Recently, the use of ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) has increased due to increase in leisure activities, and the awareness of safety and traffic accidents has improved, but it still insignificant compared to other transportation. Therefore, in this study, the current status and characteristics of traffic accidents related to ATVs were investigated, and actual ATV accident was analyzed. As a result, it was confirmed that the condition of the braking system directly connected to the safety of the ATV was not well maintained. For driver safety in the future, it is considered that it is necessary to strengthen safety regulations related to experience centers and rental companies handling AVTs and to conduct regular inspections in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Management Act.

차종에 따른 항력특성을 고찰하기 위하여, 레저용 차량 (RV: Recreational Vehicle), 덤프트럭 (dump truck) 및 트랙터-트레일러 (tractor-trailer)에 대하여, 전산유체역학 (CFD: Computational Fluid Dynamics)소프트웨어인 Fluent 프로그램을 이용하여 유동해석을 수행하였다. 유동해석결과, 덤프트럭이 가장 큰 항력을 발생시켰으며, 트랙터-트레일러는 비접촉 차 대 오토바이 사고가 보고되고 있는 차종으로 3회 이상반복적으로 항력이 발생됨을 알 수 있었다. 동 사유로 대형차량의 제한속도를 완화시키기 위한 검토를수행할 경우, 교통약자인 보행자 및 이륜차 등에 대한 항력의 작용특성을 고려하여 신중하게 접근해야할필요성이 있으며, 트랙터-트레일러의 비접촉 사고조사에 있어서 항력의 작용형태를 고려해야할 필요성이있을 것으로 사료된다.

In this study, we estimate the vehicle speed by analyzing the acoustic data recorded in a single microphone of a surveillance camera. The frequency analysis of the acoustic data corrects the Doppler effect, which is a characteristic of the moving sound source, and reflects the geometric relationship according to the location of the sound source and the microphone on the two-dimensional plane. The acoustic data is selected from the horn sound that is mainly observed in an urgent situation among various sound sources that may occur in a traffic accident, and the characteristics of the monotone source are considered. We verified the reliability of the proposed method by time domain acoustic analysis and actual vehicle evaluation. This method is effective and can be used for traffic accident analysis in the blind spot of the camera using a single microphone built into the existing surveillance camera.
