists have been obserbed, as long as they think the subject in mimesis demands the ability to recognize and grab their world's essence, the insane have been regarded as the lack of the reason. Thus irrational aspects in modern arts don't look to fit the mimesis theory any more. This article, however, attempts to overcome the ideological and dogmatic approaches in mimesis and to reinterpret it in relation to the discourses of Freud, Foucault and Merleau-Ponty about insanity. Likewise, the Cartesian cogito and conception of doubt need to be reanalyzed as intermediate in the process of reaching this goal, for we have no intention of abandoning the mimesis as art theory not to be applied in the modern art any more, or to evaluate specific modern art works on the basis of the mimesis theory. The insane are regarded as the denial of the modern subject, but art as conception has supported the modern subject representatively and, ironically, now the modern irrational art contains these two incompatible concepts. So if we could find these correlates of insanity and art, we could renew both the cogito and mimesis in criticizing the traditional.

전기이온영동기아 초음파 미용기를 병용한 기미의 향상도 연구

During the period from April 2nd, 2001 to May 30th, 2001., 12 times of skin care treatment using jointly with electric ion beauty appliance and ultrasound beauty appliance are performed to 20 women volunteers who are healthy and have the freckles among the customers of skin care treatment shop. They are treated 2∼3 times per week and skin care schedule are carried out as follows per day; one is from 9:30am to 12:00am and the other is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The skin care treatment effect evaluation of the freckles is used MASI(Melasma Area and Severity Index) score and for objective measurement, the brightness & color difference is assessed only using color difference value of the L* within the three measurement color difference(L^*, a^*, b^*) of the Chromameter CR-300, which is one of the colorimetric examination. The results are as follows; 1. The period from occurrence of the freckle to experiment beginning are various from 8 months to 13 years and the average period of the case history is 6.67 years. The aggravation factor of the freckles is most ultraviolet rays and the others are internal secretion factor and mental uneasiness. Also, there are a few subjects related to the stress. The epidermis and complex types are 8 subjects each and the dermis type is 4 subjects. 2. Before and after use jointly electric ion beauty appliance and ultrasound beauty appliance, the differences of the MASI score and the L* value are statistically indicated significant(P(0.001). 3. The improvement effects according to the types of the freckles are as belows;In the subjects group of peidermis and complex types, the difference of the MASI score and the L* value are statistically indicated significant before & after skin care treatment. But, there is no significant differences in the subjects group of the dermis types. 4. After 12 times of skin care treatment, the subjective evaluation of the freckle improvement in subjects are; 11 subjects response considerable improvement and 6 subjects a bit. The subjective satisfaction for the most of them is highly indicated. Above all, the freckle improvement and subjective satisfaction in who age is younger, case history is shorter and the region of the freckle is less, are higher than the others. As the result of this study using jointly electric ion beauty appliance and ultrasound beauty appliance, most of the subjects show improved effect and satisfacted this method. The treatment method of using jointly electric ion beauty appliance and ultrasound beauty appliance is actively performed as one of the skin care treatment programs.

Sphingolipids, which include ceramide and sphingosine, are essential structural components of cell membranes that also have messenger functions that regulate the proliferation, survival, and death of cells. Apoptosis of cancer cells contribute to anti-tumor activity. In this study, exogenous application of C2 ceramide on cell proliferation and caspase-3 activity in human fibrosarcoma cell were evaluated (HT 1080). HT 1080 cells in the presence of various concentrations (0, 5, 10 or 20uM) of C2 ceramide were incubated. C2 ceramide caused a complete inhibition of cell proliferation in a dose dependent manner(p<0.05). C2 ceramide-induced cell death was characterized with the changes in activation of caspase-3 activity(p<0.05). These results suggest that fibrosarcoma cell loss by apoptosis can be regulated, in part, by C2 ceramide which increases caspase-3 activity. Thus, pharmacological manupulation of sphingolipid metabolism to enhance tumor cell offers a novel approach to cancer chemotherapy.

