      • 혈관조영장비와 3D Reconstruction 장비를 이용한 Vessel Length 측정 비교

        목적 혈관조영장비에서 획득한 3D rotation 영상과 이를 바탕으로 3D reconstruction 장비에서 얻어진 3D 영상을 통하여 vessel length를 측정하여 실제값과 차이가 있는지 비교하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 실험에 이용된 장비는 2005년 본원에 설치된 독일 SIEMENS사의 AXIOM Artis dBA 혈관조영장비를 이용하여 190°의 회전 영상을 얻었으며, 이를 바탕으로 동일 회사 3D reconstruction 장비인 Leonardo 장비(Ver, VE23C)를 사용하였고, 이때 Auto TOD(Table object distance)를 0㎝, 혈관 길이(vessel length)에 해당하는 납자 길이 100㎜를 장비 내에 내장된 software인 caliper를 이용해 측정하였다. 그리고 임의의 TOD에서 동일한 방법으로 측정하였다. 측정 저건은 장비에 미리 setting 된 3D rotation DR(5s-1k) 조건을 이용하였으며 ROI는 42㎝ 이었다. 측정오류를 줄이고자 측정자 한명이 3회를 측정하여 평균을 구하였다. 결과 TOD 0㎝에서 100㎝의 납자를 측정한 결과 혈관조영장비 자체에서는 100.1㎜, 3D reconstruction 장비에서는 99.5㎜로 별 차이가 없는 것으로 측정되었으나 임의의 TOD에서는 103,7㎜, 99.2㎜의 측정값을 보였다. 〈표 삽입〉 결론 혈관조영장비와 3D reconstruction 장비를 이용하여 길이 100㎜의 납자를 측정한 결과 TOD 0㎝에서는 100.1㎜, Leonardo에서는 99.5㎜로 별 차이가 없었으나, 임의의 TOD에서는 103.7㎜, 99.2㎜의 측정결과로 오차범위에 있으나 TOD 0㎝ 보다는 혈관조영장비에서 현저한 차이를 보였다. 정확한 환자 치료를 위혜서는 CT 등을 이용한 정확한 높이로 calibration을 시행하는 것이 바람직하며, 정확한 측정을 하기 위하여 장비자체의 caliper 보다는 3D reconstruction 장비의 caliper 기능을 이용하는 것이 바람직하다고 할 수 있을 것이다.

        In this investigation the temporal-spatial characteristics of muscle isometric contraction of shouting in ballistic movement of the musclus biceps brachii flexion was compared between trained kendo athletes and untrained control subjects by surface electromyographic(EMG) analysis Surface EMG from the mid-point of the triceps muscle and biceps muscle, and a hand wrist flesion signal of the wrist were recorded with a personal computer through AD- conversion (1KHz of sampling frequncy). premotor tiem (PMT), motor time (MT), reaction tiem (RT), Max0tension and integrated electromyogram(I-EMG), during 500msec from the were analyxed by bio-information multi-task analyxing program (BIMUTAS Kissei comtec). In the kendo athletes, reaction time was significantly shorter tham that of control group. The shortening of reaction time in kendo athletes was mainly attributed to the shortening of motor time. In the kendo athletes, motor time was significantly shorter than that of control group. In the kendo athletes, I-EMG was significantly high frequency discharge than that of control group. From these results, it is suggested that motor learning is achieved in kendo trained and the maximal is metirc contraction may play an important role in heghtenning the efficiency of ballistic movement in coordination with the shouting.

      • Macrophge에서 IL-1과 heat shock protein의 상관관계

        The macrophage plays an important role in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced fever. Fever formation is attributed to macrophage activity. The purpose of this study is to examine whether induced fever has the charateristics of self-restriction during the process of a fever response. The result of methy-[^(3)H]-thymidine incorporation in RAW 246.7 cells showed that the proliferation of the macrohage was suppressed by a heat load of 39℃ for 2 hr. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) showed that the activity of IL-1 secretion induced by LPS was also suppressed by heat load. Suppression of activities of the macrophage including proliferation and secretion suggest that negative feedback loops exist where the end product, heat, may act back on the macrophage and finally result in the subsiding of a fever. The induction of heat shock protein (hsp70) by heat shock in the macrophage was detected by Western blot and Northern blot analysis. In U-937 cells, the increase of hsp70 band appears to be related to the extent of inhibition of IL-1 secretion. It is assumed that IL-1 secretion from the macrophage which effects the induction of fever, has a close relationship to the induction of hsp70.

