        우수 골프지도자의 지도력 요인 탐색

        The purpose of this study is to explore factors of coaching performance used by expert golf coaches through qualitative research methods and to provide rudimentary data on the conceptualization of coaching performance. To this end, both primary and secondary data were collected. The primary data was collected by in-depth interviews and participant observation. It was conducted with carefully selected three participants, all of whom are seasoned golf coaches with more than 10 years of coaching experiences and led the national team and/or reserve team. The secondary data was gathered from relevant documents and databases. Analysis was undertaken using an inductive categorization of the collected data and then the results were drawn accordingly. Furthermore, to ensure the credibility of my findings, triangulation methods, member checking, peer debriefing and author``s methodological reflection were conducted. In conclusion, the research reveals that expert golf coaches’ coaching performance comprised of four major factors: professional expertise, coach-athlete relationship, education level, administrative management capability. The first factor to be discussed in this paper is professional expertise, which has sub-categories of technique, knowledge and coaching methods. The second factor to be discussed is coach-athlete relationship, which has sub-categories of management, communication, trust, understanding and support. The third factor to be discussed is the education level of a coach, which has sub-categories of reflective attitude, sense of duty and coaching philosophy. The fourth factor to be discussed is administrative management capability, which has sub-categories of social relations and management of office and operation.