메를로-퐁티 언어철학에서 소쉬르의 영향

이 글은 메를로-퐁티 작업에서 소쉬르의 영향을 추적하고 그것을 통해서 그의 후기 철 학의 주요 개념인 바, 보이는 것과 보이지 않는 것의 얽힘 문제를 구체화시키고자 한다. 이러한 작업은 단지 메를로-퐁티의 기호론적 관점을 드러내거나 언어철학적 측면을 드러 내기 위한 것이 아니라 기호론적 관점에서 그의 정치, 사회철학적인 측면을 명료하게 드러 내기 위한 예비적 시도이기도 하다. 메를로-퐁티의 관점에서 소쉬르의 기호론은 다음처 럼 정리하여 환언할 수 있겠다. 1. 먼저 기호를 기표와 기의의 관계로 한정한 소쉬르 기호 학에 대한 첫 번째 분석은 메를로-퐁티의 현상학적 환원과 그것의 언어학적 적용을 분명 하게 드러낸다. 2. 두 번째 기호의 임의성 분석은 기호와 의미작용 사이의 관계를 다룬 메 를로-퐁티의 다양하지만 ‘애매한’ 언급들을 분명하게 드러낸다. 3. 세 번째, 의미는 차 이에서 온다는 소쉬르의 체계이론은 아동심리학에서 중요하게 언급되는 거울단계 분석을 통해 구체화되고 메를로-퐁티의 언어에서 기표와 얽히게 되는 보이지 않는 것의 존재를 예시한다. 4. 네 번째 소쉬르에서의 일탈로 언급되는 메를로-퐁티의 파롤의 강조는 소쉬 르의 심리주의적 흔적을 관통하면서 보이는 파롤과 보이지 않는 랑그의 얽힘이나 교차 문 제를 일깨운다. 5. 다섯 번째 소쉬르의 랑그의 확실성과 관련하여 메를로-퐁티의 침묵의 코기토 언급은 보이는 것과 얽혀 있는 보이지 않는 것의 존재와 그 권리를 확실히 한다. This thesis is another attempt to show how to be intertwined(the chiam) of the visible and the invisible in Merleau-Ponty's late philosophy, which has been especially influenced by Saussure's semiology. As tracing the influence of Saussure we can make the ambiguity of Merleau-Ponty's philosophy clear and can introduce the uncompleted project of his own social views based on the semiology. Saussure's semiology can be summed up as that and said in other words. The sign consists of the signifiant and the signifié, according to Merleau-Ponty, the signifiant is to the visible, the signifié is to the invisible, both are intertwined, which Saussure called the arbitrairity. 1. Saussure's definition of the sign(as far as he ruled out the other factors except the signifiant and the signifié) implicates the reduction phenomenological in Merleau-Ponty's body-subject philosophy. 2. The arbitrairity of signs implicates the ambiguous relation(difference) between the signs and the significations in Merleau-Ponty's language philosophy and Plato's dialogues about language. 3. Saussure's 'system of difference' implicates the Lacan's insights about the mirror image stage in child psychology and the being of the écart(difference), that is the invisible in Merleau-Ponty. 4. Saussure's langue(invisible) is important and intertwined with parol(visible) as much in Merleau-Ponty, if the psychological prejudices of Saussure's semiology should be taken off 5. The tacit cogito of Merleau-Ponty implicates the certainty of langue(and parol), that is Lebenswelt, especially the being of the difference and the invisible. It is totally different from the cogito of words in Decarte.

주력임상대상에 따른 음악치료 목적과 중재방법 비교 연구

이 연구는 국내에서 활동 중인 음악치료사를 대상으로 치료 대상 및 중재 방법을 알아보고 자 한 것이다. 총 100명을 대상으로 주력하고 있는 임상 대상을 연령별로 구분하여 중재 목적과 방법을 조사하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 치료사들의 연령, 근무지 형태, 세 션형태는 주력대상에 따라 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 아동을 대상으로 하는 치료사들은 주로 자 폐아동을 대상으로 사회성 향상을 목적으로 재창조 악기연주를 효과적인 방법으로 적용하 고 있었다. 셋째, 성인을 대상으로 하는 경우는 자긍심 향상, 즐거움이나 스트레스 등 정서 적인 면에 초점을 맞춘 중재를 하고 있으며 주로 재창조악기연주나 노래부르기 등을 하고 있었다. 주로 사용하는 음악은 대중음악이었다. 마지막으로 노인을 대상으로 하는 경우는 치매 노인을 대상으로 회고나 기억 향상을 위해 창조적 악기연주를 적용하며 대부분 대중 가요 중에서 트로트 음악을 적용하고 있었다.