      • 유산소 체계의 훈련이 아세티콜린에 대한 말초 발한 감도에 미치는 영향

        Higher sweating in trained, compared to sedentary men has been attributed to differences in the peripheral sweating mechanisms, although such mechanisms have not been completely investigated in comparative terms. The aim of this study is to quantitatively investingate the peripheral sudomotor adaptive mechanisms attributed for greater sweating in endurance-trained athletes as opposed to sedentary men. To do this, we compared sudomotor activities to acetylcholin (ACh) iontophoresed in the fore arm skins of trained versus untrained subjects. Changes in sking and body temperatures, sweating rate (sweat volume), sweat onset time, active sweat gland density (SGD), and single sweat gland output (SGO) were measured. Training-related differences were observed for sweat volume, onset-time, SGD, SGO and skin temperature. It was concluded that endurance trained atholetes had higher sweat outputs due to the combinations of a higher sweat output per activated sweat gland, shorter lag phase for sweating, higher number of activated sweat glands.

      • Pika의 열생리학적 특징

        Pika의 형태학상 특징과 열조절 기능은 추위와 높은 고도 환경에 생태학적으로 적응한 결과라 생각된다. 최근 보고에서 heat shock protein 70 kDa (HSP70)가 열이 열관용에 관계함으로써 유도된다고 하였다. 그래서 이번 연구에서는 세포, 심장혈관 그리고 열 생리학적 관점에서 pika의 몇 가지 특징을 조사하였다. Pika와 rat의 몸 전체에 heat shock을 준 후 HSP의 유도를 10% SDS-PAGE로 확인하였다. Rat에서는 HSP70이 확실하게 유도되었으나, pika의 liver protein에서는 HSP70의 변화를 heat shock 후에 10% SDS-PAGE로 관찰하기 어려웠다. Pika의 HSP 유도의 부족은 높은 온도의 환경의 적응에 있어 단점으로 작용하는 것으로 생각된다.

      • 장거리 훈련자에 있어서 IL-1β의 발현 양상

        In this study, we examined expression of heat shock protein IL-iβ in human leukocytes and hematological variables after moderate-to-heavy exercise. We also compared baseline levels and recovery levels (30min after exercise) of IL-1β in trained(long-distance runner; EXE, n=10) with untrained (CON, n=10) subjects. Subjects ran on a treadmill for 1hr at 70% of HRR (heart rate reserve). Blood were taken at rest and after exercise, and recovery of 30 minutes. All values are presented as means±SD. Statistical significance was assessed by two-way ANOVA with repeated measurement and by independent t-test, post hoc test was administrated by SNK. The results were as follows: Baseline IL-1β levels in EXE were significantly lower than CON. Although the ratio of IL-1β increment during exercise and recovery was similar in both groups, but amounts of increment were different between groups. We conclude that 1 hr treadmill running at 70% HRR intensity (moderate-to-heavy) is a sufficient stimulate of leukocytosis, neutrocytosis and lymphocytosis on both groups. But. EXP that might be a chronic adaptation to training denoted slight increases than CON.

        Anticancer Efficacies of Doxorubicin, Verapamil and Quercetin on FM3A Cells under Hyperthermic Temperature

        Hyperthermia (HT) in combination with anticancer drugs (ACDs) had proven to more efficacious in various cancers, although efficacies vary according to chemotherapeutic compounds and cancer types. Presently there are few data that compares anticancer efficacies among ACDs under hyperthermic conditions. Therefore, we selected three commonly used ACDs (quercetin, verapamil and doxorubicin) and compared their antitumor effects when each was treated with 43C HT exposure. Firstly, FM3A, a murine breast cancer cell line, was treated with each ACD for 1 h followed by 43C exposure for additional 1 h, and examined the effects of: 1) each drug, 2) 43C HT exposure, and 3) the combination of each drug and 43C HT exposure for 1, 6 and 24 h. The determined overall effects on FM3A cells were arrested cell proliferation, clonogenic efficiency and apoptosis. Pre-treatment of FM3A cells to each ACD followed by 43C HT exposure produced greater antitumor effects including suppressed cell proliferation, reduced clonogenic efficiency and increased apoptotic cell death, compared to ACD treatment or HT exposure alone. Apoptotic cell death occurred in a time-dependent manner. Among the ACDs, antitumor efficacies varied in the order of doxorubicin > verapamil > quercetin. It was concluded that heat exposure during ACD treatment of caner cells may be an important factor to get a better antitumor benefit, even though this benefit may differ from one drug to another.
