무지 외반증에 대한 Wilson 절골술에 대한 임상적 연구
이준모,인정환 의과학연구소 1989 全北醫大論文集 Vol.13 No.3
Hallux valgus has been defined as a static deviation of the first metatarsophalangeal joint of the great toe from the longitudinal axis of the first metatarsal of more than 20 degress with medial deviation of the first metatarsal. Many procedures have been described for the treatment of hallux valgus, ranging from distal or basal first metatarsal osteotomy to resection arthroplasty. Wilson described the oblique displacement osteotomy of first metatarsal shaft for adolescent and adult hallux valgus because of the simplicity of the technique and its excellent results of the correction of the deformity, minimal reduction of metatarsophalangeal joint motion, satisfactory narrowing of the forefoot and the absence of metatarsalgia after surgery. The results of the treatment of 12 cases were analysed at the Department of Orthopedic surgery. Chonbuk National University Hospital from Mar. 1985 to Mar. 1989. The results were as follows. 1. The average preoperative valgus angle of the first metatarsophalangeal joint was 35˚ and the average postoperative 20˚. 2. The average preoperative angle between the first and second metatarsal was 15˚ and the average postoperative 9˚. 3. The overall results after treatment by Bonney and Macnab's criteria were excellent 8 cases in 8 patients, and good 4 cases in 2 patients. 4. The postoperative complication was superficial wound infection in 2 cases.
