Airtightness of modern buildings has been increased and people are staying indoors about 20 hours a day. As indoor residence time increase, effect of indoor air quality on health got higher. Deposition rate and penetration factor are important factors for predicting indoor particle concentration. However, these values can be determined differently during analyzing process. In this paper uncertainty of determining deposition rate and penetration factor that comes from entering different input data is experimentally examined. As a result, deposition rate got higher as particle size increase and penetration factor got lower as particle size increase, but these value could be changed as input data changes even if experiment was passed off in same place. For calculating correct deposition rate and penetration factor, standard for setting input data has to be established and experiment has to be repeated many times.

This paper shows the characteristics of airflow by infiltration through opening of underground parking lot in office building. This infiltration affects indoor air quality and building energy consumption. The effect of the wind velocity, direction and temperature differences between indoor and outdoor on the airflow through the building envelop has been investigated. In this study, the effect of the infiltration through opening of underground parking lot in office building will be analyzed using airflow network modeling by CONTAMW 3.0. Office building were simulated to confirm these characteristics. It is important to estimate the airflow and pressure difference across opening of underground parking lot for understanding the energy impacts of infiltration in office building because infiltration is likely to affect building energy consumption. As a result, there is general upward movement of air inside the building under outside cold conditions with airflow into vertical shafts from the lower floors and out to the upper ones. For preventing problems from the stack effect in office building, the first concern should be the improvement of airtightness in the opening of underground parking lot.
겨울철 침기에 따른 실내·외 미세먼지 농도 관계에 관한 연구

Penetration of outdoor particulate matter(PM) is caused by the air flow from outside through infiltration, natural ventilation and mechanical ventilation. Therefore, recent deterioration of air pollution can increase the possibility of penetration of outdoor PM indoors. In this study, indoor and outdoor size-resolved particle concentrations and the ratio under infiltration condition are analyzed to investigate the impact of particle size on the penetration and formation of indoor PM concentration. The particle number concentrations for PM0.3, 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10㎛ were measured using optical particle counter(OPC) and ratio of indoor-to-outdoor(I/O) particle concentrations were calculated. Results suggested that outdoor PM could penetrate through outdoor airflow by infiltration and contribute to increase indoor PM concentrations. Calculated I/O ratio depended strongly on particle size. I/O ratio of small size particles (<0.5㎛) were around 1, and as the particle size increases, the I/O ratio tend to be decreased.
