우리 생활 속 갚숙이 침투해있는 스마트 디바이스는 이용자의 편리함을 높여줄 뿐 아니라 사회, 경제, 문화 등 사회 전반의 생활양식을 변화시키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 세대별 디바이스 구분과 기술을 통한 사 용자 경험의 변화 과정을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 디지털 플랫폼인 디바이스를 사용하는 목적과 행태, 개인 전용도와 상호작용에 가장 중요한 디지털 컴포넌트인 입력과 출력방식을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 과거에는 디바이스를 사용하는 목적성이 뚜렷하고, 공동으로 사용하며 별도의 장치를 통한 입력, 출력 방식을 사용하였다. 하지만, 디바이스가 진화함에 따라 사용자들은 목적성보다는 즐거움을 위한 유희적인 측면을 더 중요 시하게 되었다. 이에 따라 개인 전용도가 높아졌으며 별도의 장치를 사용하던 과거와는 달리 사용자 신체를 사용해 입력하는 터치스크린을 비롯해 음성, 행위(모션) 등을 통한 인간의 오감을 활용해 입력과 출력이 이루어지는 방식으로 진화하고 있다. 본 논문을 통해 기술을 바탕으로 얻는 사용자들의 총체적 경험이 세대 별로 어떻게 변화해 왔는지 알아보았으며, 이를 바탕으로 차후 사용자 경험을 고려한 디바이스가 발전해 가야하는 방향을 제시하였다. 이를 기반으로 앞으로도 출시된 다양한 스마트 디바이스에서 나타나는 총제적인 경험에 관한 연구에 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다. Smart devices have penetrated deeply into our daily lives. They have not only increased user convenience, but also changed the overall lifestyle of society. The objective of this study was to examine the change process of user experience through device classification and technology by generation. In order to achieve the objective, this study analyzed the purpose and pattern of using a device, which is a digital platform, and the input and output, which are the most important digital components for personal exclusiveness and interaction. The analysis results of this study showed that, in the past, the purpose of using a device was clear, a device was used in common, and a separate device was used for input and output. However, as devices evolved, users began to emphasize the fun aspect than the purpose of a device. As a result, personal exclusiveness has increased. Moreover, unlike devices in the past depending on separate input or output methods, devices are evolving to employ a method performing input and output using the five senses of people such as the touchscreen using a body part of a user, voice, and motion. This study evaluated how the overall experience of users, which was obtained through technology, has changed for each generation. Furthermore, this study proposed the future direction of device development by considering the user experience. It is believed that the results of this study will be useful for future studies on the overall experience of users who will use a range of smart devices, which will be released in the future.