기술복제시대 예술의 정치적 가능성 - 소쉬르의 기호학을 경유하여 -

이 글은 벤야민의 ‘기술복제시대의 예술작품’에서 암시된 대중 예술의 정치적 가능성을 모색 해보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 시도의 특징은 예술에서의 아우라의 종말에 대한 그의 유명한 언 급을 바탕으로 예술의 기술적 성격을 새롭게 환기시키고 이를 소쉬르 기호학의 철학적 재해석 을 통해 구체화시킨다. 더불어 포스트시대의 도래와 더불어 죽음에 처해진 근대 개인주의적 예 술의 성격을 쇄신하고 예술의 사회적 정치적 함의를 회복할 것을 촉구한다. 이 과정에서 현대 대중 예술, 즉 복제기술을 발판으로 광범위하게 생산되는 문화상품들의 등장과 부르주아적 예술 적 실천의 쇠퇴, 그리고 인문학적 주체의 죽음 문제가 다루어지는데, 이를 통해 소위 포스트-모 더니즘적 비관주의나 상대주의 유혹을 돌파하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 플라톤의 국가론에서 제기 된 문제의식을 전면에 내세우는데, 당대 비관주의자들의 이상국에 대한 비판이 그러했듯이 이상 (ideal)의 실재는 현실에서 의심스럽기 그지없지만 그렇다고 해서 그는 현대인들이 그러하듯이 현실을 거짓된 이상(시뮬라크르)로 대체해버리는 일종의 물신주의로 퇴행해서는 안 된다는 것 이다. 플라톤이 이상국에서 추방하고자 하는 ‘예술’은 시뮬라크르, 즉 물신주의에 빠져 그것이 꿈인 줄 모르는 꿈을 꾸고 있는 현대인의 자화상이다. 그래서 예술이 진리가 아니라 그저 시뮬 라크르임에도 그것의 가능성이 모색될 수 있다면, 그것은 그것이 시뮬라크르임을 아는 탈물신화 된 주체, 즉 꿈에서 깨어난 각성된 주체를 요청하기 때문이다. 아우라가 사라진 대중예술은 꿈꾸 는 부르주아적 개인이 아니라 각성한 민주주의적 혁명적 주체인 ‘우리’를 일깨울 수 있다. This thesis is to make sure the art's political possibility especially in the age of the technological reproduction. Since Benjamin declared the death of the 'aura' in the modern art, the concept of the art has been criticized and changed, that of the simulacre which Plato had blamed in his 'republics' newly appeared passing through the post-modern application of Baudrillard. But the simulacre is not negative any more here, even though it was the side effect of the mimesis(the poetic process, so long as it is not oblivious that simulacre is just the fake reality as Plato and Baudrillard said, it was different from the real. The artwork could not be free from the destiny of the dream, for it is available after awakening out of it. In the post-modernism the distinction between the dream and the real disappeared, which could be linked to understanding the fetishism of the technological reproduction widely spreading among the highly industrialized people. The semiology of Saussure could be borrowed to make people isolated of it awakened to the revolutionary subject. That is to say, if the simulacre is like the dreaming, to draw the social revolutionary possibility of it, they need to overcome these fetishism, that is, the learning that this dream is not the reality, and after that they can leap as another subject perceiving the power of that dream. According Freud, the dream is based on the unconscious process of the empty signs. And the teaching of 'the signs of the equivalent differences' in Saussure makes us free from the essentialism of the word(a sort of the fetishism), know that we are so much as the sign or the citizen empty in it, and so get to know that we need another signs, or neighbors even though, and for they are empty, too. The revolutionary subject is not based on the great individual subject but the empty(lost) 'us' that so need to associate each other. And the post-modern art, popular mass art can help us being social subjects. That is what Benjamin had dreamed in post-aura art through 'the artworks in the age of the technological reproduction'.

멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 지원하기 위한 트랜스포트 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안

PR-SCTP를 이동환경 지원이 가능하도록 확장함으로써 이동 환경에서 멀티미디어 스트림 전송을 요구하는 응용을 지원하는 트랜스포트 계층 이동성 지원 프로토콜인 uPR-mSCTP를 제안하였다. uPR-mSCTP에서는 비순서화 비신뢰성 데이터 전송 서비스를 지원하기 위한 규칙을 정의하였고, 핸드오버 시 핸드오버 지연을 최소화할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 IPv6에 uPR-mSCTP를 탑재한 경우와 UDP를 탑재한 네트워크 계층 이동성 지원 프로토콜들의 성능을 비교한 결과, uPR-mSCTP는 핸드오버 시 패킷전송률을 줄이기 때문에 네트워크 자원낭비를 줄이고, FMIPv6에 근접하는 패킷손실률을 보이며, MIPv6 HMIPv6에 비해서는 훨씬 낮은 패킷 손실률을 보임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 uPR-mSCTP는 UDP를 탑재한 네트워크 계층 이동성 지원에 비해 제어패킷 오버헤드를 줄이는 장점을 가진다. In this paper, we propose a transport layer mobility support protocol for multimedia streaming services in mobile/wireless environments by extending PR-SCTP to support mobility. We named the proposed scheme to be uPR-mSCTP. The rules related to provide unordered and unreliable data transfer, as well as an approach to minimize handover latency we proposed. Through the simulation results, it is shown that, since uPR-mSCTP reduces transmission rates during handover, not only it reduces the waste of network resources, but it also has the packet loss rate similar to FMIPv6, which is a lot smaller than UDP over MIPv6 or HMIPv6 It also incurs smaller control packet overhead compared to the network layer mobility support approaches.
