중년여성의 한국무용 참여가 건강관련체력 및 골밀도에 미치는 영향

In this study, the effects of korean dance participation on health related physical fitness and bone mineral density in middle aged women. The subjects were of 28 middle aged women, they were divided into two groups: the group of 14 middle aged women with korean dance participation and the group of 14 middle aged women without korean dance participation. Health physical fitness and bone density were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 statistical program. The result was as follows. Cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscle endurance, and flexibility were found to be significantly higher in the group with korean dance participation than in the group without korean dance participation. And fat free mass, fat mass, and body fat percentage were found to be lower in the group with korean dance participation than in the group without korean dance participation. Total bone density and T-score were found to be significantly higher in the group with korean dance participation than in the group without korean dance participation. T-score was in the borderline stage between normal and osteopenia for korean dance participation group, but it was in the osteoporosis range for group without korean dance participation. These results suggest that middle aged women of korean dance participation maintain health related physical fitness and bone mineral density at higher levels. Therefore it is important to long-term exercise habits using korean dance to prevent decreased health related physical fitness and osteoporosis, and there is a need for continued expansion of korean dance programs for middle aged women to prepare for a healthy old age.
